My time with Alloy has been nothing short of spectacular, blowing my expectations out of the water. The gym is extremely clean and you can tell the employees take pride in both their work and the workplace itself. The workouts are functionally focused and can easily be fit into the busiest of schedules. I had my hesitations about joining yet another gym, but this place offers something different that I haven't gotten anywhere else- camaraderie. Alloy has been a gamechanger in my physical and mental health!

The team at Alloy is great! They are flexible in tailoring your workout to your skill level, friendly, and knowledgeable. The workouts are awesome, different, and promote consistency. Not to mention, the facility is very clean and the atmosphere is great for breaking a sweat!

I was impressed by their marketing - customized, small group sessions for middle aged and older clients! That’s me - senior (with severe osteoporosis), getting back in shape after major surgery earlier this year and months of PT. I made it thru 5 sessions with trainers who wouldn’t listen, wouldn’t adjust the day’s exercises, and had to be prompted to explain each exercise (I knew that I was doing it incorrectly which would be ineffective and possibly lead to injury). They consistently started me with 20+ lb weights when I couldn’t even do the exercise without weight! And this was in class sizes of 1 (three times) and 2 (two times). (Do check that out as there were rarely clients in the hour before or after my scheduled time - if you are already fit, you will be getting almost private sessions for cost of group sessions.)
Today I was charged an additional $359, as per contract. Read that contract carefully - you will be charged for 2nd month even if you quit within two weeks of their program, as I did. It was a $530 learning mistake, but I’m glad I was only extremely sore for several weeks rather than a sustaining a more serious, lasting injury. Although their CEO brags on videos about high fees x 3 year retention, this franchise made good money providing no training for six weeks!
I’ve adjusted. I already had light 1-2-3 dumbells, some bands, etc. (plus a treadmill, rowing machine, and smart bike) at home. I’m following some great free and almost free programs on web - programs hat are living up to their claims as being suitable gor peopke 50+. I’m getting stronger, without pain, and at a pace my body can handle. I never got the “class” vibe they promised since the place was empty. And I do wish I had someone making sure I had correct form (but wasn’t getting that either.
In short, beware. Hope my review helps others assess whether this is right for you. (I wasn’t going to leave a review; they emailed me go ask me to.)

The trainers are great and always personalize the workout so it is challenging for me but not frustrating. When I started I hadn’t exercised in a long time and the trainers were patient and very supportive. Each workout is different which keeps it interesting. I always leave a workout feeling proud of what I accomplished.

I cannot say enough great things about Alloy. I was VERY unsure at first, but they made a believer out of me. If you stick to the plan with consistency, the results will be there. Almost 30 pounds in 11 months! If I can make this happen, so can YOU!!

I have been coming to Alloy for a year now and I cant say enough how much I love coming here! Each coach brings something different to the table but everyone is supportive of your goals and holding you accountable to them. They take the time to answer your questions and give you feedback, they have been fundamental in my progress in my fitness journey.

I have been coming to Alloy for 10 months now and this is my first time sticking with a workout routine. Each of the coaches bring something different to the table and match your energy, the coaches are a big reason why I have stuck with this journey as long as I have!

I definitely recommend working out at Alloy! My goals have been to get stronger, lose excess weight, and increase my energy. But I needed motivation and accountability. Alloy is helping me work towards these goals! The trainers are supportive and the workouts are challenging. As a busy mom of 4 kids, a wife, and an educator, I wasn’t successful at working out on my own at home. Making the commitment to workout at Alloy is totally worth it!

This gym is unlike any other place I've gone to. While there are set exercises that everyone will do, everything is customized to you and your ability. The coaches remember you by name and push you to your fullest potential. I love the small class sizes and the clean atmosphere. I've been going for a month and already feel stronger. I'm so happy I made this choice for myself!

Alloy Personal Training is the best. When I started I was the basic couch potato with no energy for anything. Mark and Kyle heard my goals and created workouts that make my new routine challenging and seeing results. Mark is probably the best trainer I’ve had and the reason I come every session. I’ve also made some great friendships with the community. Alloy creates a positive atmosphere and community events to meet everyone. Making the decision to invest in myself was the best decision I’ve made.

Alloy is a game changer! I’ve tried many exercise plans both in my home and other facilities. Alloy changes the workout daily so you never get bored doing the same exercises every day. Plus, the personal touch you receive from their instructors is great. The hour goes swiftly but you’re very challenged whether you’re in top notch shape or need help getting back to your old self or maybe your new self. Also, there’s no age issues as you compete with your own ability not others. My instructor has been Mark and he’s a great guy, in unbelievable shape and does a great job getting to know each of us very well plus adjusts exercises to what we’re able to do. He’s got a great personality and his enthusiasm is infectious. The classes are generally three or four people and looks to helping many of us to get in great shape. I would definitely recommend Alloy to anyone looking to improve their physical and mental health!

Alloy is exactly what I was looking for. Small class personal training while holding me accountable. Second workout done. Phew. Mark is exactly what I was looking for in a personal trainer/coach. He pushes you to grow while urging you to slow down when he deems appropriate. Great vibe and music!

Everything and more-personalized workout-Mark pushes you, corrects and modifies form, is punctual, fun, challenging. Kyle reaches out, follows through, takes time to explain things. I immediately felt included by everyone. Thank you for helping me find a balance in my life.

After battling thru a chronic health condition, I found my fitness level at an all time low. Mark and the crew have challenged me and helped to modify workouts so I can be successful. I have already made meaningful gains in just over a month. Thanks Mark!

I always hated going to gyms because they are super intimidating, I dont know what I’m doing, and I lose motivation to keep going. Alloy has been such a great alternative to a traditional gym! The classes are small (6 people max), you are taught how to perform each exercise correctly, and the trainers are super fun and motivating- especially Mark! I have worked out more in the past month, than I have in my 30 years of life. I like the breakdown of their body scan system to show me where I started and I am already seeing results after one month. The classes are tough, but I am always empowered to keep going further, and then I do it! Definitely give Alloy a try if you have ever wanted to look into personal training.

Kind, qualified trainers in a supportive environment. If you’re someone who struggles to work out consistently on your own/at home, but doesn’t do well in a large gym or large class environment either, and also can’t afford one-on-one personal training, this is a perfect happy medium. After about a month I’m starting to actually enjoy working out (but shhh don’t tell them I said that part 😅), and I always look forward to seeing the other members who work out during my same time slot. They also don’t make you sign an extended contract, so it’s definitely worth a shot if you’re thinking about it! I’m happy this option now exists in our community!

I absolutely love Alloy. They work with you not at you. Can’t do it this way? Here, try this and we will work up to that. It’s been a very positive experience for me so far and I can’t wait to see how far I can go with their help.
