There’s a reason this place has a constant 5 star rating. I was visiting for work and this studio was very close to me. Sherri was my instructor and was very welcoming when i arrived. I like to leave reviews that are informative to what questions others might have because they can’t always be answered on their website.

I took the 12:00 lunchtime flow. Class was $15 and was easy to pay via Venmo. Towel, mat, and blocks are free and included with your payment. I was looking for a hot yoga but they informed me when i walked in that this wasn’t a hot yoga studio but it was very warm in there which i enjoyed. Class was small and intimate and Sherri gave great direction. I haven’t gone to a class in awhile and it’s definitely a great studio for all levels.

While i LOVE a lavender towel provided after class in hot yoga they don’t have that but she did walk around with a lavender fan to cool us off after class. A great touch. Left feeling better than i did and set me up for a very tranquil rest of my day. I would definitely come back.

Annex Yoga Studio was my first try at yoga as I have been focusing on an overall healthier lifestyle. I could not say enough great things about the staff that teaches classes here. Everyone is super supportive and helpful. I would especially recommend trying a Saturday morning class with Mina. She will walk around and recommend the slightest adjustments to positions you are doing that really help you be more effective and understand the intent (which for me is so important).

My GF and I visited as out-of-town guests from Columbus. We enjoyed this practice and would do it again when we visit Cincinnati again.

I enjoyed the ease of checkin, payment and the vibe of the studio. The vinyasa was guided beautifully for both a beginner or advanced student. I loved the class because after years of yoga- there was a uniqueness to this class, some poses I’ve never even tried before. I highly suggest this studio!! Happy to try another class soon!

Came down to Cincy for the fireworks and wanted to find a place for yoga. I found Annex through a Google search and fell in love with the experience. The owner quickly answered my email questions and I was warmly greeted at the start of the class. Her yoga session was challenging, yet exciting and she had the coolest playlist. I will definitely be returning when we come back down to Cincinnati next time! Well done, Annex. Much love from Port Huron, Michigan. Namaste! 🧘🏻‍♀️

I love this studio. It has a great vibe. The teachers provide you with excellent verbal directions and the space is very cool - soothing and pleasant. Can’t wait to get back in the studio. Been doing online classes. Mina is my fav instructor but they are all fantastic! Weekend classes are a bargain!

Unique space with good instruction. A more laid back Baptiste style. Connected to a gym so you are going to hear some weights drop at times.

Great classes at an affordable price, I love that they allow drop-ins so there's no long-term commitment, as I may move cities,, but as long as I live in Cincinnati I will pick Annex as my yoga studio!

I could not have asked for a better yoga studio as a beginner. The instructors at Annex have helped me make progress faster than I ever could have imagined. There is a great sense of community and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. Give it a try sometime, you won't regret it!

I have been practicing in the Annex Yoga Studio space since 2013. Though under a new name and "new" management (manager previously taught under the old name) it remains the same welcoming environment that provides yogis with great instructors and a variety of high quality classes. Beyond providing an inclusive and calming space to practice I love what the studio does to foster a sense of community. From the minute you walk in the door you are treated like family. Instructors take the time to get to know their students often staying well after class to help students with challenging poses. They encourage interaction outside of the studio and provide workshops and other community building activities (potlucks, movie night, etc.) throughout the year. There may even be cake after class from time to time! Would highly recommend to anybody at any level looking to begin or expand their yoga practice.

While in Cincinnati for a nearby conference, I reluctantly signed up for an early-morning yoga session at Annex with some of my colleagues. I had never done yoga before, so I was worried I would feel awkward, out of place, and would need to spend too much of my energy continuing to look around at others to make sure I was doing the right thing. One hour later, all my fears and preconceived notions melted away! Mina did such a good job of describing each move and position, allowing me to easily visualize what I needed to do, without incessantly craning my neck to look around or look up at her; allowing me the freedom to focus on my own movements and positioning. She gracefully made her way through the room, occasionally adjusting me ever-so-slightly (or significantly, but always gently) to help me perfect each movement. By the time we were done, I felt refreshed, accomplished, and confident; and I owe it to Mina! My yoga-veteran colleagues seemed to have enjoyed their experience just as much as me. I highly recommend you trying this place out; whether you're a rookie like me, or a seasoned veteran--you're bound to enjoy your experience.

I've been going to this location for over 1 year. The name recently changed to annex yoga, but the studio manager and teachers remain the same. Great place to practice, with a welcoming space and instructors. I usually practice on days with Mina, Gene or Allison and all are amazing. The instructors do a great job of bringing variety to each class and I learn something new each week.

Loved attending this studio/Mina’s classes when I lived in Cincinnati! I went in knowing very little about proper yoga form. During my year attending the studio, I learned form and got a great workout each class. Having moved, I’m still looking for a class/studio that balances teaching with power yoga flow like this one does. Definitely recommended to most anyone looking to do yoga in Cincinnati!

I love Annex yoga. I am a mechanic, and had never done yoga before when I started coming to Mina's classes several years ago. I've kept coming back because all of the classes, instructors, and fellow students are wonderful. I cannot recommend Annex Yoga enough. Whatever your background or skill level, you will be welcomed and challenged at this studio.

I have been at this studio for almost 4 years. Unbelievable owner/teacher. This is where I learned and continue to learn and grow. All the teachers here are amazing. The studio speaks for itself with its high windows and old Cincinnati brick charm.

Amazing downtown space for power yoga with knowledgeable instructors and a passionate owner. I’ve been practicing at this location for years and am thrilled Mina is continuing classes here as Annex Yoga. Not only have I gained physical and mental strength through my regular practice here, I’ve gained a welcoming and friendly community!

Insider tip: Don’t be spooked by downtown parking - I can usually find a spot right out front on Shillito place.

If I could give this studio more than 5 stars, I would! I highly recommend this studio and their amazing teachers. By far the BEST yoga flows, teachers and community I have ever experienced.

The yoga style is fit for all levels - I appreciated the open and accessible sequences when I first joined, it was not intimidating at all. I also appreciated how the teachers work-shopped and broke down more advanced postures as I progressed through my practice.

The teachers are fantastic - I recommend all of them, but if it's your first class definitely try Mina's Friday 6pm class. She is the studio owner and puts a lot of heart and soul into her class. Allison B's classes are also fantastic - creative flows and amazing music. Alison A's classes are also lovely with great music!

The community is one of a kind. Teachers learn your name, tailor the class to YOUR needs, and love to spend time with you outside of class as well. I was new to Cincinnati and this studio became my second home.

Give it a try, you won't regret it!!
