Village Yoga is the absolute best! Iβve been taking classes with Bee since she taught in NYC and was thrilled to see she is teaching here in Duck. The studio is clean, bright and peaceful. Canβt wait to come back for another class!

We had a private beach session with Jen and could not be more happy with her instruction. Jen knew our group's yoga abilities and provided a session we all enjoyed! Being able to have our session on the beach was an extra plus! Thanks, Jen and Village Yoga!π§π»ββοΈ

I did a private beach lesson with Bee while vacationing in OBX, and it was the best part of my trip! Practicing yoga in the sun, on the sand was such an incredible experience! Bee catered to my both my needs, and my boyfriend's (it was his first yoga class!). I highly recommend practicing with Bee and Village Yoga!

My friends and I are visiting this week for spring break and we wanted to do a yoga class, but wanted to go in person to make sure all 5 of us could get a spot. When we walked in Denise immediately shooed us out the door telling us to leave. I then proceeded to ask if there was any way she could check to see if there were enough spots for us all to take a class and she then said, βhoney I canβt right now, go on our website. Iβll be done in like 2 hours.β We had never felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable. Sad to say we wonβt be coming back ever.

I'm in town this week on vacation with family and went to get my yoga fix this morning from Emily (sub) at the Monday 8am Rise and Shine yoga session, my first visit to Village Yoga. What an absolute treat - Emily's guidance, direction, voice, class, and combinations were just lovely and so expertly/soothingly delivered.
I came in a bit sore from some recent workouts, and the class was just the thing I needed to gently stretch and open my body back up. Thank you so much for the wonderful class and I look forward to getting in for more before I leave!

I can't say enough good things about Village Yoga. As a beginner, my classes were great, the instructors fantastic. Carole and Denise were able to provide modifications as needed.
I also had a Reiki session with Janine. Run, don't walk for a transformative experience.

I have loved each visit so far! The teachers are super down to earth and welcoming. The location is beautiful and a really nice addition to downtown Manteo. And even though Iβve been to the same classes they have always been varied and not just the same flow every time. Will definitely be making regular visits part of my practice π

& now I love yoga! So happy this little gem of a studio opened in Manteo. The studio offers an amazing view and the instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. I am brand new to yoga and not once did I feel uncomfortable or out of place. They offer a variety of classes and times to fit most anyoneβs schedule. Prices are fantastic as well. Drop in for a class and check it out for yourself! You definitely will not regret it. Classes I have attended have had a range of ages, and difficulty levels and both men and women have been in attendance. Hope you see you there!

I have never done yoga but was excited to see the Village Yoga location open in February and offer me an opportunity to try it. All of the instructors have been very helpful and encouraging, and I am so glad that we have a studio in Manteo in such a beautiful and tranquil setting. Thanks Charlee for opening this studio and offering me this opportunity in such a warm and inviting environment.

I love visiting Duck Village Yoga whenever I'm in OBX. In fact, it defines by OBX experience. I LOVE starting each vacation day on my mat with the lovely instructors at Duck Village Yoga. I've taken classes from most every instructor now and find each of them to be extremely knowledgeable and experienced, as well as kind and open. Plus, during COVID, they have socially distanced, outdoor classes (feels so good to be practicing in the presence of other humans again) and virtual classes. If you're in OBX, it's totally worth checking out!

Multi-year practitioner-Took the 10:00AM basic yoga and set the day right. Enough of a stretch and meditation for the day of beach and activities. Charlee (instructor) is very proficient in the art. The studio's ambiance is immersive and peaceful. Will be back next time in the Outer Banks!

Love love loved my vacation week at Village Yoga in Duck 01/01/17 - 01/06/17!! I went to 1-2 classes each day and all of the instructors were awesome, each one gave options to deepen your postures if you wanted to and they were easy to follow. I enjoyed every minute of each class, to include a Nidra practice that was fascinating!! Michelle

This studio is amazing! Village Yoga offers a serene environment where all levels of yoga are practiced and students are free to cultivate a personal experience each time they enter the space. It is great that the studio is open year-round to the local community to keep their yoga needs met! Additionally, the studio amplifies their schedule and special yoga offerings in and around the community once the season starts to pick up. There are so many workshops, private options, and in studio classes to choose from that all abilities and age ranges of students can find happiness on their mat. So glad to have Village Yoga servicing the yoga needs of people on the Outer Banks!

If you are in vacation in OBX this is the studio for you. Jess and Katie have created a calming and relaxing studio oasis. All levels are welcome from a first timer to a yogi devotee. There are plenty of classes in the morning (3-4) and at least one at night. The majority length is an hour. It's a deal as a class is $15 or $55 for the week. Amenities include any prop you may want as well as a water cooler.
Why 4 stars and not 5? In the 5 classes I took i did not see one adjustment by the teacher.
