Not only are they lucky to get my business in the first place, because planet fitness was not 24 hours at the time I signed up in Greensboro, but they are totally inattentive to anything other than getting their money from customers. At least that is my impression. Because I moved away from the area and called on multiple occasions to cancel my membership. I currently live in Charlotte NC and made two special trips to Greensboro just to talk to someone in person to get them to cancel the memberships. They said it would be handled. Well, I canceled the debit card on file so apparently they haven’t been paid and today I get a call from a collection agency that I owe them almost 200 dollars and they have affected my credit due to their neglegence. Never again.

Worst gym in Greensboro. Old broken worn out equipment, tiny crowded space. I had to cancel my membership twice in person to stop getting charged. Instead of just making it right when I called them out on still charging me, the regional manager Mike had to argue with me over $30 and have me cancel it again.

Gyms all have the same things for the most part, but what usually sets a gym apart from the rest the customer service. Holland and Mike set the standard for customer service even while managing the swinging door of customers on a busy Saturday. They ensured to greet people as they entered and sent them off properly as they left the building. I'm glad to make this my new gym home.

Workout Anytime is a gem in the city of Greensboro. The first time I came in I was a little nervous, they set me at ease. They were friendly and helpful. They answered my questions which made signing up a breeze. Next, they set me up with a personal trainer named Brittany. Brittany was very welcoming and a wealth of knowledge on how I can get in better physical health. She did a body scan at the gym that showed me my body mass, bone density and muscle mass. This was amazing technology! It was very high tech and informative. Brittany showed me the equipment and has me set on a routine that will meet my goals at a safe pace. I am excited about my new journey at Workout Anytime!
Six months later after joining,

The staff is still always informative, friendly and helpful. Specially Brittney, because she has motivated me to stay on my exercise journey. The gym is always spotless and smells clean. I feel safety in the cleanliness of the equipment. Plenty of equipment too get a variety of work outs for different parts of my body. It is a joy to come at Workout Anytime to workout. I leave feeling that I have achieved a good workout. I love the convenience of the location from my employment.

I've had memberships at different gyms for the last 40+ years from New York to Florida, and none of them were as friendly or convenient as Workout Anytime in Greensboro. The facility is clean and has lots of cardio, upper body and leg machines. I was able to return after 3 months of medical rehab from a bad fall and the staff even offered to assist me through my workouts if I needed help!

I moved back in 2022. Before I did I called to cancel my membership. Was told I needed to do it in person. So I took an entire day to drive back up to do this. After visiting the store and given the run around about were the manager was. I was told I needed to submit in writing. So that's what I did. Hand delivered and mailed (with USPS receipt) to the store. 2 months later, still being charged. I have called this store to speak with the manager. They either never work or simple dodging calls. I have sent corporate emails and message too. Nothing! 2 years later and countless attempts to get this done and still being charged. I am getting legal involved at this point because it is ridiculous that this is taking this long and the process is this difficult.

I can tell you first hand that people make the business, not the business. My first person of contact was Brit and she was amazing at making me feel at home and comfortable without any strange feeling that some places give off. Brittany is always there to greet you with a smile. If a piece of equipment is dirty, broken, or just not working well not only does she jump up to help but she will personally fix it, toolbox in hand. Brittay is a problem solver, not a notetaker. I haven’t been in 6 months so I stopped paying them but today I got a call from a lawyers office saying that I have a charge off balances from this little dusty gym I haven’t been to in several months. It's a decent gym for the price. I never had any problems until I decided to cancel my membership. I filled out the cancellation form on Memorial Day, but they're still charging my account in August. The front desk didn't have an explanation for why I'm still being charged and said the manager would take care of it. It's a decent gym until you decide to cancel your membership and go somewhere else.

He detailed where he saw areas that needed improvement and hooked me up with Ms. Mary - Lou as my trainer. Let me say that I do not have enough or the adequate words for what Ms. Mary - Lou has done for me in the weeks since then! Ms. Mary - Lou is always on top of her game when it comes to training me! She has taken me from hitting a brick wall in my fitness journey to looking better than I have all of my life! She is always professional, attentive, and accommodating to my needs, wants, and desires as it relates to my fitness journey. I enjoyed going to this facility up until Covid hit. Obviously the gym was unsafe to visit and trying to discontinue my membership has been a nightmare. The only option that I had was to mail a letter with my cancellation request, which I did 06/2020. I have recently discovered that I continued to be billed for days/months that I could not return (by law) and they have now engaged in threat tactics to get me to pay more money. I'm very disappointed that this is how they treat their customers during a time when compassion and understanding is needed most.
