I joined Rebel Moves Pilates in June 2024, starting with one Foundation class per week. Now I’m doing three Intermediate classes weekly—and I’m already down a size! My jeans fit loosely again, just like they did three years ago. Martina is incredibly kind and professional, and the same goes for Nicol, Sally, and Kara. Each instructor brings their own style and energy, making every class feel fresh and motivating. The studio’s decor and atmosphere made me fall in love at first sight. Highly recommend!

It’s been over five years since I last took Pilates, and stepping into Rebel Pilates reminded me why I loved it so much in the first place. I previously trained with a seasoned instructor who instilled in me a respect and appreciation for the Pilates method, and I’m so happy that same dedication and energy is present at Rebel.

Nichole, my instructor, brings a thoughtful approach to each session. While she’s newer to instructing, she’s a strong listener, open to feedback, and always willing to explore new movements. She is enthusiastic and cares about both the integrity of the Pilates method and the experience of each individual in the room.

The classes are the perfect balance of challenging and supportive—never painful, but definitely effective. I’ve noticed a difference in my core strength since starting, and I leave each session feeling stronger.

Martina is hands-down the best private instructor in the greater Wake Forest area. She is quite adept at finding all the details in a client’s posture. She can see dysfunctional patterns of movement and then sets out to correct them with her exercise plans. This woman should be your go-to for injury rehabilitation and as an adjunct therapy post- surgical PT.

I started working with Martina at a different studio and happily followed her to Rebel Moves. At my first Pilates session I looked around at what others were doing and said to myself “no way”. Now, I’m doing all that and more, thanks to Martina.

I am 66, I have MS and Scoliosis. Therefore, I have “special needs”. Martina has gone above and beyond to find and tailor exercises just for me. Concentrating on areas, such as, gait improvement, better balance, mobility of ankles and feet, and more upper body flexibility.

Thanks to Martina and her dedicated staff, I am in the best shape of my life. I truly believe Martina loves and deeply cares about what she is doing … it comes through loud and clear. I’m looking forward to my next session.

Martina is amazing! I have several health 'challenges' and Martina has given me back not only my strength but also confidence. She is extremely knowledgeable and shares the why behind the movements - don't be fooled, the movements may look easy but the positions are challenging in a good way and are very effective without the pain of other types of exercise/training. She provides a feeling of all over good health and has many specialists for recommendation in conjunction with her training.
