I'm 73 - with all that that implies (Cancer-survivor, arthritis up the ying/yang, torn rotator cuffs (plural), etcetc. All this to say I wasn't expecting much. Boy was I surprised. Danny is one of the most real, thorough, insightful instructors I've ever met. He zeroed in immediately on priorities - didn't push too much - excellent with proper technique - and just in general?? I couldn't have picked a better trainer. Neither will you if you pick "Team1Fitness"

Where do I begin? I have received an invaluable gift from Danny. I have never had the knowledge to show up at a gym and know what I'm doing before I get there. I have not had the confidence to believe I was capable of changing my mind and body. I had 6 sessions with Danny and in that time lost 9 pounds but gained so so much.. I appreciate every piece of knowledge I've been given and also, thanks for answering all my ridiculous questions and always being willing to answer them even when we weren't in session. I truly thank you for guiding me and giving me exactly what I was looking for in a trainer. I do look forward to joining in on some classes in the future! Thanks Danny, so so much.

I started lifting with Danny back in September of last year not quite knowing what to expect at the start of my weightlifting journey. I could not have expected that I was going to love it as much as I do. Danny is an amazing trainer and that's not saying enough! As a beginner I was super worried and nervous. Danny has helped show the correct way to lifting and welcomed me with opening arms. Even if he has to correct a few things constantly, you can still tell he is all about getting you stronger and feeling better. I've been sick this past week, and usually you dread going to workout. Danny is simply the best! After spending the last 3+ years pregnant/postpartum I felt like mush on a good day. I was ready to get back into fitness and found Danny. As of today, I've had 5 lessons with Danny. And, wow! I have arthritis in my hips and limited movement. After 8 months with a chiropractor, which helped some, I was tired of being in pain, and I knew that I had lost strength in my legs. So, when I came upon Danny, I decided to give him a try. After 4 lessons, I could get in the car without grimacing. After 4 lessons! It's working! And, besides that, and just as important to me, is Danny himself. However, after meeting my trainer Danny for the first time, I felt led to follow through with my commitment for my initial 12 sessions. I have know Danny and worked with him for a long time. I have a significant Spinal cord injury that makes strength training and certain exercises extremely difficult or ones I shouldn't try. Dan always understood this and had the knowledge, understanding and patience to work around these injuries and help me build strength. When I had to move to New York, I no longer could work directly with Danny and I was hopping from trainer to trainer trying to find something similar, but I always left disappointed, bored or injured.

I started remote strength training again with Danny about 6 weeks ago. I'm happy again. Dan and his team will get to know you, your history, your fears and concerns and and put something together for your specific needs. Amazing concept that works around my schedule and right in my home gym. Very happy to be back on my fitness journey with someone I trust!

I first met Danny in Raleigh where I was looking for a personal trainer who could help me achieve my fitness goals. After training with him for two years, I had to move to Seattle but I still wanted to continue training with him. Danny was able to continue training me through virtual sessions and I was really impressed with how seamless the transition was.
