This is an extremely nice facility. It has a spacious workout environment. The equipment is updated with traditional equipment infused into the environment. The staff are very friendly and professional. I am always greeted with a smile which starts my workout on a positive note. The facility is clean and well maintained. The members and staff are very courteous. I highly recommend this facility.

Love this place. I just hate that people don't learn to put back the equipment the way it's supposed to be after they workout. It's definitely a workout demotivatior. You go to use lets say the leg press and it's loaded to the max. Why should I have to unload someone else's plates. That sucks! Well I guess that may be a problem at most gyms. But other than that. Great place.

I have to give this club a low star ranking because their hours are not representative of what I pay for. I don't like the 24/5 but this club's hours doesn't cater to anyone who works late and needs to go in later. It's not the hours I need. Hopefully going to try to get to Kannapolis and hopefully they are 24 hours like they are SUPPOSED to be. Come on PF. Get your stuff together.

I have been a member since it opened. Friendly staff and clean facility. I'm there 2-3 times / week. LOVE the hydro massage chairs!! Totally worth the $! HOWEVER, I do not love the summer policy of allowing 14-17 year olds to basically hang out there free. Those of us who are there for serious workouts don't appreciate groups of teenagers who hog the strength training machines, play on their phones between sets, and rarely if ever wipe down when they finish. So 5 stars in winter, 3 in summer, PF.

Super great crew. Rich and Amanda on the weekends make coming a pleasure. During the week Chase is always there with a smile and he greets you by name. Which is so awesome. The new manager Wally is friendly and personable. The environment is easily accessible. The machine and workout areas are always clean. Today was my very first day here at Planet Fitness. I was kindly greeted by Chase! He helped me get set up and showed me around and explained everything in detail! Ok. Not really my style. It's a good value though. The place is clean. Some dumbbells and Smith machines but no free weights really. Loads of treadmills and elliptical. Stationary bikes and recumbent bikes. They discourage grunting while working out. There are designated areas for circuit training. There is also a Black Card membership option that gives you access to the spa area with tanning beds if you want to use them. The black card also allows you to bring a guest in with you. The massage chairs and Hydro massages are worth the price for the upgrade if you ask me. The black card also allows you to go to any Planet Fitness. I have been going here for years now and it has been very nice. The place is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly.

My definite favorite employee of my Gym is Rich!!. This guy does the work and has done the homework on what makes great customer service. Especially when he's teamed up with Amanda. The dynamic duo .They're the reason I actually go to the gym on Saturday n Sunday mornings! Rich greets you with a huge smile and the most energetic positive vibes. His enthusiasm gets you ready to start your workout. If you're having a bad day, he's that ray of sunshine. I can't say enough nice things about the staff at the Salisbury location. During the week Chase is awesome too! I love that he remembers your name. You walk in and he immediately greets you. The staff makes this gym! One person's attitude or attention can completely change your day. I appreciate the hard work they put in.

Horrible experience. Tanning beds have hair and dead bugs traped beneath the glass and bulbs. Seems like the owners would take time to properly clean it, since it's inaccessible by us customers and obviously unappealing to lay on top of. The hydro bed area has dim lightening and is hard to see just how dirty it is. Once I looked closer, the chair was covered in snot. But the final straw was as I checked in today, management tells me that my adult daughter was not allowed to sit in the lobby or even be in the building, without having a membership. No business elsewhere says you're not allowed in the building without being a members. Also I've been told numerous times how this location over charges for the spa while offering less services than other locations. I've tried to cancel several times but unfortunately, you cannot cancel in the app, by phone, or email, so now I have to go in person to cancel and they do not even refund you the prepaid portion of the month or year, you do not use. Looking forward to taking our business elsewhere.

I used to love it here. Until there was an incident where a man followed me to the massage chairs. There are not cameras at the back or in the middle section of the massage chairs. Making it more of a risk if you are in certain areas as you can’t be seen. The man had taken my phone out of my hand and texted himself to get my number, he was in my space and would not stop bothering me. I got up and proceeded to leave he stood in front of me and asked for a hug. I said no, he proceeded to ask him to stop. He did not listen and hugged me extremely tight (seemed angry I said no) then forced a nasty kiss onto my lips. I was so emotional I cried. Another guest (a veteran male) noticed the issue and assisted me and helped me get away safely and he did tell on that man so I did as well. The female manager was kind, she was very you unhappy that happened to me she cared and made me feel better. She reported to incident. HR and whoever is higher up in planet fitness did not care. Despite my text to the man saying I did not feel comfortable or appreciate being groped and being kissed without my consent and him admitting what he did and proceeded to say “I couldn’t help it, I just wanted to do badly.” The club did not care.. they did not give more cameras as I requested so there are not areas you cannot be seen to prevent these incidents. They also said they will not be banning him and I asked since their policy is female/male can go into the female bathroom/shower area.. If that man would be allowed in there if he claimed to identify as this. They said yes. So as much as I loved planet fitness I have not been able to bring myself to go back. It has made me very sad. But it’s not the staff currently there’s fault. It is Planet Fitness and their morals and lack of values or respect for women. Stay safe. Just sad that such a large franchise doesn’t value safety. I meant to edit this review a long time ago to help others be aware but just got on my profile for the first time in a while and decided to edit. -Ask planet fitness to put cameras at the back corner and the middle hydro bed section! Make sure you are safe and seen/protected.

I literally changed home gyms after 2 days. Such a disappointment. Black card is so not worth it as this location. First of all you charge more than most places. $29.95 and you don’t have Stand up tanning booths, nor hybrid tanning booths, total body enhancement, wellness pod, Cryotherapy. You also do not off classes with trainer AT All!!! So why do y’all charge so much for your black card? $24.95 at other places within 20 miles that have everything above. When ask when you will get any of this, I was told maybe 2 years. 😂😂😂

I live in Davie county but I workout here in the morning before work during the week. Chase and Lisa help start my day off right. The other patrons are also surprisingly kind. Not as much up to date equipment as some of the newer facilities around the Triad, but I'm okay with that since the atmosphere is so nice. Very clean, well stocked, and none of the machines are broken for long.

I always enjoy Zach and the staff along with tanning, hydro massage bed and deep tissue massage chair. I haven't been able to work out for about a year due to health issues along with keep hurting myself due to clumsiness. I still get a smile and welcomed feel. I love this place! Great comfortable place to find yourself physically and mentally. Great tanning facilities. 4/18: I love going and I always feel comfortable and welcome. Today though I was really upset and embarrassed not to mention denied access because “your payment didn’t go through”. I just paid the yearly fee just 15 days prior and paid the monthly bill on the 19th of March. I even checked my account status twice before being dropped off at the gym. I feel like they are trying to get the monthly payments sooner and sooner every month. I really feel some type of way about that.

I loved going to this gym until they started taking advantage of my money. I under the monthly fee and the yearly deposit but after I had already paid both of those for the month they charged me two separate charges of $25 while my card was locked and now as I am trying to get my money back for that charge, they take two more $10 amounts from my card. Now that I am aware of this people are saying that Planet Fitness tends to do this a lot so don’t waste your money guys, find another gym its not worth it.

I’ve only visited this location a handful of times because it’s always closed when I’m available. I don’t understand why?! not everyone has time during the day to workout. It is ridiculous that I have to drive to the next location in a different town just to be able to workout! So it's clean and that's about it. It's only open till 11 pm 4 days a week. It has newer equipment that has lower weight limits. The hot water for showers is sporadic in the women's room from what my wife tells me. Lastly apparently their black card spa closes 15 minutes before closing. Was looking forward to a 10 minute massage at 10:44 and was informed they had closed the Black card spa. The gym is clean and has newer equipment, I guess if you don't mind a very light workout in the middle of the day it's alright. Even the Planet Fitness in Henderson, NC has later hours.
