I love working out there. It is very clean. They are always wiping down the machines. The members wipe down the machines they have worked out on too. I always see a cleaning cart person also going around cleaning.
Members are respectful. Staff is helpful and kind.
The huge widows on three of the four walks give it a light, airy and open feeling.
Fun place to go.

This is a very well-maintained gym that is always kept clean but I extremely hate some of the people that come here. There are a lot of kids and teens that just sit around and pretend to work out. I've seen two broccoli haired kids just sitting on a bench in the dumbbell area fixing their hair in the mirror for 30 minutes trying to catch the attention of girls. I've seen old people just sitting on the machines doing nothing but chat with their friends for much longer than necessary. Ask them to free up the machine/area and they act like you're bothering them. People here lack etiquette and seem to come mainly for the "social image" aspect of the gym. The gym is crowded enough as it is and I'd rather get my workout in quickly without having to deal with superficial people and their nonsense. Definitely would much prefer to go to the YMCA in Bismarck where the crowd isn't insufferable.

Pay $65 dollars a month for two people, for this price you gain access to the yoga and fitness classes which I think makes it a good deal. However, locker room often smells awful and gym is always crowded even late at night or early in morning.

What makes it tough to keep a working moving is there’s always kids messing around the weight areas. Great to see them working out & wanting to be healthy! Just wish there was a way to enforce gym etiquette or require supervision.

As many others have said they keep it very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The digital scale has been missing in the Men's steam room for a couple months now. Wish it would return. Another thing I like is the atmosphere is not judgmental. People of all sizes and strength are able to get their work in no issues.

Closes at 7PM on weekends which is totally bizarre. Staff constantly accuse me of dunking on the hoops. Kicked my friend out for wearing flops in the weight room. A random volleyball team who hadn’t scheduled a time for the gym got the staff to kick me off the court, even though i was there first. It’s the closing at 7PM for me though. Completely bizarre, ridiculous, and insane

This gym is the best gym in the area. It doesn't have racquetball and the pool like the YMCA in Bismarck, but it's nice. It does get a little crowded at around 7 so it's good to come there at around 8 (on weekdays)

My only complaint is that the weight lifting area isn't very big and not a lot of mirrors so its very difficult to workout when its super busy. But besides that this is an awesome gym! Love this new facility! All the equipment is clean and the staff is very friendly. I really appreciate that the weight lifting section is so open and makes you feel more comfortable to lift in a typically male-dominate space. I do wish they would have made the gym bigger, especially more room for ab and floor work, but we can't have everything we want.

Terrible customer service for a “family” oriented facility. And when I address my terrible experience with management staff I recieved nothing except “I am sorry you feel that way.” Due to the close proximity it is convenient to go to this location but after being treated the way I did I would rather drive the extra ten miles to the Bismarck location.

I wish they had built the track bigger, like around the outside of the building and wider. The steam room sucks. It is wet, not steamy or hot. But there’s lots of machines! The weight area is ok. Not a lot of room if you want to do sit ups and stuff. It’s awesome that I can use my account here to go to the ymca in Bismarck and use their pool!

Great gym. Several basketball courts, lots of cardio equipment, and a great selection of free weights to use. My favorite thing about this gym is that there is SPACE to use free weights. Many gyms provide just enough space to walk between equipment, leaving little space for any activity involving weights without a bench. Not the case with Family Wellness. Love it here.

Although I do not have kids, I see that they have childcare available as well, which is awesome. There are also a lot of classes throughout the day that you can take for free as a member. The workers at the front desk are very friendly. Also, the entire facility is kept very clean. A great addition to Mandan.
