Studio 1-on-1 is a private, boutique, personal training studio that focuses on a holistic approach to wellness including physical, nutritional, emotional and mental. Our clientele is catered to the busy individual who has limited time but needs accountability and challenge in their workouts and lifestyle management. We offer both in-person and online coaching options.

Laura definitely stands out as an experienced and knowledgeable trainer in Charlotte, as well as a wonderful small business owner. She has put in the work with her studies, having advanced degrees and countless certifications in the health field. Equally as impressive, she is an excellent role model for all. She puts in the work at the gym and also does the self-care she recommendeds to her clients. Additionally, Laura is consistent with her health practices. She has always been! I'm so glad I get to train with her. As a health care professional myself, I appreciate all of those attributes.

Training with Laura has completely changed my body. When I started working with Laura, my goal was to become stronger. Not only did Laura increase my muscle tone, she also helped me drop body fat. Laura constantly changes up the workouts so I am never bored and keep coming back for more! I've had the great pleasure of having Laura as my trainer for over seven years. There are so many things I could say about her but what really sticks with me is 1) she motivates me to do my best and 2) she makes sure I maintain the right technique so that I don't injure myself. That is so important regardless of the age of her clients. She is the best!!

Seeing Laura at Studio 1-ON-1 twice a week has changed my life! Sometimes I work in 3 visits but 2 does the trick! I have noticed how much stronger I am. My golf game has improved and I felt incredible on my ski trip this winter. More importantly, I've been able to keep my weight off. My metabolism has completely changed by incorporating strength training into my routine. I used to just do cardio - ding dong! Why did I not start this sooner! I truly can eat more or have a cheat meal and not worry about gaining 5 lbs! It's so refreshing. Laura is so good and knows each person's body and what he/she needs. And I love the diet and food suggestions thrown in! 30 minutes goes by in a flash and I feel awesome after each session! Thank you Laura for crushing me (in a good way)!!

Laura is so great! I started with her when I wanted to get in shape for my wedding day almost 2 years ago. Laura helped me feel so strong, healthy, and confident for my big day :). I also loved that I could go work out at her gym without having to worry about lifting weights in front of a bunch of strangers - the private setting is so nice. It’s now almost 2 years later and I still love working out with Laura 2x a week. She’s helping me train for my first half marathon with my now husband in December! 10/10 recommend Laura!

Laura is an amazing trainer and I have seen tremendous progress in my physical fitness since I started working with her. She's also incredibly kind, warm, caring, and really goes above and beyond for her clients, including baking homemade healthy treats on all holidays, yum! She takes the time to understand your goals and really customizes your workouts to help you get there, supporting you and cheering you on every step of the way. I started training with Laura 4 months ago today, and I’m truly amazed with the results. Increased energy, better sleep, improved focus, less stress, and dare I say, the best shape I’ve been in for 20 years.

I've been going to 1-on-1 Fitness Studio for a number of years. I've been trained by several of the trainers and have had incredible workouts with each.
Laura has been my primary trainer. Her experience and knowledge as a trainer is exceptional. She has strengthened my core, helped me through a knee surgery, and is instrumental in my weight loss journey of -60 lbs and still going. She keeps each session challenging and fun.

The hybrid program with Laura is the best fitness tool I've ever used. I recommend this for the active individual that has a fitness base, but struggles with accountability and motivation. This program got me to the gym every day (or even my basement gym) with a program in place and no excuses to skip. Results came within 2 weeks and I feel so much more confident. I began with Laura in August 2017 and it has been a wonderful and productive relationship! I've always been hesitant to work with a personal trainer (but thought about it for years!), and I was so relieved and thrilled that my first experience with a personal trainer has been with Laura. She is exceptional knowledgeable, engaging, thoughtful about her instruction and guidance, and very creative to keep sessions interesting and motivating. Results were almost immediate (albeit 4-6 weeks in, ha!) and I have successfully maintained my goals and progress with her all this time. Laura Grace Williams, owner of Studio 1 on 1 is an outstanding trainer, business owner and fitness coach. People that live their passion and actually make it a business, are rare. She doesn't just guide you to, through, and past your fitness goals. She also has the knowledge, personal experience, and personality to motivate you. The facility offers everything you could hope for in personal training - plenty of exercise options to warm you up, get some cardio in, weight train, resistance train. And you don't have to be fit. You don't have to be in perfect health. Laura has guided me through numerous aches, pains and injuries. I teach martial arts part time. I am also in a health and wellness field. I've been training at Studio 1-on-1 once or twice a week for almost a year now with Sarah and more recently with Cindy and my experience there has been extraordinary. I had been through a period of several years not working out at all and really needed help to kick start a program to get back in shape. They tailored workouts for me from day one that really challenged me but made me want to push through it and prove to myself I could do it. I've seen incredible results, lost weight, gained muscle mass and stamina, not to mention all the comments from friends and family about my positive change.
