Just moved to Charlotte and finally found a great gym with the 3rd attempt. I tried a couple of the larger gyms but I just felt like a member number or part of a herd. I've been working out for years and I've learned that I do much better when working with a trainer and that's how FS excels. I can't say enough good things about my experience thus far at the Fitness Studio. All of the trainers I have worked with have been fabulous! Since joining the beginning of 2024, I have to say I'm in the best shape of my life (taking 3 sessions a week) and that feels really good at 51. My personal trainer Kayla does a great job listening to what's going on with me each day and adjusts my workouts accordingly. Whether I'm dealing with soreness, stress, or just having an off day, she tailors the session to meet me where I'm at. Thanks to her guidance, I've definitely gained muscle and gotten significantly stronger.
What I really appreciate is the small gym atmosphere. It's a nice change from the crowded, impersonal feel of larger gyms. Here, you actually get to know people and receive personalized attention. It doesn't feel like a chore to come here - I actually look forward to my workouts.
I'd recommend this gym to anyone looking for a supportive, results-driven fitness environment.

I have been working with Chad Schlosser at The Fitness studio in Charlotte for 6 weeks and have already seen tremendous progress in my overall fitness and posture. I am a long time athlete who hasn’t done personal training or done much work on my overall body for a while. While I am fit by doing interval walking, some yoga and a little weight lifting., I was out of alignment and reluctant to lift more as it seemed to hurt my shoulders and neck.
Chad not only is an excellent trainer, he can also do what I call, myofascial release. My shoulders have released from being tight and high. My neck has elongated and overall people can notice that I look better and more vibrant.
I am 67 and people think I look much younger. Thanks Chad and The

Six years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and experienced overwhelming fatigue and joint pain. I assumed my life would become smaller and smaller as my ability to engage with life became harder. I started working out at The Fitness Studio in Piper Glen (owned & managed by the amazing Jacqueline Hawkins) well over a year ago. Was interested in building my strength back up after being down & out with a back injury for more than a year. I was on the lookout for a knowledgeable personal trainer to guide/assist me on this journey for I was inexperienced in this realm. I quickly learned that The Fitness Studio is more than just a gym. It is a community of qualified trainers that all work together for your best interest. They offer counseling in nutrition as well as a Body Maintenance modality (PNF Stretching & Fascia Bodywork) with the talented Chad Schlosser. Most recently I have been working with Caleb. His approach is to start with an assessment of where you are physically, and he takes the time to discuss your health goals with you. After this, Caleb puts together a program that specifically focuses on the areas you most need to improve upon. He puts you at ease no matter what level you’re at physically when getting started with him. I greatly appreciate his knowledge, patience and his kind nature. AND, I’m VERY happy with the results. I started using TFS about 6 months prior to my knee replacement surgery, Chad was my PT and I couldn’t ask for a better experience!
He helped me reduce my bmi while strengthening my leg muscles.
He also specialized in body work and this was instrumental in my recovery from surgery, my therapist and Dr. were amazed at the speed and ease of my post op recovery.
I credit Chad for putting me in the possible condition for a successful outcome.

Chad has helped me tremendously in my flexibility and overall feeling of better health. I worked almost exclusively with Kayla both in groups and individually. You are pushed as much as u need to be pushed. I lost and kept weight off as I worked out with her- I know I would have lost more if a followed a more strict diet but I just aimed to be more intuitive while eating and exercising constantly and getting stronger. Even taking 2-3 week break from working out- I did not gain weight. I trust her to work with your body and your abilities to the fullest extent. I would definitely recommend her.

I've seen plenty of physical therapists and have had MAT work over the years...DON'T SKIP THE BODY WORK! It's totally worth it to keep your joints healthy and Chad knows what he's doing. The 3D body scan is a great tool to give you a fitness baseline and track your goals. Definitely a motivator for me to see what a few months off from a hip injury produced! This is a great studio and I highly recommend.

My fitness trainer Chad is very knowledgeable, professional and encouraging. He takes the time to ensure I am using correct form to not only avoid injuries, but to get the most out of my workout. I was also very impressed with the technology of the 3D scanner and it’s accuracy. I am excited to use it to track my progress!

Jackie is on the ball, Kayla my fitness trainer pushes you to meet your goals with proper form, motivation, and nutrition. She takes the time to know what your goals are and holds you accountable. I highly recommend Kayla.
