My favorite course in town and the price is reasonable. The past few weeks booking a tee time is almost impossible because they don't answer their phones. Booking online would be okay but for someone like me I like verbal verification that I have a tee time.

The course is nice. But some days you would have a better chance getting hold of the president of the United States then the clubhouse to get a tee time.

Beautiful course that really came back strong upon this year's reopening. Prices are reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I recommend this course to anyone looking for a good 9-hole round in the Grand Forks area.

Below average course. Uneven fairways, torn up greens etc... cheap prices but that's the only good part

The course is built on alkaline flats so the growth on the course is pretty bad. The grass and trees don't grow very well just based on the fact the soil has too much alkaline. There's often a lot of hard ground, and dead spots in the grass, even at the end of the summer. The course is old but hasn't changed in 3 decades. In fact its probably gotten worse. The course is a practice course for UND's golf team and open to the public. The driving range is next to the frontage road and it faces the sun so if its a nice sunny day your not going to see where you've hit your ball because the sun is always in your face. The other big problem with the driving range is you often get honked at by drivers passing by thinking they're funny. ITS ANNOYING! This course is right next to Interstate 29, Demers Ave, and touches 42nd street, all 3 are VERY busy roads with traffic, and the construction and growth around here takes away from the golf. Golf should be relaxing, and this course has a constant traffic and construction noise issue.
All in all, Its a cheap and easy course, and not meant to be a country club. The condition is poor in the spring, and ok later in the year but its a busch league course at best. I'm sure the University curbs the amount of $$$ they invest into this course but its a nice neighborhood 9 hole course to get your golf fix in when your strapped for time.

The course has horrible conditions in the spring time. It gets better as the year goes on, but they still have a lot of drainage issues. The course is very fairly priced. The fairways are stuck together very tightly with almost nothing as a divider between them. A bad shot will put you in the way of someone else on a different hole. Still the fair price offsets most of these problems. The typical players on the course are very polite especially compared to another course in the city of Grand Forks. The price and the how friendly the other players are make this a good course if your looking to save money.
