I Have been coming to this gym for a year+ and it was quickly becoming an absolute must for my everyday physical and mental needs. I was working with the most amazing personal trainer,kayla, who was honestly in my opinion a huge asset for this gym. She was knowledgeable in understanding and able to work with and push inexperienced clients without making them feel overwhelmed.
I would also like to mention how important working with crunch and with kayla was for me and my partner. The payments for the Gym and the Trainer in my opinion where alittle hefty but with how amazing she was I was willing to maintan those payments even at the expense of other needs in our life for how happy and healthy we felt.
As of today our trainer was let go and I am absolutely. Heartbroken with how these events have played out i feel like my time and money have not been appreciated and that they have made a massive mistake in letting her go. I am upset becuse I was informed more then likely the payments I have banked for future sessions will not be able to be refunded and my only option would be starting over with a complety new trainer. Who doesn't know my journey and my goals and honestly I feel as a whole my opinion of this company in its entirety has changed from a place that made me feel appreciated and confident to a company that only cares about money and not about the clients experience.

Wake up and open the gym. Just came 8:50am Sunday. Still closed. They say they open at 7am. It has happened many times. You guys don’t value time of your customer.
We have 3 people in our family who has membership. We want our money back. This is a behavior or third world countries. No standards.

Truck driver friendly. Showers hot but I hate when locations don’t have a shelf or at least something from shower head to put your stuff, I hate putting it on the ground. Water fountain cold and all equipment up to par. I’d come back if I’m in the area

Very scummy service here. Signing up and cancelling is a hassle because you have to do both in person. When you sign up you're required to meet with a trainer at a "kick off" which also costs money and a trainer basically tries to get you sign up for lessons so they can make more money. When I cancelled my subscription they charged me for an extra month iwhich is ridiculous. Other people I have talked to have had similar and worse experiences. Crunch just wants your money any way it can get it no matter how scummy and convenience for the user is non existent. It's worth it to pay for a better gym with better customer service.

Mercedes, the front desk person, is so awesome! She is one of the few that welcome customers and is a bright invitation to the gym in the early morning. She is thoughtful and kind.

I did deduct a star due to cleanliness. They recently hired a dude that is making a consistent effort, but the rest of the staff should help do the smaller things to keep the place clean.

Horrible experience. Pressures you into personal training and when you try and cancel they continue to charge you without authorization. Terrible customer service and unclean gym in general. I have been using crunch since they first opened and as a middle aged female I feel comfortable knowing that I’m surrounded by beginner equipment, advanced equipment, real people and a staff that I can count on for assistance. Not to mention, free tanning with the my membership. I use the crunch fitness nationwide when I travel and never have issues. Also the staff are amazing. I was really disappointed with the gym's cleanliness, especially the bathrooms. No matter what time of day or night I visited, they were always dirty. To make matters worse, there were never any sanitary wipes available to clean the benches. I also overheard the staff making fun of some members' clothes, which made me feel uncomfortable. Overall, I didn't feel like this was the right gym for me if employees could talk about customers so freely and harshly. Not to mention some of the female staff always had really bad attitudes I wish I could keep going here but no longer feel comfortable.

The facilities at Crunch Fitness are good, but the $9.99/month membership is misleading. They charge a $48 annual enrollment fee and a $60 annual fee, so it’s not really $9.99 per month.

I signed up for the $9.99 plan, but the staff gave me a more expensive plan, saying I could downgrade within 48 hours. I wasn’t able to do so, which was frustrating since it wasn’t the membership I needed.

On top of that, every time I try to cancel or renew, there’s always a problem. Membership management and customer service need significant improvement. Watch the pictures , the 9.99 membership is misleading , theres is a enrollment fee and annual fee .

Great gym wish the punching bag area had a little more room or even if crunch could make a actual boxing gym area closed off from the rest of the gym would be even better. This gym is awesome. We travel from California for one of the biggest high school wrestling championships in the country at the Fargodome and every time we are in town they have always been accommodating, had great customer service, and great facilities! Crunch Fitness isn’t the place to be. After working out there for couple months I decided to cancel and find another place to work out. As I’m going on vacation I call them to cancel and they say. Oh you have to come in to cancel. Okay fine. A couple weeks later when I get back I go in and cancel. Two weeks later they take another payment from me but now I’m no longer a member. So I’m paying to not work out. Anyways customer service sucks and their music sucks and staff are always on the phone. Great place to leave!

Gym equipment is nice and there’s a lot of space. But management is terrible (not everyone who works there just certain people) - I signed up for a $15 membership and they charged me $26 a month without telling me, when I went to the front desk and asked to be downgraded they made me pay a $20 fee and just said “sorry about the misunderstanding and that it happened but unfortunately you’ll have to pay a $20 fee to downgrade” would not recommend getting a membership here because they will just rip you off and scam you out of your money.

When there is paper towels, the dispensers are often empty/stuck, and no one is doing regular rounds to come around and refill so, spend a lot of time walking back-and-forth across the gym for them.
Since I started coming here in October of ‘24 only one of the hand dryers in the ladies locker room has ever worked. They’re perfectly fine with leaving the gym in disrepair.
There’s an odd trend of people in this gym walking around without shoes which is disgusting and I’m baffled as to why staff completely ignores it (and I’m not talking about people at the squat racks lifting. There are people walking on treadmill/stairmaster’s and walking back across the gym, in and out of the locker rooms *gag*). This is not okay, it’s a public space and with literal millions of shoe options available this is not something that anyone should be doing.
The locker room is always dirty. I either bring my own rags or take rags from the supply closet to clean a locker out to use. The sauna benches are pretty dirty too, they need to be replaced or deep cleaned but considering the floor beneath doesn’t even get swept (I saw a shoe underneath for weeks) that’s unlikely.
This is a gym where I have often seen other members sneakily recording women (myself included) on multiple occasions. I brought this up twice to staff and never heard anything back. I avoid coming to the gym at a certain time because if one member who would follow me and record or just creepily watch me workout and as far as I can tell this was never addressed.
The gym floor itself is always pretty disgusting along with the machines. (Attaching pictures as I sit on one now posting this review)
I don’t blame the staff in particular bc it seems like their morale is low and I can empathize, but the constant state of filth and disrepair is unfair to paying members. This gym should hire a professional cleaning crew.
I travel a lot and it’s why I keep this membership and options are limited in this town. If you’re looking for a gym, I suggest trying the other local options before this crunch in particular.
Lastly, I moved here in October, I asked on multiple occasions for the first three months that my membership be transferred to make this my home gym (it makes it annoying to try to purchase anything or use the massage, chairs, etc.). It’s never been done despite being assured it would be by managers. So my old gym in Miami is still collecting my annual fee despite me consistently coming to this one more than others. Something tells me this is the only thing that will be addressed if at all.

Cleanliness has been issue at this gym for a long time. 6/6, 6/7, and 6/8 there was no paper towels or wipes to clean machines. On 6/13 they have 1 reusable rag to clean the equipment. Absolutely disgusting. 0 stars if that was an option. No paper towels in the bathroom. Disappointed. Canceled due to overall dirty/gross environment.

Very good place for fitness. I’ve been with Crunch for a year, and I enjoy every moment of being there. Good equipment of all kinds. Moreover, Ladelia and the rest of the team are so awesome and welcoming.
