After 9 years coached by Dan I have a lot to be thankful for. At 72 I am strong and more active than I've been in years. Video feedback is continuous and helpful to keep me focused and motivated to reach my goals. Apart from videos, I can tell Dan of medical issues that arise apart from my training and Dan adjusts my training accordingly. He uses his expertise to modify something if needed yet keeps letting me shoot for new PR's as I am able. I've had several PR's over the past couple months and I think that is because Dan nor I let age dictate what I can do. I look forward to what's to come and I thank Dan for that.

Training here has been a great experience. Coach Dan is knowledgeable, patient, and consistently well prepared. His programming is structured, effective, and easy to follow, which has helped me stay consistent in a way I never managed with other programs or apps. Heβs excellent at breaking down form and giving small, precise corrections that immediately improve technique and confidence.
The members are welcoming, the environment is supportive, and the gym is always clean. Itβs a place I genuinely enjoy training, and I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend Dan as a coach! I've gotten significantly stronger while receiving online coaching from him over the last 1.5 years. He's helped me work through a few injuries, adapting exercises/programming/technique as necessary. His feedback and cues are helpful. Programming and feedback from the last session are always received well in advance of the next session. Monthly video calls are helpful for staying on the same page and clearing up any questions. He's also a really nice and fun dude, which adds to the enjoyment of working with him.

Dan is a phenomenal strength coach. I began working with him because I was experiencing nagging aches and pains from training on my own. Before working with a coach, I thought I wouldnβt need one long-term, but now I canβt imagine training without his guidance. His technical feedback is precise and practical, and Iβve made huge improvements in my lifting form. He listens closely to my goals and designs thoughtful, progressive programming with smart variations and timely deloads, so I keep improving without recurring aches. He adjusts the plan when travel or deadlines arise and keeps training engaging and sustainable. Beyond the numbers, heβs helped me build confidence and a durable routine; Iβve never felt stronger or more capable. Strength training with a coach has been the best investment Iβve made in my health and physical abilities. If you want a coach who combines expertise, clear communication, and genuine care for your progress, I highly recommend Dan.

I've worked with Dan online since December 2020 after attending his 1-Day Barbell Clinic looking to get my lifts tuned up (its 2024 now). I initially sought him out for Starting Strength, as I had been lifting using the method and coaching some athletes and other individuals in my spare time. His facility is awesome, everything you need to get strong. It's clean, well maintained, and private.
During that initial session, he had my lifts dialed in quickly and we discussed programming ideas. He sent me off with a couple of weeks of online programming and an in depth review and additional resources related to the things we discuss during my session (which I still reference today)
From there, I signed up for his online coaching and haven't stopped since. I'm coming up on 650 completed workouts. What separates Dan from a lot of coaches is his ability to navigate a lifter through varying degrees of training advancement, isn't afraid to try new methods, and has taught me a lot about working through aches, pains, life stressors, and other dumb stuff I find myself doing. I look forward to our monthly check-in call where we discuss training, life, business, and movie quotes.
Lastly, and maybe most importantly: a couple of years ago, I signed my 58-year-old mother, Donna, up with him for online coaching after attempting to coach her myself with not much success. She was apprehensive, to say the least. She has always dealt with back issues, and overall wasn't ever excited to train, but knew she needed to get stronger as she ages. After meeting with Dan on the phone, he made her feel comfortable that he could develop a plan that would meet her where she is at. A couple of years later she is still at it, making progress, and genuinely enjoys the training process. She is stronger, can keep up with her grandkids and dogs better, and is confident in going and getting her training done on her own now. It has been awesome to witness.
Can't thank Dan enough for all he has done over the last few years, and I can't recommend him enough to anyone in the Fargo area or from afar!

I really appreciated having Dan as my coach. He helped me refine my form in the squat, overhead press, deadlift, and bench press, and gain confidence in those movements. I especially enjoyed our monthly 1-1 conversations which were included in the online coaching membership. Dan answered all of my questions, and provided valuable insights. He also help me adapt some of my technique as needed to address issues I had. For instance, I had an issue with feeling my elbows during squats and pressing. Dan showed me a new way to hold the bar for the squat that eliminated that issue all together. In addition to being a great coach, he is also a likable and kind person, which makes a big difference. I would strongly recommend him as a coach.

Dan is a very good coach, and I highly recommend him! His programming helped me with managing elbow pain to the point where it has virtually disappeared. I would have not been able to be pain free if not for him.

Glad I was able to get some in-person coaching with Dan. He gave me helpful feedback on my lifts and good info on related topics like programming and managing pain, while being attentive to my concerns. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in heavy compound lifting or strength acquisition.

Dan is one of the best trainers I have worked with. Very patient, very very good at his job, leads by example. No matter what your level of training is, he will customize your plan to make you give your best. In just 8 months, I feel STRONGER and have gotten better results than anything I tried before. My husband joined in shortly after me and loves his experience as well. The gym is well-equipped and has great access if you want to work out after hours. If you want to improve your fitness and get stronger, don't think twice and get started with fifty one strong NOW. It will be the best decision you make for your health.

if you are on the edge about spending money on coaching just do it you will not regret it. Working with Coach Raimondi as taught me so much about the main lifts and how they function as well as how to preform them in the most efficient manner. This is the best money I have ever spent on training. I have a much better understanding of form and programming. Coach Raimondi is the best strength coach in the area and is a very helpful person that will go out of his way to make sure he is helping you as much as he can.

I went here for a 3 hour coaching session on how to perform the lifts correctly and how to setup the programming for strength training. Dan is a top-notch instructor. The 3 hours flew by quickly. He provided great follow up and provided additional resources to keep me on track. It was money well-spent to make sure I'm doing the lifts correctly and safely.

I started working online with Dan in march of 2020 with the main intention of getting stronger. Dan did not disappoint. with daily form checks and weekly programming your bound to reach your goals. Dan has helped my form on all of the basic barbell lifts. even though hes coaching me online he has managed to teach me the Olympic lifts. Not to say that the process is done of me getting stronger but since working with Dan I am amazed how much stronger i have gotten. I've got more results in 5 months of training with him then years of training with other coaches. If you have any strength or health related goals Dan is your coach.

If I could give Dan 10 stars, I would. Dan is not only extremely knowledgable about strength training but he also does a fantastic job at engaging with clients in ways that addresses many of the cognitive and emotional barriers faced when strength training.

Highly recommend! Raimondi Strength is phenomenal. Regardless of age or experience, anyone even vaguely considering improving their physical well being should see Dan.
My wife and I had been barbell training at home using Starting Strength methodology for about a year when we decided we needed the guidance of a coach to help us continue our strength development. We came to see Dan for a one day clinic where he coached us through each of the main lifts (squat, press, deadlift and bench press) and taught us fundamental principles of programming and nutrition. This personalized one-on-one coaching and teaching was invaluable to our training. Dan is professional, articulate, and friendly. His gym is very clean, well set up and has high quality equipment.

I highly recommend Dan if you're interested in getting into weight training or if you've already been training but would like some guidance on how to continue progressing.
My parents, who are both in their 60s, and I met with Dan to get our form checked and have him set up our programming. He did a great job of teaching the lifts, and was very thorough. My parents hadn't performed these barbell movements before and he did very well at guiding them through the movements.
He was very kind and very open to any questions we had regarding training and nutrition. If you're in the Fargo area and are interested in getting stronger, he will be a great resource for you.

Haphazardly fooling around on weight machines and on pieces of cardio equipment is not training...it's exercise. Strong people do not merely exercise, they train...and usually with barbells! They plan their workouts and they track their progress. I highly recommend you contact Coach Dan Raimondi to learn how to train so you can get stronger and enjoy your life more!
What will Coach Dan teach you? He'll teach you how to train with barbells in a safe and efficient manner. He'll teach you how to plan and log your training. He'll teach you how to get strong. He will push you when you need it, but he will also reign you in when you get a little over-zealous. He does all this in his clean and efficient gym either one-on-one or in a small group setting.
This is simple stuff, yet so many trainers love to make things complicated. Anyone can write up an exercise routine that leaves you soaked in sweat and ready to pass out. But it takes a highly skilled professional to teach anyone, no matter what age or experience level, how to systematically become stronger, using barbells, and how to do so without getting injured.
In addition to Dan being very highly educated and experienced in his field, he is very easy to get along with. He is a great guy and a humble family man. Whether you are a middle-aged dad like me, a teenager who needs to get strong for sports or an elderly person who is feeling their strength and quality of life diminish, Dan has the experience and passion to make your life better by dramatically improving your strength.
Hiring a professional like Dan to guide you as you learn how to get strong is certainly more expensive than joining a big gym. However, it is truly an investment in yourself. You will become far more knowledgeable and capable and you will get stronger. When you look at the time and personal attention Coach Dan gives you, you quickly realize that you are getting quite a bargain, actually. Case in point, my health has improved so much under Coach Dan that my health and life insurance rates are now lower. So I'm experiencing a better quality of life and the training is now paying for itself! It's a win-win!

Being a coach in the field myself, it was great to be coached by someone so knowledgeable about barbell training. Not only did Dan do a great job coaching me through lifts, he also spent addintinional time talking about different programming methods. If you are at all interested in the Starting Strength Method, Raimondi Strength is your place.

My fiance and I made a 3 hour drive up to Fargo for a session with Dan and it was well worth the drive. Dan was very thorough and easy to understand, and was especially helpful for my fiance who had very little weightlifting experience. He also sent a great follow up email after the session with notes and cues for each SS lift for both my fiance and myself.
Our session lasted almost 3 hours and could've gone longer if we didn't have to leave for another was very ocommitment. Dan was open to answering all of our questions about not only the lifts but also about programming, diet, and supplements.
The only recommendation I would make is that it wouldn've been nice if there was a water fountain or water cooler in the gym.
