Took my granddaughter to try it out, she really enjoyed it but the coach was not watching her at one point, she was encouraging another student, but they really need to sanitize, it smells bad when you first walk in. They really need to do some upgrading and house cleaning, really dusty..

My grandaughters attended camp the week of August 18-22. They had a fabulous time. They couldn't wait to get there and didn't want to leave.

The gym looks, feels and smells like it hasn't been cleaned up or updated since the 80's. My daughter went here for about a year and didn't learn one thing. Not sure what they teach the beginner students. But it was a waste of our time and money.

Coaches are too busy comforting the kids who are too scared and need to go home until they are ready or too busy with the unruly kids to actually teach. WAYYYYY too many times I had to check someone else’s child becasue their parents failed to do so. Parents sit in the car or are too busy on their phones and laptops to do so. They treat this place like a drop in daycare.
The amount of times I’ve seen a brat harass my child and nothing is done is ridiculous. My child simply wants to learn a cartwheel. One simple thing. I even paid for privates. Yet nothing.
It appears you have to be a certain color or have the same views as the people who work there in order for your kid to advance to the next level or else your kid is just there for fun, they are not going to learn or grow in their craft.

They mainly cater towards white boys and push the black girls to the side. Ive seen the girls team practice and the boys team practice and the boys get more instruction and conditioning than the girls. It’s a shame because the girls are all black, I wonder how it would be if the girls were white.

I take my child here for the preschool class. It’s ok but I don’t see any improvement even after all this time. Maybe if the gym didn’t stink so much and the windows of the visiting room was clean so that parents could actually see out of them, maybe I will be able to see what my child is working on. Instead, the gym stinks terribly, the toys upstairs all need a serious deep clean along with the floors and windows. I’m not sure of the qualifications of the teacher as my child has still not learned any of the basic skills that I thought she would’ve learned by now. The teachers spend more time talking with each other than with the children. I am actually disappointed in this. It seems as if only certain color kids are advancing and given attention so that they actually make a team. Maybe it is a popularity contest with the parents, but it doesn’t seem right not fair. At the almost a whole year, my child is still not advancing or doing any skills. There are the basics of the basics however, the teacher gloats on the other students and ensure they receive more time so they can earn their stars and recognition for the team.

My oh my.....Last time I was here competing, it was a different name back then, formerly Weyandts gymnastics back in those days. Coach Stass. Sasha and his employees will work you, but understand that this high level of effort is required if you wish to become a champion in the future as I once was in the past.

Пожалуйста, покажите этим тренерам это сообщение: «До свидания и спасибо, тренеры Стас и Саша! Навсегда ваш чемпион Северной Каролины по гимнастике 06 года, Симеон!» AKA "Pushkin".

After a couple of years taking dance, our daughter wanted to try gymnastics and she hasn't looked back. She has a true passion for this sport and I thank Zenith and her coaches for all the time/care they have poured into her. We have been here for 3 years so far (1 rec year, 1 pre-team year, and 1 Bronze team year). It is WILD to me how much our child grows in her skills here, especially under Coach Lyuda, who she has spent the most time with thus far. As the hours increase and she has started to work with Coach Alex too, our daughter's love for the sport just keeps getting stronger. Seeing her leave practice proud and so full of energy is the best feeling. THANK YOU ZENITH!

Summer camps are engaging and the right balance of training, conditioning, art activities, and games. The kids are engaged and do not want to leave early. They also enjoy this weeklong camp more than other camp programs in the Charlotte area.

Our son has been going to this gym for 6 years. Started when he was 3. He is on the team now. Spends 12 hours a week and enjoys every minute of his practice. Coach Tom and Coach Stass are very strong and encouraging. The team is competitive. All boys on the team are nice and friendly.

I love Zenith! The staff and community members that participate are so welcoming and friendly! I attended Zenith for their adult gymnastics classes and it was the best 8 months of my life! I set my goal of learning a handstand and a cartwheel and Coach Stas, Coach Dani, and Coach Alex 100% helped me strengthen and learn both skills! Most folks get so excited about the skill and try to rush and skip the fundamentals but at Zenith, fundamentals are everything! They ensured I was completing my conditioning exercises and really taking care of my body such as completing my stretches. I have since moved out of the Charlotte area but I think about the my Zenith family all the time! If you are thinking of going to their gym, DO IT! The sense of community here is unmatched! They genuinely care about you. I love and miss my Zenith fam!

I went to this gym for around 2 years for summer camp. Horrible! Its never been cleaned and you can smell it as soon as you walk in. Sure, it's good for younger kids, but as you get older its terrible. Communication is awful and the smell is just horrific. We were doing conditioning and i hurt my ankle, mind you I was full on sobbing, and they wouldn't even let me call my mom. Its terrible service and the coaches are snotty. Its a shame, could have been a good place.

We LOVE Zenith! I have one son who has been on the boys team for 4 years and another who has attended camps and Open Gym sessions. Both love going, have fun, and get great exercise! I loved that Zenith had boys only classes. Everyone at Zenith is professional, caring, and most important safe! They've handled Covid-19 very well and have taken lots of precautions. Coach Stass is aways cleaning the gym (and was even before Covid). I feel safe sending my children to Zenith.

My son has been at Zenith almost 10 years and has loved his time there. The coaches have been like family to him ever since he was a little guy - they taught him not just the joy of gymnastics, but also perseverance, patience, and fortitude. He has enjoyed both the camaraderie and the discipline of being on a team. I am grateful for all the care and dedication each of the folks here have for the children entrusted to them - they are doing a wonderful job and I hope that they continue to be a part of our community for a long time.

Haven't been here before, but the website needs updating; it shows schedules for Fall 2018 and the navigation sidebar is unclickable. I am guessing that's why a few people gave it less than 5 stars. I will change my review to a 5 once the website is current for April 2019.

Best boys program in Charlotte! We have seen our son improve and thrive since coming to Zenith from the local rec program at a gym in Weddington. We are so happy with the caring and supportive coaches. Not only is he learning a great sport, he’s learning the importance of a good work ethic, owning your attitude and being coachable. All of these are great life lessons that extend well beyond the sport. We love Zenith!

This is THE place to take a young boy gymnast in Charlotte. The coaches show genuine care for the kids. If you have a boy showing interest in competitive gymnastics, this is your place. I don't have as much experience with the girls side beyond their rec program which is well structured and my daughter also enjoys.

This has been a super fun, safe place for my teenage daughter to continue growing her gym skills. Staff was super friendly, always responsive, got to know our daughter well, and gave her freedom towards the end of the class to practice the skills that she wanted to improve on.. All teachers there are very caring and have safety in mind.

My daughter has been going to Zenith for about a year now. The place does smell and the waiting areas are small, but they did replace the carpet with hardwoods in the "kids' room" upstairs and that has helped some. My daughter recently moved into the 5Y Stars class and after a few classes asked if she could stop going to gymnastics. She said it isn't fun anymore. As a parent they are frustratingly hard to deal with because they are slow to answer emails and rarely answer the phone. It is also difficult to get anyone to talk to you when you are there since the "front office" is rarely manned. The place is ok, but I would suggest checking other places out before committing to here.

I sent my daughter here for a day camp. She's been to other gymnastic camps and always comes home with positive remarks. Not the case with Zenith and we will not be sending her back. She said the instructor was snooty and impatient. They said a snack would be provided and there wasn't. They said they would do a craft and gave her a piece of paper to color. I never leave reviews but she had an awful time.

Great resource for kids. But the entire place smells awful. I don't think the carpet had been cleaned ever. When I open the door, I gag. It takes 10 min of being in there too get used to it.
I'm also super concerned about safety and OSHA standards as there is one small door where everyone is trying to get in and out at the end of every class.

Unfortunately, I have to give Zenith one star. My child has faithfully attended this gym for over a year now and was doing really well. They used to have a structured program with decent coaches for the beginner and advanced boys classes. Once the male coaches left in September it has been downhill. I have reached out to staff several times with my concerns and all I get is " would you like to pay for private lessons??" Seems money is all that matters over there. We will no longer be going to Zenith and it truly is a shame.

My dissapointment with Zenith goes far beyond the condition of their parking lot, the area, their pathetic excuse for a waiting room and let's not forget their dirty rest room. It's plain to see no one truly cares about the place and it shows, dust on the trophies, coaches wearing sneakers on the mats and people who come to pick up their kids walking inside the gym with shoes on.... It's been basically a total waste of time and money over the past year watching your child standing around with many other boys while the trainer is spending more time with newer, younger children who should be in a smaller specialized start up group for their age and not doing this on your one hour meter time slot. Several of the original male coaches were excellent and inspired the boys, unfortunately when fall came and they went back off to college, work etc.,
and replaced with a female coach who's attitude leaves a lot to be desired not to mention her inability to relate well to the boys and her displeasure working there shows. Don't Waste Your Money.

I'm looking for a place for my 5yr old daughter and 9yr old son to go. I've been visiting around, unannounced, checking out places for more than just gymnastics, but a clean, nurturing, environment as well. I walked in the door of this place and was met with a very foul odor. The place was not clean, and was very unorganized. The viewing area for parents was very small and very far away from the action. NO ONE was there to help me or answer any questions. There were two older individuals, one man one woman, sitting just inside the gym area talking in Greek i think. They completely ignored me. There was a parent there who offered some info but said everyone was out to lunch. ??? This place may offer good training, but I'll never know, because of all i listed above. Sorry guys. Not impressed.

I took my son to the trial, he loved it. Which that is why I chose to go through with registering my 3 yr old son. However I wanted him to be in specific classes which they agreed upon. So when I came on time to the class, they were rude said they didn't know anything about me or my child and said that I didn't sign up for an all boys class. So I stood there looking stupid, I still had the paper that she (foreign lady) had wrote on, that said for me to be there specifically on what date and time... The day was correct the time was wrong so when I showed up, the class has been over for an whole hour.. I told them how I stay a hour away and that I just can't leave without anything in hand.. Either my son start practicing now or yall give me a discount... They didn't do either!!! They suggested I come two days later or come that weekend.. I have a life I just can't come when yall make a mistake. So they left the office and had me standing there dumbfounded. I'm pissed, my child was crying because he thought he would be tumbling but instead we got our asses handed to us and gallons of gas wasted.. I will not ever think about sending my child to that place again..
They were foreign, so when I showed them the evidence of their mistakes they all of a sudden couldn't understand me....
