Blaine has made a real difference in my life. I started working out with him a few years ago. At that time, I had frequent lower back pain and struggled to stay with any workout plan. Blaine took a thoughtful, purposeful approach in designing a program that allowed me to steadily build strength and he worked with me when I had setbacks in my training. Through the time at Revolution Strength & Conditioning, I've realized Blaine knows his craft and he does a great job explaining the exercises and why they are important. I have been lifting weights on and off for 20 years, which includes my military background. My level of knowledge and experience could be considered intermediate. I decided to get back into fitness as a 40-year-old man and gave Blaine a call to set up some training; his power building hybrid program seemed right up my alley. Let me tell you, this continues to be an incredible experience! The physical and mental challenges are real, and the gains are impressive, actually similar to newbie gains if you can believe it; this is all without gear, training only twice a week, and despite the real impact of age. It’s funny, but my wife has been complaining for the last two months that my legs, chest, arms, and shoulders are getting too big and there isn’t a lot of fat left for her to love on…. lol, who knew she preferred a slight dad bod. Blaine, I’m in love with your programming, expert techniques, and knowledge on injuries and their prevention. These last 9 months have been great, and I am happy to continue meeting my strength and aesthetic goals with you, and the dogs. You’re truly a blessing sir, thank you.

Blaine provides an encouraging environment to be in. He is an amazing coach; motivating, encouraging, and detail oriented. Blaine is also caring and attentive to your individual needs. He is knowledgeable, professional and a very effective communicator.
These last 6 months, Blaine has helped me break through some mental and physical barriers I had. I have gained so much strength, and knowledge on how to properly execute the exercises. Every week we set a new goal and we crush it 💪🏼!
The gym is well equipped, clean, and organized. In addition, we have two adorable dogs! Sophie and Gideon are the sweetest and well behaved dogs you will ever meet. You will love it here!

I started training with Blaine during the pandemic in 2021. I was impressed and appreciative that Blaine responded right away and took the time to speak with me and thoroughly understand my goals and training experience during our initial call. This translated to our sessions where I have found him to be very organized, thoughtful, efficient and effective in supporting me on my fitness journey. I appreciate that Blaine incorporates techniques that he has tried himself and researched and also takes the time to explain them during sessions if needed. He also has taken time to incorporate new and different exercises, which I have appreciated, to expand my training options. I really enjoy working out in his gym and he has done an impeccable job with enhancing the space and equipment over the past year. It is very comfortable and effective. I currently live and work out of state but have had the honor to train with and get to know Blaine over the past year when I am home. I appreciate his willingness to train me when I am in the area and especially his help and support when I am away. Blaine has helped guide me with programming and answers questions when I am training on my own. I am so blessed to have gotten to know Blaine as a trainer, coach and friend over the past year. I can truly look back on my training journey with Blaine and say that I am stronger and growing and making progress in different ways. For anyone considering a trainer, I 100% recommend Blaine. Excellent coach. I had to leave due to moving back home, but if I had the chance, I would have definitely stayed. This guy definitely knows what he is talking about and is down-to-earth as well. I impressed myself with how much strength I gained thanks to his coaching in the few months I worked with him. He really helped me break through some of the physical and mental plateaus I had when it came to strength training.

I have been a client with Blaine at Revolution for over 2.5 years. Starting off in my mid-50's, I wasn't sure what I could achieve, but wanted to look stronger than I did and doing pilates for the two previous years wasn't cutting it.
I really knew NOTHING about strength training/weight lifting, so having someone who could help me do it safely and effectively so I didn't hurt myself or waste time was important.
Blaine's approach was to focus first on strength via the basic bodyweight movements (squat, deadlift, bench press and overhead press) for the first six months. In that short time I was deadlifting #315 for 5 reps....for me, or anyone in their mid-50's, those kind of gains are amazing. Of course, it was hard work! But Blaine calibrates the increases so that it isn't undoable. ( I didn't fully realize it at the time, but increasing strength not only makes everyday activities easier, but is the best thing one can do to reverse a major hallmark of aging, which is loss of strength...)
After that milestone was reached, we discussed objectives and began to focus on hypertrophy for the next few months. At this time we are focusing on conditioning, while still maintaining strength. (I now can deadlift around #400).
I will be 59 this month and I am stronger now (not muscle bound!) than I have ever been in my entire life (even stronger than when I was a black belt in Judo years ago!)
I highly recommend Blaine Vigilante and Revolution Strength & Conditioning if you want to benefit from a trainer who understands how to help anyone who is willing to commit to doing the work to achieve strength gains (and look better!) safely and effectively.
One more thing....I had been given a 'free' work out by a 'trainer' in the past which left me unable to move without severe muscle soreness for over three days.....of course I never went back! Blaine's approach will not leave you incapacitated for 3 days....in my case, I train 3x/week and recover on my off days. While I need that recovery time, I am not so sore I cannot do my daily work, so it is a sustainable approach for me).

I enjoy working out at Revolution Gym. I feel the small space is very clean and very safe. Although bigger gyms have more items and more people, I just don’t feel comfortable & safe in that environment. Whereas I really enjoy personal training and I feel like it’s more effective; I’m not getting lost not knowing what to do or how to do it. This space is SUPER clean and sometimes has sweet doggies that say hello.
In my personal experience working with Blaine these are the qualities that he exuded. Blaine is meticulous at taking notes tracking, processing workouts, explaining, and rectifying errors; and Setting short-term & long-term goals. During your workout, he not only explains what you’re doing but why you’re doing it and how it will help you. (He even has a skeleton to show you). I just feel like this is a much better fit for me and for anybody who wants to make real progress instead of being just social

Before working with Blaine, I was a regular in the weight room; training my body to be in ideal shape to compete in football. I felt I had pretty sound form in the basic lifts; clean, bench, squat, and I was improving at a steady pace. After training with Blaine, I have made profound improvement in my form on the bench, squat, clean and snatch. My squat went up 25 lbs in two weeks for 3X5, my clean form became significantly more consistent and the tightness in my shoulder as a result of improper bench form greatly diminished. In only four sessions, Blaine made profound improvements to lifts I had been training for 5 years. I highly recommend his services for athletes or anyone interested in getting in shape. Also his dog is the sweetest dog you will ever meet.

I have never posted a review on any one individual and/or business. However, I feel as though needed and well deserved. Blaine is knowledgeable, professional and a very effective communicator and coach.
A little background about myself, as to give more insight into why I know Blaine is an exceptional coach.
I have been an athlete starting at the age of 10-11 years old. I was heavy into track and field as a sprinter. I ran all throughout school and for outside organizations. After school I served in the United States Army and Marine Corps. After my military career was over I continued to work with personal trainers for over the past decade. I am not new to physical fitness and I know when I have come in contact with a knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated training coach.
I say all of that to emphasize why I have such high regard and respect for Blaine.There are many trainers/coaches out there but not all are effective, knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. Blaine loves what he does and it is evident in the way he really listens to you, the effort he gives and specific detail he provides in his training plan. I have learned so many things in just a couple of months, to include things I had been doing wrong over the years. He understands not only physical fitness, science, proper technique, insight and foresight. He not only designs a training plan specific to his clients but he teaches you along the way. Blaine will be upfront with you about everything. He will not mislead nor misguide you in your journey. Being a coach is not just a job for Blaine it is who he is and what he does with commitment, care and he is dedicated in helping you achieve your goal.
I am not someone that trusts easily; however, I trust Blaine as my training coach and I trust his guidance and the process. If you don’t give up on yourself, Blaine won’t give up on you. I am so glad he is my coach and I have his guidance, dedication and knowledge on my journey.
