20 mins on the bike, strength training & yoga each was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed the workout. Now I am not good with names I think Miriah or Jenna not sure but she was absolutely perfect and a trainer. She was very kind and was available for me to speak to when needed. I tend to get lost a little but she redirected me. I appreciate being in the beginners session because that bike was a bit challenging for me but because of my experience I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Spenga Crew!!

Loved every minute of my experience with SPENGA (especially this location) that I signed up for a membership after my first class! I've taken over 10 classes so far: Miriah and her front desk team are always super nice and welcoming, and every instructor has been fun and motivating. There is no intimidation factor here -- everyone can work at their own level. I'm so glad to have found a workout space where I can accomplish so much in just an hour. Twenty minutes each of Spin, Strength, and Yoga means I never get bored! Looking forward to many more classes!

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying SPENGA :) I love that it forces me to stretch, which is an incredibly important part of recovery, but I always seem to skip it! So far, it’s been one of the best workout spots I’ve experienced and I’ve dabbled in a lottt of classes (orange theory, cycle bar, corepower .. just to name a few!).

Overall great workout and I think it will be a game changer to my fitness goals.
Second workout and it is everything I wanted in a workout. I feel complete after a SPENGA workout with the perfect flow of 20min Spin Strength and Yoga. the app makes it very simple to schedule a class, look up stats and cancel a class. Bikes are easy to setup. Two different instructors, both very helpful in questions on initial setup and good at flowing through the workouts. Strength is awesome with the instructors walking through the workout and then the TVs for additional guidance. Yoga is a perfect end to the workout. I was getting pinched nerves repeatedly from other fitness programs due to lack of stretching. It is definitely challenging yoga but you can take it at your pace, the instructors remind you it is your flow, and in the end I feel completely calmed after the intense workout (even though I am still sweating from the cardio & strength).
Recommendations:
Free towels would be a great improvement bc I am a mess from Spin.
Thicker yoga mats - one of the reasons I like the spin cardio is bc of my bad knees but the thin yoga mats on hard wood/vinyl floors is a bit painful.
Post the next month’s fitness schedule before the last day of the month - need to plan my week based on the workouts.

I recently up’d from 4 classes to 8 classes (I travel a lot for work) but I really love attending classes. I usually try to go on the same days I rotate roughly the same instructors: Ann, Liv, AC and Christian and I really enjoy their classes. I would 1000% return! Such a friendly, welcoming environment. I love the work out variety. It was well organized while still remaining in a group. The work out efficient, definitely not a walk in the park. It was challenging enough for me to walk out wanting more. Typically I gravitate towards weight lifting so the yoga segment was perfect for getting a good stretch.

This studio is always clean. I really enjoy AC, Emily and Natalie’s classes. They are the most engaging & friendly instructors. I’ve been going here since February. I haven’t really built a community per se it feels very solo vs group training compared to other group fitness classes I have been to in the past. Overall I enjoy it and find the schedule to be accommodating. The same day canceling fee is frustrating especially with the traffic in Charlotte and how fast the 5:30pm classes fill up.

As someone who primarily strength trains, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but SPENGA does an amazing job of blending cardio, strength, and recovery into one well-rounded workout. The spin portion really got my heart rate up, the strength section was challenging and effective, and the yoga cooldown was the perfect way to finish. It was such a refreshing change of pace, and I genuinely enjoyed trying something new.
A huge shoutout to Lorrie, our instructor, who made the experience so fun and welcoming. She brought great energy and really helped guide us through each part of the class.
If you’re looking for a new gym home in Charlotte, I 100% recommend giving SPENGA a try.

Avoid the “1 Free” Offer! It’ll Cost You Later…
I strongly advise against signing up here. A few months into my membership, I was injured and placed on workers comp with movement restrictions. I currently wear two ankle braces and a knee brace and attend weekly physical therapy. I informed Miriah about my situation after missing three sessions and was told they don't usually roll over sessions but with documentation, it might be possible. Meanwhile, I was told I could "double up" on workouts to avoid losing them. Keep in mind, this is after an injury (even if cleared, doubling up doesn’t sound wise) and I work out once a week due to a demanding schedule and travel, so that solution wasn’t realistic.
I provided the documentation as requested. After sending in everything, I was told, “We’ll see” about the three missed sessions. That vague response was frustrating, so I requested to cancel my membership altogether, instead of pausing.
I didn’t plan on getting injured, and it felt unfair that I had to fight just to keep sessions I already paid for. After requesting to cancel, I was told the three sessions could be added to the next billing cycle. However, I had already informed them, completed
the paperwork, that I’ll be out of the state and country most of the summer. They acknowledged the documentation is on file.
Now I’m being told I’ll lose seven sessions because they require a full month’s notice to cancel. When I reminded Mariah of this, she said, “If you pay today, I can add the sessions now.” Why should I have to pay again for 3 sessions I already paid for? This isn’t how professional or fair customer service should work.
All of this was handled via text message. Extremely unprofessional. I regret ever joining.

Jody was very kind and excited to teach me how to use the bike and talk to me about the personalized goals for cycling. I was able to push myself but still remain at a comfortable difficulty. Workout and instructor were good. The room was dark, which was fine. However, one girl came in late, went to the front of the room, and immediately set up her phone to record herself during class. I am relieved I wasn’t in the shot. The girl on the mat next to me repeatedly checked her phone and texted, and the bright light was distracting. This studio should have a no cell phones policy like other boutique fitness studios.

My husband and I had a great experience here for our first class!!! The customer service was wonderful starting with the check-in process and our instructor was amazing - she helped us get set up on our bikes and made sure we felt comfortable !! The team checks in with you about experience and injuries, etc. so I feel like you are really taken care of in that way, and the class structure was also explained to us so there were no surprises! The class itself was super balanced and we had a great workout, but didn’t leave feeling exhausted or too drained - instead we felt energized and healthy!! Thank you SPENGA for a great workout class :)

This was different than anything I’ve ever tried before. It didn’t feel like it was too challenging to the point where I couldn’t keep up, But I sweated so much it was actually a very nice change of pace than what I’m used to!

Spenga is the best workout! Friendly to all levels and truly got me into weight lifting. I love the bike cardio, combined with lifting then yoga to stretch out at the end! Couldn't recommend spenga enough! All the instructors are top notch, fun and, engaging!

I started out like most people do when they move to South End and joined ClassPass. After my first SPENGA class, it was automatically my favorite and I found myself back there pretty consistently so I eventually decided to cancel ClassPass and get a SPENGA membership. I’ve loved it ever since. The staff are all so lovely and the workouts are a great mix. I’ve always been bad at stretching after workouts so the yoga session at the end is such a nice touch and forces me to stretch which I find pretty unique compared to other cardio/weight studios!

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been a member on and off since 2020. The workouts are invigorating. I’m obsessed! The instructors are amazing, they are supportive, fun and knowledgeable! If you’re looking for a great workout with a very structured format that will inevitably give you results! Then please try it. Run don’t walk!

SPENGA is an incredible fitness studio! I recently took a class here, and I was blown away by the perfect balance of spin cycling, HIIT with battle ropes and kettlebells, and a calming yoga session to wrap it all up. It was my first time doing a workout like this, and Miranda made me feel so welcome and supported throughout the entire experience. Her kindness and encouragement helped me push through and really enjoy the workout.
The classmates were super friendly and created such a positive environment, which made the experience even better. I also loved how easy it was to dial up or down the intensity for each part of the workout. This made it accessible for everyone, regardless of fitness level, so no one was left behind. The studio is clean, well-organized, and has a great vibe, with upbeat music and a friendly community atmosphere. If you’re looking for a well-rounded workout and amazing instructors, SPENGA is the place to go! Thank you, Miranda, and the SPENGA team for such a memorable first experience—I’ll definitely be back!
