I recently joined Workout Anytime in Rolesville and it’s honestly been an awesome experience so far. The gym is clean, the vibe is great, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The 1-on-1 training they’ve offered me has really made a difference too.

If you join, I definitely recommend doing the Success Session. It really helps you get clear on your goals and what you want to work toward. Overall, just a great gym with great people.

Can’t review what’s in the gym. Called to come in and view the gym couple days before. Came during “staffed hours” except no one was here and door is locked. Other members that came out said guy comes and opens gym and leaves. Consensus was it’s not run the way it should be. That was 4 memberships from my family they will be missing out on.

I trained here for 12 weeks while on a clinical rotation in Wake Forest and had an awesome experience. The gym is always clean, has everything you need, and the equipment is in great shape. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it easy to stay consistent with my workouts. This location is the best in the area. Very clean, friendly management and staff. The premium membership is comparable to other 24 hr gyms (like PF). You get a cryo lounger, massage chairs, red light, sauna, tanning. They have everything you need to workout and lift. No classes but literally everything else you need. Highly recommend.

This Workout Anytime is by far the nicest location I’ve been to. I joined this gym because it provides me with all the equipment / amenities I need at an affordable price. However, this specific Workout Anytime is super clean, spacious, and the staff were super accommodating. They even have theraguns to massage out knots and sore muscles after your workout. Enjoy the community feel of the gym. They have a new manager, that seems like they are trying. But, there is so many issues. The doors are constantly not working, happened again this morning where you can’t get in when it’s not staffed. This happens about once a week at this point. The gym is not cleaned by a professional crew. There is constantly no toilet paper in the bathroom. The gym in not staffed until 9am. Little things just add up, and it’s been like this for over a year.

The gym itself is solid but they need to do something about the door locking mechanism and training their staff properly/management. For 6 months I had to be let in the door because there was a duplicate account with my email that they were supposed to delete. To do something as simple as deleting this old account required a manager and after calling/going in to the gym 5+ times to talk to staff and being told "I'll call the manager today" by 5 different employees they finally got a regional manager on the phone to fix it. Even then, the door will randomly not work for anyone, like today (this is a known issue ever since it opened). This review is not meant to bash the location but to fuel improvement before they lose their clientele.

I love this gym when it’s on point. It’s incredibly convenient for my schedule and route to work. I’m an early morning goer so maybe tat has something to do with some of my complaints but:
1) theres rarely ever toilet paper in the men’s bathroom. Which is a problem when you’re at the gym before staff members even come in. 2) the doors rarely work for people. Many of us have to let other regulars in on the regular because the door will refuse to unlock regardless if they’re using their keychain barcode or their app qr code. None of us were able to get into the gym on Friday 5/23. Door was locked for everyone and we pay for “anytime” so it was very frustrating for a day of training to be interrupted by this. Doors need to be fixed. Quite honestly no excuse for that.
3) there’s no consistency if there’s music playing, some radio talk show, or complete silence. It’s mostly silence so if you’re working out in the morning bring headphones. I suppose it’s a minor nitpick but the inconsistency is confusing.

Other than that, I love this gym. But these kind of things can really make people wonder about other gyms who can operate more consistently at similar pricing. I pay decently and not having TP or being able to get into the gym makes me ponder cheating on Workout Anytime with another gym.

Rarely ever review, but this place needs to pay closer attention to the basics. There are always roaches. Some areas are never cleaned and accumulated a ton of dust and dirt. Finally, they need to have working and filled paper towel dispensers and spray bottles that are maintained and filled. That said, I still enjoy going to this gym. It's very convenient, never too busy, and has all the equipment I'm looking for. There's just a few items that need to be addressed.

I've been in bigger and more high end clubs, for what I pay for at WOA I feel thus is a new home for me. I feel it is priced just right for what I need in a health club. Members are awesome and respectful, everyone wioea down their equipment after wcery use. The staff are social but needs work at greeting members when they walk in, most of the time they are on their cell phones not acknowledging members as they walk in.

This gym advertises 24/7 access, but in reality, that’s not always the case. The entrance door has been malfunctioning for months, and during unstaffed hours, it’s a gamble whether you’ll actually be able to get in. You never know if you’ll be locked out after driving all the way there

The women’s restroom has also been out of order since January—it’s now April with no signs of repair. On top of that, basic supplies like toilet paper are often missing, which is unacceptable for a gym that members pay for monthly.

Due to these ongoing issues, we decided to cancel our membership. However, only the manager could process cancellations. When we finally reached him, he convinced us to stay by offering a lower rate to compensate for the problems—only to continue charging us the full price. Now, after a month of calling and asking the staff to follow up, we’re still being billed the original price not the one the manager supposedly changed us to.

I unfortunately have to bring my review down from 5 stars when the place opened to just three. While I still think this gym may be better than something like a Planet Fitness, there are just some inexcusable problems with this one. The front door can be really wonky and can be a major turnoff for those that workout during unstaffed hours. The other thing is the DISGUSTING amount of dust around the place. Are you serious? Zero reason you cant spend 1 minute to get the dust from under something like a weight rack. As someone that cleans for a living, I rarely see this amount of dust in someone’s house, let alone a public area. It’s a joke.

After unsuccessfully attempting to cancel my membership online, as the system would not allow me to do so, I called multiple times to speak with the staff. However, they informed me that only the manager could process cancellations. Unfortunately, I was never able to reach him by phone. I visited in person multiple times until I was finally able to speak directly with the manager in August 2024. He assured me that he had submitted a request to cancel my membership.

Two days later, I followed up in person, and he once again assured me that my membership had been canceled. However, seven months later, I realized I’ve been charged every month, indicating that my membership is in fact, not canceled.

While I understand that network systems may need resets from time to time, the frequency of this issue suggests a larger problem that still has not been fully resolved.

As for the cleaning supplies, I’m glad to hear they’ve been restocked, but the lack of them has also been a recurring issue. I sincerely hope that moving forward, these concerns will be consistently addressed.

I will be happy to update my review once I see sustained improvements, but as of now, my experience remains the same.

I have to rave about Andy, the newest employee. He has great work ethics. He is the only employee I ever see vaccuuming, emptying trash bins, cleaning the rims of the trash bins, filling the cleaning spray and restocking the paper towels. And he is personal presentation is professional.

Since the opening of this gym their has been a decline in cleanliness. shape of equipment and keeping cleaning supplies stocked. Due to the cleaning supplies not being stocked, people rarely wipe down equipment. Many of us have been sick, multiple times, which we believe is as a result of lack of wiping down equipment. Only commonality with is is the gym. The dirt in the middle of the big machines in the back part of the gym is disgusting....does not represent health. Their is equipment that has ripped leatherette or pieces that need tightened. With Anytime fitness coming in down the road, you need to address these thing or you will lose clients. I love this gym and the people, but improvements need to be made.

Lastly, I know the pay scale is not great at your gym, as my son worked there. You need to keep people like Andy, so invest in your gym by investing in employees like Andy. He represents your gym extremely well. You need more Andy's!!!! Andy deserves a 5 star, but I am giving a 4 because of the other issues...should be lower, but Andy is saving y'all from lower stars. Give that kid a raise, cause he deserves it....and turn over is way too high! He is a keeper.

Decided this place wasn’t for me and tried to cancel back in January. After countless phone calls, they finally “paused” my automatic payments, claiming it would cancel my membership. Automatic payments just restarted this week, 3 months later. I haven’t been to this gym since December and it’s now May. All correspondences are basically “you need to talk to a manager, but they’re not here and I don’t know their schedule.” Do not sign up for this garbage gym.

Update 11/11/24: It took my credit card expiring to finally cut ties with this gym, but my girlfriend — who's been trying to cancel as long as I have (since Jan 2024) — is STILL getting billed. Sometimes it pauses, then it starts right up again. It's just incomprehensible how much of a scam this gym is.

If you sign up here be sure you want to be there forever. We needed to leave the gym, and they charged us again anyway. We let that go, but a few months later we were being charged again. Don't bother leaving a message for anyone or schedule an appointment, they don't respond. We finally reached someone in GA at the main office and heard promises of refunds and nothing happened. We have go e to the attorney general and they sent a letter. Still nothing. So far. If I have to take them to court I am going to be getting much more than my money back. This place will take your money and make false promises, but will not run a reputable business.

I'm posting this review in the hopes some major issues will be addressed. This gym has the potential to be nice but it seems no one cares enough to make it so. The facility is constantly filthy: dust is accumulated under equipment & along floor edges, the floors always need vacuuming, and the mirrors appear to never be appropriately cleaned. The cleaning sprays for members to wipe equipment are always empty - not that this matters when the paper towel dispensers are also always empty or broken. So the equipment is also not being cleaned. I would notify an employee, but there is never anyone there working. To fake a clean smell, some air freshening perfume is pumped into the workout space - lately too much, triggering asthmatic coughing. After weeks, I finally ran into an employee I could complain to about the smell; there was no corrective action taken. There is a nice selection of equipment, but it is starting to break down without repair. Additionally, the VIP perks paid for have frequently been broken. To top it off, people without memberships walk in for free all the time. Since no one is ever working the front desk, I frequently witness adults and teens waiting outside the door. All it takes is someone exiting - to get through the locked door and workout for free.
(Should my concerns be addressed, I will happily update my review. Until then, know this is the current state of things.)

I canceled our account in October 2023. I understood I would be billed in November. However in December, WOA billed my credit card. I called the Rolesville office and spoke to them. They acknowledged my cancellation and said there would be no more charges, but I paid December. We'd just moved and had a million things going on. I was assured everything was straight and my account was closed with WOA. In May 2024, they charged my credit card $50.98. (No charges January, February, March, April). I called them. I told them this was appearing very shady and I would post a review if it happened again, but let it go after receiving a credit. It is now October and I see another charge for $50.98. (No charges in June, July, August, September). I called the Rolesville location. They said they see my account as canceled and don't know why they charged my credit card in October. I was told to expect a credit in 4-5 days. I have blocked this merchant on my credit card and will continue to monitor. BEWARE.

Don’t waste your time! Feels like such a scam and waste of money! We were convinced by the owner in November to sign up for $1 and that we could cancel anytime at no charge so my husband and I signed up. I then found out I was pregnant and my husband went up to cancel my membership, it took him 3 separate occasions to get it cancelled and they always said they would refund us and never did so we got charged for two memberships for months after and when they said they were going to refund us they never did. When they finally cancelled my membership 3 months later they then charged us a hefty cancellation fee. We were so fed up that then my husband went to cancel his membership as well not only did they say they would the 5 separate times he called and went up to the gym he also signed a cancellation contract and they still failed to cancel our memberships and continued to charge us for membership and club fees up to this day. Not only did multiple staff members claim they would refund us for all of this ( which we never saw a penny of) but also the manager that we were told needed to be there to talk to was conveniently never there and you were sadly mistaken if you thought you could ever get in to contact with the owner. We finally went to our bank today to block them from charging our accounts any longer! Don’t trust their word and don’t waste your time.

Starting at May 6th I have made 4 in person attempts to cancel my membership with this this shady business that has ripped off countless others simply look at any reviews for them and their other location in Wake Forest. In person I sat down with the General Manager May 6th at 12:45pm to cancel the membership since it was in good standing and had been fulfilled and was now a month to month plan. I was told it was taken care of and I would receive email confirmation in a a few business days. Three weeks later I still have received no notification and returned in person to speak to the GM or Owner and was told they were the only ones who could help me. After being billed again I delivered in person a notice of cancelation signed, dated and clear of my desire to cancel my membership effective immediately. On June 26th I was billed again and spent nearly a hour on the phone with corporate offices and the billing company ABC which informed me that there was no note on the account it had been canceled and billing would continue. I forwarded a scanned copy of the formal cancelation i had delivered in person and they told me they would escalate it to the local club for cancelation. I was charged again for July and again contacted corporate and the billing company ABC both which told me it had to be handled by the local club that they could not cancel it. I have spent 4 months, countless hours of my time, multiple in person visits to cancel the membership and they continue to bill me. I have already contacted my bank and had to pay to put ACH block for this ongoing fraudulent activity on my account. Then today they some how charged my credit card which I never provided to them and I would like to know exactly how they have access to that. I seek a resolution in the form of 4 months billing, my banking ACH block fee and restitution for loss wages in handling this matter.

They have been charging my credit catd although I never became a member. I am still trying to stop a membership that I never started. I can't reach a person who can correct the problem. I went to the club and explained the issue multiple times. Thay always say " manager is not here, we told him the problem. He will look into it." And then nothing happens. The manager never reached out to me. He just ignores me.

This is the first 1 star review I’ve ever left. You shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to cancel a membership. I walked in to the gym to cancel as I’m preparing to move.

I was told all cancellations are done through the app or online. I thought it was strange that I couldn’t cancel at the gym in person. Tried multiple times to cancel through both and I keep getting an error and I’m unable to cancel my membership.

I called the gym and was told the manager would call me. Never received a call if you can believe that.

To this day my membership is still active. I’ll take down this review once there’s a resolution, but for now there are no steps being taken to assist. Multiple people on Reddit are having similar experiences and I intend on escalating this further.

It should be as simple as “Hi I would like to cancel my membership as I’m about to move” “Ok we will cancel your membership”.

I’m not sure how long it’s been here but you would think they would clean the place. It’s dirty, dusty and just nasty. Post Covid most gyms really do a good job keeping everything clean. The machines are so dirty people have written clean me on them. I expected better in Rolesville

This is the best gym you can find in the area. Not only are the weight lifting equipment/machines new and well maintained, the recovery equipment is top tier. In terms of pricing you will not find a better gym in this area. Bruce, Peyton, and Devin were extremely helpful in giving me a tour and getting me signed up. I recommend everybody to make the change and come to Workout Anytime Rolesville!

Well, I was a member of the Lake Wheeler location and long story short I signed up for personal training and my trainer suddenly left leaving me training with the owner. I adored her as a person, but she was often late or cancelled altogether. Eventually I took on a new position at work and needed to cancel the training because I didn’t have time anymore and I had completed my contract so I asked her if I could cancel
It and she said, sure no problem. At first, we froze it though, but it didn’t work out for me to be able to get in. She agreed to cancel, but after a month, I was charged another $300. I reached out and she apologized and said it was canceled, and then it would happen again. Let’s say after $1200 I got tired of being charged for something that should have been canceled and canceled my card per
The advice of my bank. I went to the BBB and after multiple conversations, Workout Anytime agreed to mail me a check. After 8 weeks I never got it. So tonight, I reached out to the owner and instead of being apologetic she attacked me for being in recovery for alcoholism and essentially mocked me. My recovery has nothing to do with the membership. I’m proud to be 90 days sober. Sad thing is I confided in her and she then confided in me that she had been through recovery herself. But when I confront her that she owes me the money that was promised through the BBB, she made fun of me. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from these people. Read the reviews for the Lake WheelerRoad location and you’ll see this is a pattern for them.

I don’t recommend this Gym. I was a member of this club and canceled my membership since it was never clean. The Sauna was always dirty.
The Matrix equipment is nice but LA Fitness has the same brand of equipment, a lot more of it and it’s clean.

I just went back today to see if I would like to resign since it is so much closer to me. I was greeted by a young lady on the phone. She said she needs to let her manager know I’m in the building after I asked for a tour. The manager insisted on a guided tour after I said I would sign the waiver but do not need someone with me.
He proceeded to say “ you can come back when you want a tour”. I hope the owner knows they are letting money just walk right out of the door.
Very unprofessional crew that made the interaction very awkward and confrontational.
Not the vibes that make me want to ever go back.

Better Business Bureau Alert:

I strongly advise against conducting business with this company. My experience from start to finish – from the initial offerings and sign-up promotions filled with discrepancies regarding a supposed $1 sign-up fee, to personal challenges in attending due to family and work commitments – has been fraught with pervasive dishonesty.

Despite a recent agreement to lower my membership cost by $10 in an effort to accommodate another month's attempt at integrating gym visits into my schedule, they attempted to impose a $50 cancellation fee today. I specifically recall inquiring about such fees at the time of contract signing and was misled. Their actions today have confirmed my overall concerns in doing business with their company at all ever.

I urge caution if considering this company. This franchise is riddled with red flags, not least of which is the culture it promotes among its staff. While the gym's equipment may seem adequate and plentiful for a new establishment, be aware that opting for premium upgrades may entail dealing with broken or complex equipment activation processes, which I found impossible to use.

I came here to avoid the overcrowding at my previous gym. Jay, a front desk employee, was awesome. He assisted me with getting set up with the app for easy check ins and gave me a tour of the facility.
