I originally paid Garrett for multiple sessions in advance and things great to start, but slowly things got worse and worse. He started missing sessions and when he would show up, he pushed me too hard. At one point I was gearing up to pick dates to have more sessions and he divulged that he’d been taking painkillers and that he’d “worked on much much worse.” We agreed on a payment plan to pay me back for the sessions that I no longer wanted due to his pill use. He neglected to pay me back and started to ignore me. When I tried to request again and he declined I gave the gym that claims him a review and he started to text me. At that point he even admitted to being on the pain meds once or twice….if he’s willing to admit for once or twice….how many is it actually?

I have been training with Garrett at Xtreme for nearly 6 months. I went in with pretty major osteoarthritis of both knees due to ACL surgeries, my left one having the surgery TWICE. I had limited to no mobility/flexibility and plenty of pain. My knees would snap crackle and pop. I could not even do a body weight squat. I am now down nearly 40 pounds I can kick my leg up as high as my head or bend down to the floor with ease . I am deadlifting, light squatting and more. I have little to no pain and am now in a physically condition i really thought i would never be able to achieve, and we aren't even "there" yet. Garrett really understands which exercises should be worked on for your goals, when to add weight, and will give you that push that most people need to get going. You just need to dedicate yourself to your sessions and you will accomplish whatever your goal is.

Garrett is a great personal trainer. He makes sure to make the sessions not just business but also like you’re interacting with a person. He has no problem telling you when you need to get back on track and what you need to do yourself. He’s honest and helpful, and the environment of Xtreme Fitness is just great. Everyone in there means business and gets it done. Even though everyone is locked in no one will hesitate to have a short, enjoyable conversation. Great personal trainer and great gym. I’ve been going for about a year and really don’t think I could’ve gotten a better deal or a better experience. Try your first session and see if you love it here too.

I’ve been working with Garrett for the past year, and the experience has been incredible. From the very first session, he took the time to understand my fitness goals, any limitations I might have, and created a personalized plan tailored specifically to me. Whether I’m focusing on strength training or overall fitness, their expertise shows through in every workout.
What stands out most is Garretts ability to balance challenge and support. They push me just enough to make progress, but always ensure I’m using proper form to avoid injury. Hes also great at keeping the workouts varied and interesting, so I never feel like I’m doing the same thing all the time. I’ve seen noticeable improvements in my strength, energy levels, and overall fitness, and I feel more confident in my ability to reach my goals.

Fantastic experience all around! I’ve been coming here for over a year and the staff are so knowledgeable about several different aspects of fitness and health. I recently got a surgery and Garrett helped to adapt my workouts to fit my post-op requirements. You won’t find a better trainer anywhere!

Garrett is knowledgeable, professional and an overall SMART trainer to work with! He has helped me reach my fitness goals! He corrects anything I am doing incorrectly and pays attention to ME during my session to make sure I don’t form any injuries! Thanks to him, I am addicted to working out! He has pushed and challenged me past my limits, not only has my body become stronger physically, but he has pushed me more mentally! I’ve learned so much in the past 7-8 months training with him and I’m looking forward to more progress and challenges that my body is capable of doing!

Garrett is awesome. I presented him with my goals a year ago and he set forth a plan to help me achieve them. To date we have reached or surpassed the goals the we set last year. Garrett also does stuff that other trainers don’t do, like measurements, quarterly pictures and a journaled notebook of every workout. He definitely goes the extra mile for his client.

I heard about Garrett through a friend, and at first I was intimidated because Garrett was a professional basketball player and he is extremely intense with his own fitness, but I've been pleasantly surprised he's able to customize a program that's perfect for me.
