CrossFit Fargo has been an incredible experience! The coaching staff is well versed in everything that they do and cater to the goals that you want to reach. They push me every single workout and I am in the best shape of my life. Doing intense training has poured over into working harder in other aspects of my life. I would sign up for CFF 100 times out of 100, I can't recommend this place enough!

CFF is an investment. It’s not easy. And it’s not cheap. But it is effective. If you sign up and show up, you’ll change your body — and you’ll get mentally tougher, too.

Some stuff I like about CFF:

(1) Scaling. CFF is hard. It's supposed to be. It's a feature of the system - not a bug. But every workout includes scaling options so you can adjust to your current ability or situation. This can, of course, mean using lighter weights or doing fewer reps. But it can also mean working with your coach to come up with alternative movements/exercises if you're injured or have a vulnerable area (a bum shoulder, bad knee, etc.).

(2) Great coaching. My experience with CFF coaches has been really good. They're understanding/encouraging when you're struggling, but they also know when you need to be challenged to dig a little deeper. They listen, answer questions, and provide guidance.

(3) Respect and decency. People at CFF treat one another well. Experienced athletes help new athletes. And it's just not a place where there are a bunch of egos running around trying to make other folks feel intimidated. You don't need to worry about getting bullied by some "bro dude" with unresolved issues. CFF is challenging — but you’re all in it together.

(4) Warmup. This may sound like a small thing, but it's actually a big deal. They just know how to get you ready for the workout. You can walk in thinking to yourself, "There's no way I can do this today." But you get a few minutes into the warmup, and you're like, "Alright ... I'm getting there."

I am a 74 year old man diagnosed with Parkinson's 8 years ago. I found Jake at Cross Fit Fargo with his Parkinson's Program! We work out one hour three days a week. After JUST 6 WEEKS things changed... I had my physical therapy evaluation and I maxed out every task! I scored 2 points higher than a 74 year old non-Parkinson"s man. Jake will help you work as hard as your capable of, he will work your butt off, he will make you sweat, and you'll love every minute of it. We work hard so when things get hard we can deal with it hoo-ra!!
Added bonus: I am no longer alone with this disease. I am in awe of the men and women who show up and refuse to be defeated.

I was very nervous about joining, but quickly learned that CrossFit is for everyone! It may feel scary or intimidating, but there are scaling options and modifications for every movement. Each day you come to the gym is a day you get stronger and better. You will not regret making this investment in yourself.

Since joining CrossFit Fargo, my confidence has grown exponentially. The mental and physical satisfaction of doing hard things has helped me to see what I am truly capable of. I have gained new friends and an incredible community!

This is a warm and inviting place. The classes walk you through a warm up, technical instruction, and workout of the day (WOD). I find the workouts challenging and it helps me to dig deep and find my best work. I appreciate the camaraderie, encouragement, positive atmosphere, and having people to share in the blissful suffering. There is something about that bond that brings me back. Thank you to the instructors and those that provide a place for us to share this experience. Thank you. We appreciate you.

If you’re thinking about giving CrossFit Fargo a try… As the old Nike saying goes, Just Do It! I’m SO glad that I did. CrossFit Fargo is an amazing place. As each week goes by I keep finding another reason why I’m so glad I’m there. CrossFit wasn’t new to me but I felt like I was starting over because of how long it had been. I always feel welcomed by the coaches and by the other members, whether it’s a coach supporting me by explaining movements and I can scale them to my current ability or someone simply saying hello and chatting and making me feel not so new anymore! It’s an awesome place!

What’s changed in my life in the 4 short months that I’ve been there?
I’m starting to crave the way I feel when I workout and when I complete a workout. I look forward to it and it doesn’t seem like a task but something I’m lucky I get to do and proud of. I feel stronger, mentally and physically. The workouts help me clear my mind and calm me. I’m sleeping better at night!
My kids are athletes and workout a lot, CrossFit has given me something else to share with them and I feel that by showing them I can do it that it motivates them to keep working hard too.

CrossFit Fargo is an amazing place to work out. The coaches really listen to your goals, help correct your form, and push you in the right way. All the coaches are also very friendly, easy to approach, and great to communicate with.

What I love most is the community, it feels more like a family than just a gym. Everyone encourages each other, and I’ve seen real results and transformations here. I highly encourage you to be part of this community if you want to witness real transformation.

No matter your fitness level, if you stay consistent, the coaches and community will help you reach your fitness goals.

I’ve only been at CrossFit Fargo for a short time, but I’m already loving the experience! The gym has such an amazing energy, and the workouts are always challenging, well-structured, and super motivating. From day one, I’ve felt welcomed, the members are very friendly and supportive, which makes a big difference. But the real highlight is the coaches, they are incredibly professional, attentive, motivating, dedicated. You can tell they truly care about our progress and safety, and I really admire that. I’m so glad I found CrossFit Fargo and I’m excited to keep growing alongside this amazing team! 💪🔥

Dear potential new gym members,
I get it. It’s scary. When I first reached out to CrossFit Fargo I was at one of the lowest points in my life, physically and mentally. Call it what you will, desperation maybe? But I knew I needed a change.

Let’s get one thing clear, I have never done CrossFit in my life. I pulled up to the gym for my intro consultation with the owner Jake and saw people running laps around the building. My initial thought was, “no way, I can’t do this.” I was close to turning right around and going home. I worked up the courage and walked through the doors. My life hasn’t quite been the same.

I cried during that consultation. I was scared, overwhelmed, embarrassed, you name it. But Jake was incredibly kind and understanding. We booked my first three individual sessions as an intro into CrossFit. It prepared me as to what to expect coming into the gym.

Now don’t get me wrong, I was still scared, overwhelmed and embarrassed for weeks walking into the gym. But the coaches and other members of the gym were welcoming and supportive. The workouts were modified to meet me where I was at, with no judgement.

I’ve been a member at the gym for a few months now. I’ve seen significant changes physically and mentally. I feel as though I’m a part of the team, even though I am still doing modified workouts. It’s hard work, but guess what.. it also gets fun.

Clean and jerk, power cleans, thrusters? I still barely know what they are, but I feel confident in my coaches to guide me every step of the way.

I encourage you to dig deep. You CAN do this. I promise. Just walk through the door. The feeling of accomplishment and of growth is worth it. And the cherry on top of the cake? People in your life will notice a difference too. You got this!

1. To someone who is thinking about joining CFF, do it. The combination of the fitness coaching that is available at the gym, the community and welcoming from all the current members is second to none. Joining a new community can be very nerve wracking, but I can say since I have joined I have met many of my fitness goals with thanks to the coaching and met some awesome new friends thanks to all the great people that welcomed me into CFF.

2. The biggest change in my life is I am actually excited to workout. Before joining CFF, exercise and working out felt like chore and something I had to do. The CFF coaches and community is so amazing, everyday going to a class is a part of my day that I need and look forward to all day and has really reignited my ambitions in fitness and all other aspects of life.

The biggest thing CrossFit has helped me with is consistency. Before joining, I was very inconsistent with my workouts and never held myself accountable. I didn’t know what to do for workouts and would do the same thing over and over again. It got boring and I got lazy with it. It has also assisted me with my confidence and social insecurities. I have been able to branch off on my own without my husband and meet new people in the classes I attend without him. It has opened many opportunities for me. I have learned that I can do a lot more than I ever thought I was capable of. The community is awesome and no matter where you are in your journey, there is always someone to hype you up. Anyone is capable to do CrossFit if you have and mindset and commitment for it.

I always wanted to try CrossFit at least once, but I never had the courage to start. Honestly, the hardest part is just walking into the room for the first time. Once you do that, everything else is easier.
If you're scared of the unknown, just take that first step. The workouts might look tough, but the trainers are super supportive and really look after you. After my first class, I felt a mix of exhaustion and exhilaration. It was challenging, but I was proud of myself for finally starting. Build your plan from there, and you won't regret it!

I have to give props to the team of trainers over at CrossFit Fargo. they are so fantastic to work with. If you are nervous at all I have this to say about my experience. Do not be afraid! Crossfit was a bit intimidating. From the outside it looks like a room of fit people and a ton of new terminology. Now that I am in it, the terms all make sense, and the room is filled with people of all varying degrees of fitness. CrossFit Fargo, like no other, truly meets everyone where they are at and then helps push them forward. I have learned to push myself in ways I haven’t in years. My body feels more resilient. I have better stamina and drive.

I've been struggling to lose weight and improve my stamina for the past four years through solo workouts. Finally, I decided to give CrossFit a try and joined CrossFitFargo. Best decision ever! The trainers are incredibly supportive and the workouts are challenging but effective and rewarding. The community is fantastic. I've been attending the 5:15 AM classes Monday through Friday and I've noticed a significant boost in my energy levels. I've just completed my first month and I'm already feeling better about myself. To all Zebras out there, having EDS but loving to be active and adventurous has been a challenge, physically and mentally. At first I wasn't sure if CrossFit would be a good fit, that the workouts would be too challenging and my restrictions would make me an odd duck. I am happy to say that my fears were wrong, the coaches have been more than accommodating and helpful to what my body can handle while also still willing to have faith and push me to grow. Trust me when I say no matter how much you struggle the people around you are going to cheer you on and make sure your back on feet at the end of the workout💯💯 I'm really excited for what the future brings, I am feeling stronger and more confident every workout!

This facility has been over the top! Jordan, Jake and the team have been super accommodating. I got a referall from a friend of mine to go and check them out. Within the first couple days of entering an inquiry on line I had numerous texts and emails asking if there were any questions or concerns I had. When I got there for a more formal "interview" Jordan was super professional and very straight forward which I appreciated. They scheduled my first appointments for introductory training very quick and had a very nice easy approach to them in order to best get to know how to accommodate where I was at. The idea of intimidation was quickly dismissed as I began to join class work. I can honestly say now that after just a couple of sessions they have made it so I am excited to work out which never would have happened before.

I love dropping in to CrossFit gyms that have passionate and knowledgeable coaches - I met 3 today and they were all lovely and wonderful.

In particular, I loved hearing Jordan teach someone new about threshold training and how to properly scale while keeping up the intensity, which is literally what CrossFit is all about!

All of the members I met were incredibly welcoming and friendly - you can tell they're a real community here.

If I ever find myself in Fargo again, I'll definitely be back.

I have worked out for 20 years, wanted to try CrossFit & give it a shot. I was always worried about injuries, but soon after being here, they first & foremost concentrate on technique! I have taken a few personally training lessons with Trevor for cleans & a few other lifts with many moving parts! This has really increased my ability to do their exercises correctly & safely! The facility as a whole, Jordan, Trevor & Jake all are invested in the operation! I mean that as they are invested in you & you become your best you! They care & really work on getting you to be where you want to be! I couldn’t recommend this facility anymore!

Great gym, great coaches, and great community.

I've been a member for almost a year now, and can't say enough about how beneficial it's been for my overall health and well being.

The coaches put sincere effort into figuring out where you're at, helping you identify personal goals and how to scale down our exceed them. They mindfully balance encouragement, pointing out areas for improvement, and how to stay safe. Their dedication and expertise make every workout a win.

There's also a great community. Everyone is SO supportive and encouraging. It's not uncommon to have the whole group cheering somebody on. Felt great as newbie.

I highly recommend CrossFit Fargo to anyone looking for a place not only to work out but also a to grow.

Dropped in during a work trip- the drop in process was much smoother than previous experiences. They were in contact minutes after my drop in request and made sure I had all my questions answered before coming. Jordan was the coach for my class, positive, supportive, and he knew his athletes. There were shelves to store my bag. The bathroom was large and clean with a shower. The gym space was clean, with good spacing, and equipment that was well maintained. Plenty of post-WOD recovery drink options. Definitely recommend trying these guys out if you’re in town!

I have been a member with CrossFit Fargo for around a month now, and I truly love the atmosphere of this gym. The coaches are personable and helpful. They truly want you to reach your fullest potential in all aspects of life. The community of CrossFit Fargo is amazing. From day one, people have been congratulating me on my lifts by my name. Everyone in the community wants you to reach your goal, and they are there to push you forward. Being a college student, I didn’t know what to expect as far as other people’s abilities in the gym. I was a little nervous, but seeing people of all ages around me crush their workouts has become one of the most motivating aspects of my membership here. It is fun to see the competitiveness between some members and their friends. I truly believe, without a single doubt in my mind, that every single individual can enjoy their workouts and reach their fullest potential in this gym. Between the coaches and the community, you will always leave feeling better than you did when you first walked in.

CrossFit Fargo also has a large variety of times for your class or open gym, so you will always have a time you can fit in your schedule. Even if you are slightly interested, you can join a class to see if it is a good fit for you without charge. They want you to make sure it is a good fit for you without feeling forced to have a membership. That was super important for me because I didn’t want to join a gym if I was not enjoying the classes.

Overall, I would strongly recommend coming to this gym. You are pushed by the coaches and community every day to get 1% better. When you feel like giving up, there is always someone there who believes in you and will encourage you to get through the next rep.

Before I joined CFF I was hesitant because I had never been involved with cross fit before. But after I met with one of the instructors Jake Haile I felt a lot better. It was easy to talk about my fitness goals and to ask him any questions. One thing I like about coming here is I feel welcomed. I like how the instructors will help correct me on my form and proper technique. I like the guidance and feedback. It's been somewhat of a humble experience for me since I'm learning about myself and where I want to become stronger. For me it's about coming into the gym and learning about myself in the workouts and how to get better. Anybody who is thinking about joining CFF I highly recommend it it's been a positive experience for me!

I watched my husband grow immensely at CrossFit Fargo, both physically and in mindset and confidence, for a year and a half before I finally stepped into CrossFit Fargo myself 2 years ago. Now, some of the very things that I found intimidating about a CrossFit gym (ie. it's hard work!) are the reasons I love it so much!

The workouts are ALWAYS challenging, but the coaches at CFF are skilled, attentive, supportive, compassionate, and incredible at what they do. They take a personal interest in everyone, no matter their skill or fitness level - they want to see you succeed and will do what it takes to make sure you do! I feel confident trying new movements and safely challenging myself in a way I never did in any other gym environment. The resources readily available to members in regards to nutrition resources, workshops, boot camps, etc. also sets CFF apart from other gyms. I have learned so much about myself and wellness since joining CFF.

Lastly, the community of members at CFF is also incredible. If you are looking for a CrossFit gym, then look no further! We can't wait to welcome you and work out beside you! (:

If I could review them a zero I would. I came in to ask questions about the membership when someone got ahold of me they told me the price it was $150 for 12 times a month and that’s the minimum. My friend and I asked if there was a way we could come in for a class see if it would fit for us. There was not an option for that (which many fitness classes in Fargo do) but my friend was willing to pay $40 or so for 45 minutes just to try it out. I asked if there were packages for individuals who could not make 12xs a month work. I have volleyball I am in and another gym and work. Well I asked the lady and she said was very rude she did not answer my questions it was a bad experience overall. At the end she ended up telling me this is not for you. Would not recommend too expensive, overpriced and not willing to work with individuals to help. Seems more about money.

This. Place. Is. Awesome. I started out by joining the Boot Camp and have moved into regular classes 3x/week. I have tried regular gyms and at home programs in the past but never stuck with it. I knew I needed to try something different but to be honest was intimidated with the idea of CrossFit. Don’t be. Jessica and her cool peeps do a great job getting you acclimated from your very first intake meeting and on. I have a LONG ways to go before I come close to what others can do but in three months have lost weight, gained muscle, and been able to do more physically than I ever thought possible. Great people from staff to other members. A little pricier compared to a membership at the gym but the one-on-one help and training make it worthwhile. All around, would recommend to anyone considering finding a gym.

I had a misconception about CrossFit, but, after coming here it has been completely changed. It is a team atmosphere, no judging, All encouragement.

Since 21 yrs old I’ve been a regular gym person. 2 years ago I was in an accident & had been unable to work out.

After deciding I was ready to get back to working out, I decided to try it out. The first couple weeks was one on one, then I stepped into classes.

I’m stronger for sure, but, more importantly, I’m learning how to work out properly for the first time in my life.

There is real support from the coaches and fellow crossfitters. You’re never left guessing what you’re supposed to do, and they easily modify workouts to fit my restrictions.

I wish I could get everyone I know to come in here and just try it & be amazed at how much they can actually do.

Now I go at least 4-5 times per week, often going in twice per day to work on skills that I'd like to accomplish. Everything about this place is awesome! I'm in the best shape I've been in my life!

This is hands down the best gym! The coaches are the best and the members are very encouraging and welcoming. I never really stuck to it at other gyms until I joined crossfit fargo. I started out with the 2 boot camps and then joined the gym. I love it here!

I’ve been a member at CrossFit Fargo since September 2013, a month shy of my 40th birthday. I admit the first time I walked through the doors it was a little intimidating as the WOD that day included box jumps and I never thought I would be able to do that. Despite the trepidation I signed up for a membership. I soon found out through scaling, modifications and showing up regardless of the WOD programming, the movements I thought were impossible soon became the possible. I was encouraged to write down my times/scores and that gave me an incredible visual as far as my fitness progress went – I could see the results!

After 3 ½ years, I really couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else. I love the variety and the challenge that CrossFit provides and CrossFit Fargo has an incredible community. I’m so appreciative to Jess and Jeremy for all that they do to foster a great environment and to all the other Coaches at CFF whose primary goal is to help us become better. I have a genuine feeling that I missed out on something if I wasn’t able to go to class – I never thought I would say that about any workout. I’ve visited other CrossFit boxes when I have traveled and quickly realized how spoiled I am with the facility and equipment that we have – and it is always getting better. If you are hesitant about jumping right into a regular CrossFit class, the boot camps and fitness classes are an excellent way to ease into it. Just try it, you won’t regret it.

Crossfit Fargo isn't just a place to get your daily workout in. Crossfit Fargo is a family, a community and a home away from home. The people, coaches and owners are there to cheer you on when things get hard, during a workout and in everyday life. The coaches genuinely care about your experience, your form and your technique. They are available to answer questions, provide advice and lend a hand when needed. You won't regret attending a WOD at CFF. Once you start, you will find it hard to stop!

CrossFit Fargo staff and members are awesome! It truly is a community like no other. I came to boot camp with really no athletic ability; I had never lifted weights before. From boot camp, I moved into the fitness class, and then to the main class. If you show up and do the work, you will see results.

As someone who was spoiled at the first CrossFit gym I ever joined I'd had yet to find that same sense of community that makes CrossFit CrossFit anywhere else. 9 moves later and it's here in Fargo, ND. CrossFit Fargo has it in spades. Jess and Jeremy are fantastic and they strive to bring the best of everything. Motivation, programming, equipment, you name it they are 3 steps ahead of you. If you are just visiting or looking for a new box to call home, put CrossFit Fargo at the top of the list!

Crossfit Fargo is like a second family.
I moved to fargo two years ago and was crying out for people to work out with that would encourage me and each other.
They spend time with one on one coaching and are always willing to give.
The workouts are hard but do able. They cater to all abilities.

I didn't even know I liked crossfit until I joined CrossFit Fargo four months ago. Now I can't get enough. Everyday I learn something new and get better at the things I could already do. My teens are enjoying the CFFTeens class, too.
