I’ve been attending Yoga Inspired for the past 2½ months, and as someone new to yoga, I couldn’t have found a better place to start. Jess Fass and her staff are excellent instructors who create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that makes everyone feel comfortable, regardless of experience level.
The studio offers a great variety of classes throughout the day, evenings, and weekends, which makes it easy to find something that fits my schedule. What I appreciate most is the diverse community here – people of all ages and backgrounds, both men and women, coming together to practice.
As a 65-year-old beginner, I’ve discovered how beneficial yoga is for both body and mind. Each class leaves me feeling recharged and centered in a way that’s hard to put into words. The instructors have a gift for meeting you exactly where you are, and I always leave with what I need, whether that’s physical movement, mental clarity, or simply a sense of peace.
If you’re considering trying yoga or looking for a new studio, I highly recommend Yoga Inspired. It’s a special place.

I joined Yoga Inspired in July, and it has been such a positive and grounding part of my life ever since. The studio has a cozy, welcoming vibe with plenty of props available, which makes every class feel supportive and accessible. The community is warm and friendly, and I’ve always felt at ease from the moment I walked in.

The instructors are caring, knowledgeable, and bring a beautiful mix of challenge and compassion to each class. There’s a great variety of classes to choose from, so there’s always something that suits my energy and needs.

A special shoutout to Jess Fass, the owner, who I first met at a book group—her kindness and passion for creating a supportive yoga community truly shines through in everything at Yoga Inspired.

So grateful to have found this little gem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a thoughtful, heart-centered place to practice.

Yoga Inspired is a wonderful and incredibly welcoming studio. I’ve attended classes with many different teachers and they’ve all been fantastic. I prefer a gentle and more meditative practice, which is available at Yoga Inspired. Each teacher brings their own unique energy and gifts to each class. Sometimes you may be offered a cold lavender stone during the final resting pose, other times you’ll be delighted by a wonderful playlist, and other times you’ll be greeted by the scent of palo santo wafting in the air. There are often special events with music/sound bath opportunities. It’s incredibly clean and a calming space. They really place an emphasis on highlighting that yoga is for everybody, every body, and I love that.

Yoga Inspired has become a home away from home. I moved to Raleigh two years ago and it’s the first place I came to meet friends and connect with like-minded people. And it has totally exceeded my expectations. The studio refills my cup in ways I didn’t realize was empty. All the instructors are super knowledgeable, and my favorite teacher is Kat, so definitely go to her class to help heal your inner child. I always leave at peace and at ease, feeling much lighter than the way I come in. Do yourself a favor and take a class. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I have gone to Yoga Inspired for several years now. It has greatly improved since the new owner took over a few years ago. We now have an app to schedule classes, buy credits or memberships, etc. But the true magic is the instructors - they are all fantastic. I also leave class with a true sense that I am improving and learning so much. This is a great studio and a great place to practice self-care. You won't be disappointed and if you are feeling adventurous, try the aerial yoga. They also have some awesome events - like cello & yoga. They have great deals if you just want to try yoga and see if it's a good fit - but more than likely you will stay and be part of this yoga studio family.
I love it here!

I absolutely love Yoga Inspired and am so glad I finally gave this little studio a try! Over the few months I've attended classes led by a number of teachers and they have all been wonderful. I’ve been coming here through my second and third trimesters, and while the classes aren’t specifically prenatal yoga, they are unheated and many are slow-paced enough I’ve been able to adapt my practice easily. Here's what I love about this studio:

- Classes leave me energized, not depleted. I typically log around 350 active calories burned in a one hour flow class. At some of the hot yoga studios in the area I would burn about the same amount of calories but leave classes feeling physically depleted. After classes at YI I feel like I have more energy - my body and mind both feel great.
- Classes are not repetitive; flows feel like a dance. Not only is there good variation from class to class and instructor to instructor, but within an individual class I don't feel exhausted or bored by repetition. The flows feel organic, to the point I often find myself naturally going to the next step before the instructor even cues it.
- Friendly, welcoming instructors AND patrons. This is the friendliest studio I've been to in the area, and not only because of the welcoming instructor but also the patrons. It is a much more diverse group in terms of age than most studios. People chat with newcomers, and it doesn't feel cliquey like many other studios.
- The space is clean and calm. I like that most of the classes are taught with dimmed lights. It's super clean. Bathrooms are stocked with thoughtful extras you may need.
- It's a genuine yoga experience. A lot of studios are really some kind of yoga fusion (think yoga + pilates or yoga + bootcamp style workout) - that's totally fine but if you're looking for a more pure yoga experience, meaning an experience for the mind AND body - this is your place.
- Offers interesting weekend "workshops" and experiences, many centered on a more spiritual experience. Yoga Inspired has some kind of "special" every weekend. It's an amazing way to meet other people and expand your practice. I haven't gone to many of these but look forward to trying some in the future.
- Did I mention that it's next door to Sola coffee? Also a plus :)

I have been going to Yoga Inspired Raleigh for a few months and I LOVE it! I started going because they offer aerial yoga classes and this is the majority of what I do there. But their may classes are just as good and they have events like full moon circle, women's circle, etc. I love all the teachers and students. I highly recommend them!

This studio has what you are looking for, form beginner to challenging classes even aerial yoga. It is definitely not a corporate environment, it is more like a community even a family. They don’t deserve 1 star. They deserve no stars. Absolutely 0/10. Terrible customer service. No real rerun policy. No confirmation email upon booking. No grace periods. Yelling at paying customers. Just overall would ABSOLUTELY NEVER RECOMMEND this so called “business” to anyone at all, not even my worst enemy. Just that terrible.

If I could give this place “0” stars I would. They were completely unprofessional and dismissive. As a girls trip for a close friend of mine we came to Raleigh, Nc to celebrate her birthday. On the morning of our class we called twice to confirm our booking because we had not receive a confirmation email. Something most establish business send out as a memo on rules and regulations. They never answered the phone or called us back. We arrived 5-8 minutes due to locating the studio. (none of us are from Raleigh, Nc or are familiar with the establishment ). When we arrived , there was a sign stating to NOT KNOCK OR DISTURB THE CLASS. We called several times no one answered . Finally we knocked at 12:13 after calling at 12:12. The instructor in a condensing matter refused to allow us in the class, stating we were late and could not come in and rush to close the door after stating we would have to come back in a hour to speak face-to-face with the owner. When we arrived at 1 p, oThe class was not over and the owner was not present. After asking for a refund due to the inconsiderate nature of business . The owner ( on the phone) refused to give us refunds . When asked about refund policy the owner or instructor could not confirm the details of the policy. Which means there was none. In short, the owner began arguing with us and stole our money refusing to give us a refund. I say stole because there was no refund policy, confirmation email or grace period for a NEW BEGINNER CLASS. The entire situation was unprofessional and all around bad business.

My absolute favorite experience at Yoga Inspired was the aerial yoga for beginners. A few of my friends and I signed up for a Sunday morning class and had an absolute blast learning the basics and hanging from the silks. I definitely recommend this as a girls day out - grab your girlfriends and go out for brunch afterwards. We had so much fun, and endless things to talk about after because it truly is such a unique experience.

Also, I love that it isn't hot yoga! I feel like with all of the rage around hot yoga, it's nice to go to class, practice, and leave feeling like I can go out into the world without needing a shower first.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and people of all abilities can come to classes at Yoga Inspired and know that the teachers are ready for them.

I have been a member of Yoga Inspired for several years now and find that merely walking through the doors, into the studio, brings me to a more peaceful place in my body and mind.

The studio has grown and expanded its community outreach and breadth of opportunities to practice and make connections. Yoga Inspired is a welcoming, inclusive and safe space.

The teachers are very knowledgeable and welcoming to beginners though more than experienced yogis- offering modifications and adjustments as needed.

I am very thankful for Yoga Inspired and am always grateful when I can walk through the doors and practice yoga there.

I booked Anil for a private small group, outdoor class for my birthday this weekend and it was fantastic! It was a pleasure setting up logistics with him and the day of went really well. My friends and I loved the class - he went at a pace we were all comfortable with, offered modifications where needed, and led us through a soothing and energizing flow. Everyone commented how great it was and that they were excited to take a real class once the studio opens. Thank you!!

Became a big fan of the studio very quickly. I liked the variety of poses done in the classes; sometimes I’ll get too comfortable doing the same things repeatedly, and I felt like I got the opportunity to spread my wings a bit/get enough of a challenge without it being overwhelming. Very welcoming atmosphere and good vibes.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi this studio will give you an amazing experience. The owners, teachers & fellow students are warm, supportive and welcoming. Each instructor has their own style, all of them are great. Don’t be afraid to speak with any of them before or after class with any questions/concerns you may have. The room is warmed up, which makes it easier for the body to enjoy. Classes are affordable, with a good variety in schedule, from early morning to evening, make having a regular practice accessible. If you have thought about trying yoga or looking to try a new studio, definitely come here. Scheduling a class online is available and super easy. It is the perfect blend of a workout, spiritual practice, and great music. So excited this little gem has opened up in North Raleigh, tucked right behind Sola Coffee Café!

Love this new studio- super convenient to N. Raleigh in the building behind Sola Coffee. Have taken Two all levels classes that were well paced and challenging without being so demanding that you lose your breath and center. Perfect temperature- warm enough to be comfortable and stretch but you don’t need a mat towel and you’re not sliding all over the place. Teachers were welcoming, offered variations, and played music that was complimentary but quiet enough you could tune in or out depending on your preference. Highly recommend! Note: parking can be a challenge as it’s in a busy area, give yourself some extra time to get there and get settled if you can.

Great new studio. Was fortunate enough to take a complimentary class at opening. Anil leads a relaxed atmosphere with an eclectic blend of music (Hamilton! along with the more traditional New Age, but it wasn't jarring at all). Excellent workout that left me feeling much more limber. The room was warm but not hot. The studio was attractive and they offered plenty of mats and props if you don't have your own.
