The gym is great! I was looking for a 24/7 gym when moving back to the area after several years away and was happy to find The Weight Room. The facility is clean, well kept, and has brand new equipment. The outdoor training area is a nice addition.

Great weightlifting gym close to home. Very clean and safe, with all new Fettle equipment; machines, barbells, dumbbells. 2 treadmills, an elliptical, assault bike, rower and ski-erg. Also an outdoor area with CrossFit options. I have a home powerflifting gym so this place is wonderful for me when my coach programs machines or cardio. It’s like an extension of my home gym. The people are invariably friendly, nice to be around and respectful of everyone’s space. The owner is a medical professional who obviously practices what he preaches fitness wise and uses the gym himself regularly. He’s friendly and attentive to members’ needs.
This place is a wonderful addition to downtown Elkin.

Got a membership here when it first opened . Great Gym , has a outdoor workout area as well . Management is really good . Would recommend this gym ,

Great weightlifting gym in Elkin with everything you need for a complete workout (and the equipment is all brand new). We workout here when visiting from out of town, and the owner has always accommodated us with daily or weekly passes.

The first order of business any time I travel is to determine what gym I’ll be working out in. Grateful for the people at The Weight Room who allowed me to purchase a day pass to workout in their facility during my weekend stay. The facility was immaculate. And the workout was easily one of the highlights of my trip!

I love having a 24/7 gym in Elkin! The owner is is very nice, the gym is well maintained, and I feel safe no matter what time of day I go because of all the security features. One free water per visit is also a nice gesture, I hate having to drive back home because I forgot my cup.

The only 24/7 gym in the Yadkin Valley, and it's evident the owner is really health- and client-focused. It's all brand-new Fettle equipment (not a common perk in gyms). They recently hired a personal trainer as well.
