Great hot yoga studio! The studio is very welcoming and the classes are challenging. All the teachers are fantastic! Stephanie is not only a great instructor, sheβs very helpful and kind. I appreciate her efforts to accommodate students. I enjoy visiting this studio when Iβm visiting the area.

Really great studio! Came here for warm yoga for my first time & it was super hard but good. The teacher, Meredith did a great job teaching. I will say, it felt a bit small for the class size - I was so close to a random man that sometimes he was touching me depending on the pose and that made me a bit uncomfy so I would want to go with a smaller class :) but overall I would recommend taking a workout class here!

The worst customer service in regards to management. No call back or email back regarding an account inquiry I had.

I just finished my second yoga class with Meredith and it was such a positive experience. She is very patient and accommodating of all skill levels. I had some lower back pain this morning and she went through several stretching exercises with me.
I will definitely be back for class #3

I have known Vicki and her family since I moved to North Carolina in the early 90s. Her family has welcomed me into their home and made me one of their own. Vicki has been practicing yoga as long as Iβve known her and was at the forefront of the movement always keeping up with new advances and practices. A true pioneer of the yoga community.
Yoga with an Edge has been a privately owned, small, local business the downtown Hickory since 2010 but Vicki has been practicing and teaching even longer. Her studio was an important part of the continued efforts of ramping up downtown Hickory into the diverse hub it is today.
My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer back in 2017 and has attended multiple sessions with Vicki. Even when she misses a class, Vicki stays in touch making sure my mother is ok and staying strong.
Everyday Vicki upholds a welcoming yoga studio and is a hardworking small business owner making her an asset to any community.

This is the best yoga studio in Hickory! The teachers are wonderful and have great personalities. Classes are priced to accommodate everyone and your package does not expire until after a year! You are greeted by a smiling face for every class and teachers will answer any questions you have after class. Great for all levels of practice and those trying yoga for the first time!

I practice yoga, but have not attended this studio so I can not comment on the facilities, instructors or sessions. My low rating is based off management. I purchased a gift certificate on 12/19/2017 for a family member who has never done yoga and had some reservations to get started. However, less than 8 days after the recipient received the gift certificate, there was a major medical event due to a serious case of the flu which required their full attention for the first half of 2018. Shortly after, they then moved their household. Once all the dust settled, my family member was ready to engage yoga and give it a shot. However, it was exactly 18 days after the gift certificate expired. I called and spoke to the manager/owner Vicki asking her to extend the gift certificate for 3 months so that my family member could give it a shot. She rigidly refused stating that if she did this for me, "word would get around" and she would have to do it for everyone. "Word will get around?". How many people does Vickie think are running around Hickory scheming to extend an expired gift certificate? So, when faced with the opportunity to gain a new client or refuse service for funds she had already received from me, she decided the latter was more important. From my view, this is a very inconsiderate and poor management decision. Let's be honest, what cost was she truly sacrificing? The overhead is minimal in a yoga studio and Vickie had already received payment for services that were not rendered. All she had to do was allow someone to walk in the door, lay a mat down and follow along - a service for which she was very happy to already be paid for in advance. I was also struck by Vickie's complete lack of recognition or regard for my family members situation in 2018. Entirely inconsistent with the teachings of yoga. If visiting Hickory, I will be sure not to visit this studio and will make all efforts to dissuade those I know in Hickory from also attending.

Lynetteβs Hot Yoga classes are amazing! Every time I go I learn something new to practice at home. She takes the time to help you improve your practice. I really enjoy starting my saturday mornings with this class! If I lived closer, I would try more of the classes! I definitely recommend this studio.

I am 45 years old with an arthritic T-spine and have never been to a yoga class or had any mind to join or practice any other fitness class, routine or personal fitness regimen until today. I contacted them with concerns about attending since I am 6 Β½ weeks post-surgery from a laparoscopic mesh hernia repair. Vicki replied very promptly and did a good job of letting me know what to expect and that the instructor would provide variations to try if I needed to. She also took the time to draft a list of appropriate classes with their times and days offered for me to explore. I messaged her a couple of times for clarification and each time she got back to me promptly and had good clear answers to my questions. The class was very challenging to me but the instructor(Megan) did just as Vicki had said and offered variations that made it possible for me to stumble through. Both the instructor and the other students were very compassionate and tried their best to make me feel welcome and accepted. I have a ton of gratitude for Yoga With An Edge.
