I’ve done all sorts of group classes at the gym ranging from HIIT to spin to yoga so I was very curious about using the machines. It’s been several months now & I’m hooked. The machines challenge you in new ways to help build strength by working the muscles both ways & increasing difficulty based on your individual performance . It’s both efficient & effective. I love the small classes environment & that personal one on one training is also available if desired. Didn’t really know what to expect because this is so different than what I had been doing before but am so glad now that I took advantage of the opportunity to try the 2 free sessions. I’m now a dedicated & happy client!

Full disclosure: I am a coach at this location. However, I’ve been a trainer for 35 years and fully believe in and endorse this style of training for clients looking to increase strength and improve bone density. The science behind it is clear. The pricing is competitive and actually lower than my own, previous 1-on-1 pricing as a private coach.

I’ve been going to The Exercise Coach for about 6 weeks now and every week I love it even more! I can’t say enough good things about Ian and the staff in Winston Salem. They are encouraging and make you feel right at home! The workout itself is fast and efficient, and I can tell that I’m getting stronger and healthier! When recommending The Exercise Coach to friends, I suggest trying it for at least 1 month (8 workouts) to get a really good feel for the progress you can make with just 20 minutes, twice per week - seems too good to be true!

Ryan is so knowledgable and kind, and fun to work with. It became hard for me to know how hard to push myself in the gym now that im in my late forties, and the plan he set up personally for me was so helpful! i felt my strenth improve but in a safe and gradual way that made me enjoy working out. I felt a little sore, but not so much that my everyday life had to suffer like when i tried crossfit. Hes the perfect blend of tough and kind! Ryan is also very open minded and big hearted to all types of people so if youre scared go to the gym because you feel out of place there, dont worry about that, come as you are ❤️
