Good concept, but the baseball field is poorly maintained. Didn’t take or reline the fields between games. When we asked, we were told “they don’t do that between games, even the championship.” Concession stand with amusement park prices and no towels in the bathroom.

Have your tournament in Apex or Cary. Middle Creek Park was where we played yesterday. Leaps and bounds better.

Happened to walk in the Capital Sportsplex at The Factory and witnessed the owners getting in a parents face because they wanted to watch their child play in a basketball game. The owner then threatened to punch the parent in the face. The owner’s wife came over and started pushing people around and screaming at everyone. I was appalled for the gentleman to be treated so poorly for just wanting to watch his son. It was totally uncalled for to threaten physical harm. Tragically this was all done in front of children.
I will never go back due to the facility not only being filthy, they’re aggressive and absolutely unprofessional.

This is a gem of a place. I wouldn't really call it a "shopping mall" but more of a multi-use facility with three categories: sports venues (ax-throwing, gymnastics, soccer field, ice arena, virtual golf, gym), shopping (a very short list: boutique, bath/beauty, comic books, probably a few others), and eating (pizza, mexican just outside the doors)

Bored on a hot evening? Walk around and admire the very clean, easily-walkable facility, stop in to Slices and Ices for a little dessert, then see what's going on in the two ice arenas (watching is free).

Definitely a fan. I wish they had a little coffeeshop or something, but whatever, still fun place!

This is a good facility. However, a few weeks ago my son was pitching on field 5, using a portable mound. The mound turf is torn where a large majority of young pitchers land with their lead foot. This not only causes slippage, but after sliding on the mound the foot gets caught beneath the ripped turf. The first time we encountered this mound, my son complained and they replaced it. We had another tournament there the following week and were playing on field 4. Not surprisingly, the damaged mound was being used on field 4. They merely switch the mound the week before rather than reupholstering or replacing it. Every pitcher that played was having issues with it including slipping and falling. Some pitchers resorted to moving all the way over to one side of the rubber or the other. As soon as field 5 was done hosting games, the coaches complained and moved to field 5 to play. This will eventually lead to an injury if they don’t take care of this mound.
