I don’t know if they did that on purpose to make it seem that the customer is “strong,” but the weights on the cables are totally inaccurate. Each thing should be labeled 5lbs, which is the actual weight, not 10lbs. I normally do 45lbs for my upper traps, but in this planet fitness I was doing 90lbs, obviously suggesting fake weights, and you can see that each weight is actually 5lbs. On the other hand, one of the cleanest planet fitness I’ve seen, so good job cleaning crew.

I like working out here but the cleanness of this place is not good the girl’s bathrooms are dirty and there’s garbage on the floor in the bathrooms and there’s always dirt on the floor and the machine are dirty and dusty and the staff are friendly but they don’t do much of cleaning it’s starting to look like the y lazy I don’t know if the staff cleans every day but the floors are still dirty and mates are dirty my mom and I cleaned it and there was dust and hair and dirt in between the mats if the manager is such a good manager like she says well not really then why don’t we see the staff clean or walk around to make sure everything is cleaned and picked up she carries around a clipboard and doesn’t help clean with staff just poor management

I paid upfront for a year, despite this they were charging me monthly for awhile and when they finally got that to stop I was told I’d get a refund for the additional charges. I travel a lot for work, and have been to all of the Planet Fitness locations in ND, SD, MT, and MN. I can say, with confidence, that Minot is the best PF location I’ve visited.

The gym is spacious and clean, the amount/variety of equipment is great, and the members and staff are friendly.

*I also like how this location is a stand-alone building (a majority of PF locations are placed into existing strip malls - this normally means parking issues and poor attempts to squeeze equipment into spaces retroactively).

This branch is different. Although located conveniently off of Broadway/83, it has its own dedicated parking lot with no attached neighbors. You can tell that the Minot location was planned out methodically and there are many small touches missing from other PF branches.

The equipment is placed logically throughout the gym, in areas that make sense. The “PF Spa” area (for tanning, hydro massage, etc) is separated and a tad more serene than the rest of the gym.

Now with the two snotty brunette girls behind the counter, there is zero point to having a black card since they refuse to give you coins for the massage chairs, insist you come beg for every service with a rudeness I have not been subjected to before. I hate going now because it's a roulette wheel of whether it will be great or totally ruin my day. I wish the phone number wasn't just the front desk but rather someone who cared.

Tanning beds often broke down and could take months to repair. Time to make some changes. Pay better, bring in technician to fix tanning beds. Clean every 2 hours. Have 2 staff on at all times. It is now cleaner but trash overflow still an issue. Plus corporate must bring in a real technician to fix tanning bed 4 and hydro water massage bed. Is manager not taking care of these issues? Find a more productive manager.

Extremely rude, associate interrupted incessantly when inquiring how to cancel, insulted my wife stating if we had created multiple profiles “there’s nothing I can do if you did that.” Had my wife not been interrupted, she would have explained this was not the case from the get go. Clean and friendly environment. While it does lack a few pieces of equipment if you know what you’re doing you can easily use other machines to work the same muscle groups. I called asking to cancel my account and possibly get a refund for services that i could no longer use. Kaitlyn was less than helpful. I asked about a refund and she said there was nothing she could do. I asked about a corporate number and she told me to google it. I asked her to cancel my account and she said i have to come in after I repeatedly told her I no longer live in town. She clearly did not care about the issue as she was very nonchalant when speaking. I believe she need more training in customer service and on the company policies and procedures.

I went to PF to meet with Kenisha, she was awesome.... she manages everything well from what I could see. Everything was organized and clean. I was surprised to see so many people there and I think she knew them all by name !...and spoke to each one as they entered and exited... helping to make everyone feel special. After being a college student with access to a very nice gym I can say I'm impressed with this one and will be holding a membership. The water jet massage thing was awesome and you have access to tanning beds and red light therapy. You can't beat the price but I do wish their hours were longer.
