Since moving to the Charlotte area I have had some pretty sorry experiences as far as Gyms go: scammy contracts, sales pitches, terrible equipment, etc. So the thought of signing up at another gym was not something I was really looking forward to. But, I am the kind of person who needs a gym to stay motivated, so signing up at another gym was inevitable.

I know it's weird to compare a gym to Olive Garden, but you know their slogan: "When you're here, you're family!"...pretty sure World Gym should adapt that motto. From the first welcoming smiling at the front door, I knew this would be the gym for me. Melissa at the front desk is amazing, and always greats you with a warm welcome. It's so motivating to go to a gym when you have someone always there to say "Hello" to.

My husband and I signed up for their "A.P.E Fit" program. The monthly price is fantastic, no contracts, and the program itself is incredible. The personal trainers are very knowledgeable, and extremely motivating! Even on the days I don't go to the gym, and am just running on my own, I hear their voices in my head, "FINISH STRONG!", and it motivates me to push through it! You know they are great trainers when they motivate you even without being there.

Even without the A.P.E Fit program, the facilities themselves are great. The equipment is new and clean, the building is large with adequate space for stretching. They offer many different classes and childcare.

I couldn't be happier with my ongoing experience at World Gym!

Perfect gym if you are looking for options to improve cardio and strength. Simply a great place to get fit or stay fit. Friendly staff who know what they are doing. Right price, convenient hours. Not fancy, just effective. And an owner that has earned my respect.

Great gym, nice place to work out!! All bran new equipment, gym is has a large free weight room in the back of the building. I would recommend this gym! Great, people too.
