Our mission is to help both athletes and adults reach their fitness goals. Whether they are competitive athletes at any level, or working adults we want to help mold them into better versions of themselves. Giving them the tools they need to train safely and effectively, and tapping into the potential they have within them is always our goal for anyone who walks through our doors. Healthy lifestyles go beyond the weightroom and creating an atmosphere where growth in a positive direction is being made is our hope.

We came to Strength Feed on the recommendation of several people including my son’s HS lacrosse coach. Their work with him has been amazing to watch. This is a fantastic gym! I'm a 40 year old male and have been taking classes there for about a year and all their coaches do a great job. They check in when you haven't come by in a while and one time they even paused my account - without me even having to ask - because I had not been in. One of the best gyms I have ever been to, these people care about you and put everything they have into making you the best version you can possibly be. I have been working out here for a little over 6 months and my speed and strength have improved drastically. They have built a community where people want to come and push each other to be the best. My oldest son decided it was time to start getting serious about his training for football but the problem was, where do we go? My daughter has been training with Abbey at Strength Feed for 4 months now - she is so supportive and Abbey has truly made a safe space to learn and grow. The environment with the trainers is supportive but also pushes her to make gains and improve. She's making great gains in strength and speed that are paying off on the ice (hockey player). As a parent, it's comforting to know she's in the care of trainers that are knowledgeable as well as look out for her in each session. I also really like how easy the booking platform is - it makes keeping up with all the crazy schedules much easier! The group girls classes are small enough for individualized attention but flexible around changing commitments. Now I just need to get my schedule at work lighter so I can come!

Kelly Murphy is an exceptional coach with an extensive background in Human Performance and Nutrition. I trained with Coach Murphy as a soccer and lacrosse player at Barton College, and now I currently serve as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at William Peace University. Throughout my experiences with her as my coach and now colleague, she is not only excellent at her job, but she is also an incredible individual. If you are looking for someone who will help you or your child reach the next level when it comes to your fitness goals there is no one better than Kelly Murphy.

Many of my athletes go home to the RDU area during winter and summer break and I encourage these students to train with Coach Murphy. This year, we had an athlete returning from an ACL tear who worked with Kelly all summer. I have seen significant changes in both her physical strength and her mental well being. She has made major improvements with her vertical and landing mechanics and is much more confident in her abilities returning from such a serious injury. She has expressed to me numerous times what a great experience she had working with Kelly this past summer and that she would not be where she is now without her help.

I found Strength Feed when I stumbled upon looking for a new gym for myself last summer as I was looking for place with better equipment than box gyms. I hadn’t made an appointment to tour but was warmly welcomed by one of the clients. They raved about each of the instructors and showed me the plentiful strength training facilities.

I was recommended to the Strength Feed by a friend after discussing the challenges of staying in good physical shape after hitting the 40 year mark. I was involved in sports and still felt active, but was starting to see a loss of flexibility, strength, and overall physical shape. After just a couple months of working out with the group Adult Performance Class, I've already felt a huge boost in energy, mobility, and day to day quality of life.

The entire coaching team are incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and motivating which make the hard workouts something to look forward to. Shout out to Coach Abbey and the 6AM class for getting going early and still managing to have fun and show support for each other that early in the day! Would fully recommend the Strength Feed if you're looking to improve your overall conditioning or having trouble staying motivated in a typical gym environment.

This place is great. I was an athletic freak in my younger years but time had caught up with me. My 40 year old body was a far cry from what it was. Aches and pains were becoming more and more regular and I had begun to accept them as a fact of life.

I can honestly say that Coach Joe and Coach Abbey have made movement fun for me again. I’ve been a Strength Feed client for about 4 years now and they’ve always put my health and well-being first.

Am I the bronzed Adonis of my youth? No. But I’m stronger than I’ve ever been and I feel fantastic every morning when I get out of bed. And, if I’m being honest, I’m a little less hesitant to pop my shirt off when I’m out for a run. For an old timer like me, that’s all I can ask for.
