Resilient Fitness is an amazing fitness experience! I come from a non-athletic background, and gyms have always been intimidating to me. But let me tell you, Resilient Fitness is more than just a gym or being guided by a personal trainer. I dug deep into my fitness journey a year ago with Resilient Fitness. At 5'8" as a female, I was pushing towards 170lbs, which is over the Army Standard, requiring to be taped for the first time in my career! The new Army ACFT standards and getting closer to the big 4-0, I knew my fitness needed to become a priority. I chose to entrust Resilient Fitness as the place to embark on my fitness journey. In about 6 months of consistent training, I dropped 2 pant sizes, and my shirts went from a medium to a small. I didn't concern myself much with the weight on the scale, but as military folks know, we weigh in at least every 6 months. This past summer, I was at a weight that no longer required me to be taped!!! I have lost 10+lbs since my journey with Resilient Fitness and gained so much more; muscle, mental health/clarity and huge boost of confidence! My first ever scored ACFT, I ended up with a total of 445 with an alternate cardio event. Remember, I come from non-athletic background! My greatest achievement within my first year with Resilient Fitness was successfully back squating my body weight 10 times!!!! I am continuing my journey with Resilient Fitness with new goals, which is not limited to, but includes, scoring at least a 500 on the ACFT without an alternate cardio event.
