I participated in the restoration yoga class led by Emily Hurr. I’m a 60+ female, new to yoga, and a friend asked me to join. It was two hours of pure relaxation and release as Emily instructed us through movements of flexibility, mindfulness, and following our breath as our nervous system resets. That night I slept for eight hours and the following day took a two hour nap! I would highly recommend taking a class with Emily, her instructions and supportive approach creates a positive environment for students of all levels.

Took a class this morning through ClassPass - I recommend it! The studio has a lot of natural light, very cozy. The instructor was very nice and helped me a lot as this was my first yoga class ever. I look forward to going back and trying another class! They have a great deal going on for new members as well.

I was fortunate enough to attend 2 workshops at Purna Yoga East over the weekend with Aadil! The staff was friendly and welcoming & the space is beautiful! They have a great selection of props & the yoga wall is amazing! Very grateful to call Clayton, NC my hometown and so happy to have such a wonderful yoga community here!

Purna Yoga East is a gift that keeps on giving. It is truly a heart-warming, heart-opening and heart-welcoming yoga studio like none other. I happen to teach there, so I'm a bit biased, but I am also (first and foremost) a student. I have found my yoga "home" in Purna Yoga and at PYE. The level of training is superior, and the studio is home to a rich community of teachers and students who enjoy camaraderie in and outside the classes. There's something for everyone, unconditionally. We have a "million-dollar" space, as one visiting instructor said, with a Great Yoga Wall ~ a rare feature in the Triangle ~ and lots of other fun workshops and special offerings. I can't recommend PYE highly enough.

Purna Yoga East has been such a BLESSING in my life. It is a joy to take classes there and I feel my health and well being have greatly improved since starting classes in 2009. This is a very welcoming and non-judgemental place you will feel at home as soon as you walk in the door! Thank you to owners Catharine and Bob for such a lovely heart-centered place to learn and practice!

I joined Purna Yoga East just over a year ago at the suggestion of my acupuncturist. I was a beginner with no experience at all with yoga; I found all the instructors wonderfully patient, understanding and knowledgeable. I was offered lots of one-on-one instruction during classes and after classes. I have made many very dear friends at Purna Yoga East. I now drive from Apex to Clayton to attend classes at Purna Yoga East because of the friendly, caring and compassionate yogis there.

Instructor was nice, but there was very little interaction on a one-on-one level with me, as a new participant. As a result I didn't achieve the social interaction that I was seeking, and I hurt my neck both times I attended.
