I took a soundbath class with Emma and it was absolutely amazing! This studio has a wonderful vibe, very relaxing and welcoming. They have everything you need for a great yoga practice. I look forward to trying out other classes.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Teacher Training!!!

I chose Yoga Soul*lec*tive for my 200-hour training because I wanted more than just memorized sequences—and wow, did Jolene and Katie deliver. This isn’t a studio that hands you a script; they give you the tools to craft an intentional flow from the ground up.

-No cookie-cutter sequences: They taught us a method for building classes—The "why" behind every pose: anatomical wisdom + intuitive sequencing = a game-changer. You’ll learn not just how to teach, but why certain poses belong together.

Jolene and Katie will challenge you to find your voice. If you want to start (it’s a lot) a deep understanding of yoga, you belong here! ;)

Forever grateful for their patience, passion, and the lightbulb moments they offered!

They are magic, their playlists slap, and the community they’ve built is pure gold!

I was a student at YogaSoullective with an unlimited pass for almost 2 years. I really enjoyed the classes but reluctantly had to cancel my account due to work travel. When I went in to cancel my account in-person, I was informed by the staff member working at the time that my account had been successfully canceled, and that I would no longer be charged monthly.
Months later, I discovered that yogasoullective had still been charging me. When I attempted to call the studio, I was unable to get ahold of anyone. After leaving several voicemails, I received a text message from someone I had never heard of from the studio, telling me that they would not refund me for those months. After many further attempts to contact the studio via phone, the only responses I ever received were via text from this person who I had never met, who simply refused to refund me in full.
After being a loyal and student for such a long time, I was really shocked to be treated so poorly. It is disturbing to me that a studio with so many students and a very prominent location in downtown Raleigh would refuse to reimburse a student for mistaken charges on their end. The cold, impersonal and bureaucratic response that I received runs absolutely counter to the ethic of care, responsibility and community that the studio claims to hold center to its philosophy.
Having had this experience (which is still yet unresolved), I will not be returning to this studio and will warn others to steer clear as well.

I've been a student for about a year and I am so thankful to have found this studio!! Each teacher brings their own energy and personality to their classes and you can explore which teachers best fit your vibe.

The studio is always clean and well kept, Everyone on staff is kind, Plenty of props available in the prop closet.

Make sure to leave time to look for parking before class!!

I love this studio! It’s beautiful, the layout is respectful and highlights the beauty of the historic building. 2 studios, one for movement classes the other is for meditation and sound classes. I’ve like all teachers I’ve taken classes with. The teachers are also very welcoming and helpful with any questions you have.

The only thing I would suggest or adjust would be the volume of the music. It’s very hard to make the mind/body connection that I’m seeking with yoga when I’m straining to hear the teacher speak. If I’m straining to hear then I cannot flow into my practice.

I’ve been a student at Yoga Soul for nearly 2.5 years!! The studio aura cultivated by Katie + Jolene has become my safe space to explore emotionally, spiritually and physically. This studio embodies what yoga can be outside the physical yogic practice. Community is celebrated and some of my closest friendships have blossomed because of Yoga Soul!!

I've tried a lot of yoga studios in Raleigh and Yoga Soullective is by far my favorite. I love that there are no mirrors so that I can really ground into myself and the experience and the teachers are incredible. I've been going to all of Emma's 8ams and they are the perfect way to start my day. The only thing that could make the experience better is if the 8am shifted a bit earlier to 7:30am or 7:45am to better work with my work schedule.

Love the studio and classes! Hate the parking situation, and the fact that doors are locked right at the start of class. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been 2-3 minutes late because I couldn’t find a parking space only to be locked out. I understand why they do it, but it’s incredibly frustrating to drive 20-30 minutes each way and not get to attend.

The yin yoga class was incredibly welcoming and accommodating for individuals with injuries, without feeling called out in class. Mats, blocks, and blankets available for use, and lockers available for personal belongings. I'll definitely be coming back to this comforting and welcoming environment.

Such a lovely experience! Visiting from DC for a wedding and popped into their Sunday 9:45AM Flow class. Good energy, really kind and friendly instructor (Georgia). They let me borrow a mat and props. 10/10 would recommend to all!

Best strait up yoga place in Raleigh. Both the owners have a beautiful practice, plus they knocked it out of the park with decorating the space and attracting a great community of yogis. Oddly enough, I loved the old wood floors, reminds me of an old ballet studio (not like I'd know what that is like anyway).

Hands down my favorite studio in Raleigh. Katie and Jolene are so welcoming and will cater to each individuals level of practice. I feel I am able to fully focus on my practice in this space. I’ve been to several other studios locally and classes always seems to be more competitive among members. You will not find that here - all are welcome. You will leave feeling fulfilled and at peace. 10/10 recommend!

I have been to both the Raleigh and wake forest location and they are both fantastic yoga studios. Wake forest definitely needed a yoga studio like this and I’m so happy to practice my yoga in a beautiful space like this. The teachers are all so friendly and helpful every time I walk in. I can’t wait to continue my practice here.

They have no working phone to contact. I purchased class for myself and my boss we were 5 minutes late and unable to attend class. Which is fine if they were able to be reached to reschedule but no response to emails and no working telephone. I even went in person during business hours received no assistance. I would NOT recommend spending money with this business.

My practice at Soullective has enriched my life. The classes are challenging but well thought out, with no one session being the same as another. And while there is a woo element (as I imagine is always the case), it is not so in your face or corny as to be embarrassing. I joined to supplement my training. In addition to the physical benefits, I discovered a boon to my mental health. I’m grateful to Jolene and Katie for creating a space for so many to thrive. Thank you, ladies!

This studio is absolutely AMAZING! I cannot tell you how much I love this studio, the founders, and the community these incredible ladies have built. I started coming to this studio last summer and it has truly changed my life. If you're looking to get into yoga in the Raleigh area, you MUST come check out YOGA SOUL•LEC•TIVE. In fact, even if you're not looking to get into yoga, you still MUST come check out YOGA SOUL•LEC•TIVE. Katie and Jolene are not only incredible yoga instructors, but they're just all around incredible people. The space is inviting, the classes are hard and so rewarding, and the community is truly something special. I've shopped around quite a bit for a good yoga studio for years, after working at one, and I can say without a doubt that YOGA SOUL•LEC•TIVE is the best there is. The heart and soul they put into every class is unparalled and I am so grateful to have found this community!
