I first hired Taylor as my trainer not long after she founded TK Training & Wellness. Now, I'm working with John. My experience working with both trainers has been overwhelmingly positive. I sought to work with Taylor after experiencing serious back pain (bulging disc), and wanting to work out again, but wanting to do so safely. When I started training with John, I was experiencing shoulder pain from a minor injury I'd self-inflicted at a different gym. I've seen positive results after each period of training with them-- pain decreasing, strength increasing. I have also booked a Thai massage with Taylor, which was the best massage I've ever had. My favorite thing about Taylor is how thorough she is. You can tell how important her clients are to her. My favorite thing about John is how encouraging he is. I respond really well to encouragement.

Taylor and John are very helpful and work with you (where you are at in your fitness journey). John has helped me to regain strength and balance. Workouts are actually fun again because they are not so complicated that you can’t achieve ! I have enjoyed my sessions look forward to them now!

After three leg surgeries in three years: torn Achilles, torn meniscus, and total hip replacement, I still walked with a limp and had trouble getting up from a seated position. I had pretty much given up on ever getting back to any sort of normal life. I have been seeing Taylor since February, and the difference she has made in my strength and balance is amazing. I can get up from a seat without pushing off with my hands. I can step up without needing a handrail. These sound like simple things, but I have been unable to do them for more than three years!
Taylor is aware of my physical and mental limitations. She gives me the gentle nudge to overcome them. Other trainers I have had did not take the time to get to know me, and I did not find the same level of success with them. I am having total knee replacement this spring. Taylor is working with me to strengthen the muscles around the knee in hopes I will make a quicker recovery. I see myself continuing to work with Taylor even after I return to my former level of fitness. Her belief that all of us can achieve wellness no matter our age or beginning fitness level has made me believe I can recover and be as active as I want to be as I get older.

I'm 52 years old, and have been working on losing weight via diet and exercise. In order for my exercise to be more effective, I needed to build up my strength. I didn't want to just go to a gym because I wouldn't know if I was doing things correctly or areas to focus on. My wife was using TK Training to help her with similar issues, and really liked her so I started there as well. Taylor is very knowledgeable, and has been excellent in guiding me with strength training. I started with her in October, and in December, I've already noticed huge improvements in my mobility, balance, and strength. I highly recommend her to anyone!
