The owner, Dino, and the trainers are highly skilled and invested in every members progress! The small class size really allow the one-on-one personalized attention that fits my workout needs. Renu Health and Fitness is not your typical gym, it's more like a personal training session in a group setting (up to 6 people). Dino, the owner tailors to fit the workout session for your needs. I have a very weak back because of a bulged disk from 10 years ago and I can really tell that the workouts I'm doing are helping me to gain strength and reduce pain. Dino has the credentials and proven methods to solve your aging problems and pains.

Before I joined Renu Health and Fitness, I struggled with unexplained aches and felt physically older than my actual age. Any time I tried a new physical activity, my body seemed to react negatively, leaving me frustrated and hesitant to push myself. Since training with Dino at Renu, I’ve gained more confidence in my body. I don’t injure myself as easily, and after long trips—sleeping in unfamiliar beds or sitting in a car or on a plane for hours—I don’t wake up feeling stiff or achy. My body bounces back much faster now. I’ve also noticed that I’m stronger and more evenly toned. The random aches are gone, and when I combine Renu’s workouts with other weight-loss strategies, I see results more quickly. Before Renu, I was going to a regular gym but felt bored and unchallenged. Before Renu, I was frustrated by my failure to find a trainer or gym that understood the needs of an older exerciser with some old injuries. As I recently retired, I was determined to improve my
strength, mobility, and flexibility, and the difficulty I had in finding a place or person that felt appropriate was surprising.
I feel super lucky to have found Renu. At the end of every session, I feel challenged but not beaten up. Dino is not only great at working around limitations but also working on improving
those limitations (and has the credentials to back up his approach). I’m pretty new to Renu, but I feel like this approach will help me improve at a pace that’s good for me and will help my consistency (which has been an ongoing issue).
In the short time I've been going, the most significant change has been mentally. I just feel better in body and mind. What also stands out is the supportive environment; there is zero intimidation when walking into Renu. Everyone starts from where they are, and Dino is skilled at designing workouts and modifying them to each individual’s strengths and weaknesses. It’s like personal training in a small class environment, which I find uniquely motivating.

Dino is the absolute best trainer I have ever meet.Dino have been working with me and my knees feel amazing.My knees where so weak and hurting.The doctor said I need knee replacement Dino been working with me I feel little to no pain with my knees.If Dino was not working with me I’m not sure what state my knees would be in.Dino is amazing at what he do if anyone in pain not just your knees Dino is who you want to see.

Great atmosphere. Personalized attention. Great coaching. Dino is very knowledgeable in physiology, exercises and the science of aging. His tips and coaching to combat aging are priceless. Workouts are pretty much tailored to fit anyone's needs. Facility is clean. Nice equipment and great variety of exercises. Highly recommend!!

I love working out with Dino! He is so knowledgeable, takes time to learn your individual fitness needs and, as a result, each session feels like a personal training session. Whether there are 2 people in a session or 10, Dino pays attention to your fitness goals. The sessions are never the same so you can't get bored but he does build on core work so my fitness level has increased even with my physical limitations. The atmosphere is friendly, non-judgmental and the music is good! This is no ordinary gym and Dino is a treasure!

I started attending Renu Fitness about 3 months ago. I can't say enough great things about this place. The gym is convenient, great classes, and excellent instructors. I've had hip/pelvic pain for almost 25 years, and I love that I can get a great workout in without feeling any pain or further injuring myself. It is possible to have a great workout without doing 1000 burpees! And Dino (owner) - he's fantastic. Every class feels like a personal training session. He is attentive, encouraging, and quick to correct if something is out of alignment to make sure I don't get injured. And to top it all off - he is also excellent at nutrition advice. I've been at a plateau for years, despite eating healthy and working out almost every day. We talked about my goals, he took my measurements (yikes), laid out a plan for me with a few diet tweaks....and today I am done 5 pounds and over 3 inches. YIPPEE!!!!!!

This fitness center is the best! It is not your typical gym. I was worried that I would be in people’s way when exercising but I was wrong. This is the most friendly gym and the trainers show you how to exercise without feeling sore the next day. It is more like a workout session with personal guidance. This fitness center is for someone who does not like to do the same workout routine every day. It has a variety of fitness exercises that can be done even if you have’nt exercised in years. This center is not just for individuals over the age of 40. My 16 year old son goes and enjoys working out with the trainers.

I'm so thankful that Dino Nowak opened his first NC Renu location in Raleigh. I've worked out for 15 years at a variety of places and had several personal trainers. Dino and his associate, Liam, are hands-down the best. They work with each person's individual level of fitness. Their concentration is Fitness over Forty but any age is welcome. For one monthly fee equivalent to about two personal training sessions from an experienced trainer you get unlimited personal training for the whole month! I work full time but I work out at Renu Mon-Sat. They make you want to come in! I've met such nice people there. Don't hesitate at all to join us if you are looking to get in better shape. Contact Dino for a free session and you will be hooked by his vast knowledge of how the body works and his great easy-going personality. Don't wait; come on in!
