Port City Power Yoga is my happy place! The studio is small, cozy, and inviting with heat that feels energizing instead of overwhelming. The power flow is perfect - you pretty much know what you're going to get, but each teachers still has their own style and vibe. I also love how many classes there are, and that I can always fit one into my schedule. (Shout out to the 6am crew, and to the 75-minute classes on the weekend!) But the best part of PCPY is the community. Talented teachers, kind members, and a desire to do good on the mat and in the world. I absolutely love practicing here!

I have been a part of this community for awhile, and in this month of gratitude (November) I want to share how truly grateful I am for PCPY.

Each time I walk in the door, I am met with warmth — not just physically from the heated space but emotional warmth from the people. Everyone I interact with is kind and welcoming. It is wonderful to be in a space where the fear of judgement doesn’t exist.

I love the encouragement to do what feels right in my body. Yoga has deepened my mind-body connection and increased my sense of presence. Looking forward to the next time I’m on my mat 🫶🏽🧘🏼‍♀️

PCPY has been a second home of mine for almost a year now. This place completely transformed me inside out and that’s a result of the teachers and community that’s been cultivated. The moment you walk in the front door you’re greeted with good energy and big smiles and the entire session is full of empowerment and release. You’ll become a different person, for the better

I started with the 2 week intro and am hooked. I've been to other studios over the years but I haven't practiced in a very long time so my technique was way off. It was ok though I just went at my own pace and took lots of rest.

It doesn't take long to really get the hang of it. I'm in my second week now and I feel way more confident and am close to keeping up.

This place has a great vibe. It's not intimidating or "cliquey" like some other studios can be. My favorite class is the Power Beats class which I never thought I'd like. I usually prefer more of a traditional style but this class has an amazing playlist. Each instructor brings their own something special to their class.

I've never tried infrared hot yoga either but I LOVE it!! You're going to get really sweaty but there are nice bathrooms and showers.

This doesn't have anything to do with the yoga but I love walking down the block for a coffee or smoothie after class ;) Makes me feel like I'm in a big(ger) city.

I just have to share how much I love Port City Power Yoga! The moment I walk in, I get this instant sense of calm and happiness. It’s such a welcoming place, all the yoga teachers are absolutely amazing and it really feels like a little family!

Every class has an easy, relaxed vibe, and everyone is so friendly. I’ve found my groove and feel comfortable no matter my skill level on that day :)
Honestly, this place has made such a difference in my life; it’s not just about yoga for me. It’s the great connections, the laughter, and those peaceful moments that make it truly special.
If you’re looking for a place to unwind and feel at home, you’ve got to check it out. I promise you’ll love it!

I LOVE this studio - everyone is warm and welcoming!
I had the pleasure of taking Willie’s class for the first time @ 6am and it was amazing. The way he slowly eased into an early morning class but still packed the power was just what I needed. I recommend Willie’s class to any early birds that are looking for some heat and an awesome start to your day - I promise you will be smiling when you leave!

Yoga once a week can change one's body, yoga twice a week can change one's mind, and yoga every day can change one's life. Yoga at Port City Power Yoga has changed my life.

I love this studio. The space is clean and smells great but most of all it’s friendly and full of community. The warmth allows me to get deeper into poses and release more toxins as I sweat through the flow. It’s welcoming to all levels and not quieter than a library like some yoga spaces. PCPY is fun, inviting and has so many offerings each month to connect with your local community.

Love this yoga studio!! This is my first hot yoga experience. I am very new to yoga. Even when I get lost or go the wrong direction I am able to get back on track and dont feel embarrassed that everyone is watching. Every one has been super friendly and welcoming. I enjoy the slow flow class. After working up a sweat the cold lavender towel is the best refreshing part at the end. 5 out of 5 experiece!!!

Don't know why it has taken me so long to post a review. Started in March of 2022 to get back in shape and make some small changes - turned into a completely positive lifestyle change. This place is just great and can't imagine my life without the studio and my fellow yogis 🧘😌

Brian was a great instructor and the room was at the right temperature for hot yoga. He pushed me to choose my strength and my practice definitely improved because of him. That cold lavender towel at the end was an extra sweet treat. I cannot wait to go back!

BEAUTIFUL studio space. The kind of yoga practiced here is unlike any other kind in that it rinses me out from the inside out! Challenging, hot (not too hot, just the right amount), and really nice people! Love getting to know other people who come to practice. Very welcoming space, non-judgmental. Which I know is the goal of any yoga place, and though doesn’t always look like that. This place is the real deal.
