I had such a great experience... I'm not sure where to start!
Communication- it's next to impossible to not know what is going on at the gym! The app is full of information; everything from how busy the gym currently is to suggestions for workouts. You can view your contract and payments all online!
Cody did my intake. He was very forth coming with all the terms and conditions- there are no surprises! He was very personable, yet professional.
Let's talk about space! I love the two studio rooms where you can workout privately or join a class!
Everything is so clean and organized.
I feel very comfortable and welcome there!

After working out here 4-5 days a week for 4 months I can leave a quality review. The gym is very clean and well kept. You will meet a lot of nice people here and make new friends. Most people are friendly enough if you have a question they will help you. They have all the equipment you could need in a spacious building so you aren’t working out over top of each other.

Anytime fitness is a great place to go to not only work on your physical health journey but also you meet in my experience people who are willing to help you if you're struggling with something or need some advice. I have enjoyed my time working out here and met a lot of great people the manager and trainers are really nice and understanding which in my experience is honestly all anyone can ask for. I enjoy not only just going with my friends but I have also enjoyed talking to and meeting new people who have honestly made my experience better

This gym is a ripoff. After you cancel your membership they continue to steal money out of your account. When you try to get a refund you can’t talk to a real person and get stuck with an automated voice with none of the options leading you to real help. Do yourself and stay away from this gym. If I could give no stars for this place I would. Now they are harassing us about trying to get more money from us after the membership canceled. I feel this business is dishonest and would not recommend going there. I have reported this business to the BBB and I encourage everyone that has had this same problem to do the same.

Was a member for 2yrs. Contract expired in 2yrd. I chose to opt out not renewing. Personal chose to write anything he wanted for not re uping. That faculty is a nasty place. Never can get ahold of anyone by phone. Dirty not friendly. I would never recommend to anyone. They care nothing about you.

The gym is not terrible. The staff is quite nice and helpful for any questions you might have. The equipment is well kept and everyone tends to clean it. The selection is pretty standard but not special. I will say the cardio equipment could have some more variety but it is okay. The size of the gym is quite small but still feels spacious.
The one BIG flaw with it is the price. You do get a lot for the price but man is it pricey. If you can afford it then I feel this gym would work for some since the amount of people when I went was pretty low but being locked into a contract is just not for me.

Iv been going here for a while now when it first opened it was great however as time has grown things are down on the maintenance view..
Overall decent equipment and roomy...
Most are very friendly ..

Complaints that I have are the clean ness examples are trash overflowing most days,no TP ,paper towels in bathroom, low cleaning supplies,floors not cleaned,lights not replaced,A/C not the best it's hot in the summer time and cold in the winter, bathroom not cleaned well,no hand soap most days, no new equipment has been brought in, work out bands haven't been replaced after braking,no disinfectant wipes available most Days, Tv are off,no music, sometimes they mess up your monthly payments,no staffing available to help at the help desk, and cuppel other things ..
I'd been debating whether or not to update this as I had been 100 happy when it frist open however staffing changes offen and things have gone down hill a lot with in the last cuppel years.
I'm manly there with my friends and what little pros they have to offer more cons than anything though.
You will have a monthly payment come out two times a month and maintenance dues two times a year..

First and foremost how can you run a business if there is no management like this location? Even when there was a manager the place was far from managed. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, definitely getting athletes foot and possibly even gonorrhea. The person(s) that created the so called “contracts” probably was the creator of pyramid schemes. They will charge your card even after you sign the paperwork to cancel. The “fees” they charge for upkeep goes right into the bosses pocket. In the last 5 years not much if anything was up-dated or replaced. I guarantee the 100lb dumbbell has still yet to be replaced. A lot of the machines have tares and rips. You better watch out for the trainers in there too, if not they’ll jump on your cables when you’re in between sets. In the last 5 years the carpet has never been swept, the trash cans are over flowing, the mirrors are dirty, the paper towels are out and the sanitary solution is gone. Told the manager that ended up getting fired that the ceiling was leaking and he fixed it by putting a bucket on the floor that was there for 3 months.

GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE I CANT GIVE ZERO. What a joke this gym is. I have been a member here for over six years and it has been nothing short of a nightmare trying to cancel. Still charging my credit card after coming in and signing paperwork to cancel a month ago. Do not sign up at this gym their contracts are long and impossible to get out of. Nothing is ever updated even though every member pays a fee every year for new equipment. Could not cancel earlier if I wanted to- due to several months having no manager in the office. Support your other local gyms! These commercial gyms should be shut down by the government for continuing to charge their former members.

I have tried cancelling my membership for quite some time. I tried the first time during covid and finally last week, dropped off a letter and the key fob and they are still taking the membership fees from my checking account. I have left multiple messages, emails, sms, etc and they won't return my calls. Nobody answers the phone and the voicemail box is full. I stopped in and nobody was in during the "staffed hours". I am very angry and would not recommend anyone getting a membership to this place.

I love the openness of the space & being in a newer gym. Cardio machines have a thick layer of dust, bathrooms are always musty. With that said it is always dirty, & in need of a deep clean. They cannot keep staff & with our 2x “club enhancement fee” nothing really improves. Very expensive for the quality of the experience.

I'm no expert on gyms or working out, but for most people I'm pretty sure this place has everything you need. No pool or gym/courts, so if that's what you are looking for try the YMCA. Also no tanning at the Bryan location, so you'll have to find another location with that.

If you want a gym membership don’t go to Anytime Fitness. I began attempting to cancel a membership in October that the contract was up in November and now they expect me to pay December, January, and February. They are not timely with their email communication. They don’t answer phones and it has been an absolute mess dealing with them. They didn’t get me into contact with the district manager until January and then she took 3 weeks to even email me back and her email communications don’t even come in until 10pm! Ridiculous

A little pricy but it's a decent gym. Showers are available, and bathrooms are pretty clean.

My only negative other than pricey is it would be nice if they had automatic sinks in the bathrooms. I have came in twice to someone leaving the sink running for who knows how long. A lot of wasted water for no reason.

Decent small gym but they charge a maintenance fee twice a year and in the 3 years I have been at the gym they have barely updated any equipment. Would like to see a couple different style of bikes and a couple other things for the cardio area! The team members are friendly and I have gotten good results with the training staff!

Great place to workout with plenty of spaces that promote social distance at the same time. Staff has also set up multiple sanitation stations to promote cleanliness. Personal trainers are also available to help encourage you on your exercise journey and the members are great in helping one another out as well.

It’s a nice gym and for the most part I’ve experienced good customer service but in a time of financial hardship they have put me into an AWFUL situation. I’ve asked to have a hold put onto my account twice. I’ve talked to staff, I’ve talked to the manager, I’ve left voice messages and I’m still getting texts and calls from them about updating payment information after being told twice they would put a hold on my account and it would be in affect in one to two hours. They currently have me $200 in the hole because of overdraft fees and $35 check bounces.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Signed up with them and Ryan showed me a form saying their club had tanning. Turns out they dont and you cant cancel a membership. Then I was harassed for a payment for months even though I have a Y membership. I do business in Bryan and will not recommend this place to anyone. If you want a great value in a gym membership go to the YMCA.

Canceling was absolute hell. For the amount of equipment they offer, it’s not worth the price. On top of the BS 30 day notice to cancel, they offer little to no way in contacting you in regards to payments. 200$ later, and no access to their gym, I’m told basically that I’m a liar. Apparently I don’t even know how old I am! Don’t go to Anytime Fitness. They’re nothing but scam artists looking for money. You’ll save more AND get more going to somewhere like the local YMCA.

Before you decide to join this shady overpriced gym you need to know what I just learned so you can be informed. If you decide to cancel you need to call a financial company who then will not let you cancel without sending them a certified letter and giving 30 days notice. First Impression wasn't bad....at first. Place was kept clean and orderly. Wasn't 100% sure who were to go to get information regarding membership since the website was vague and mentioned pricing varied per location. I didn't see a staffed front desk, since this during the staffed hours posted....but there was a manager's office. I hung out as the manager was already engaged in conversation with someone. I walked around a little checking out the information boards and such to kill time, making sure to walk past the office about 3 or 4 times to quietly let him know I was there and a visitor. After the manager ended his conversation and said goodbye he walked past me once as I stood there...with no acknowledgement of me, and shortly a second time again not once acknowledging that I was there.

That spoke volumes to me as I myself am a heavyset very overweight dad wanting to get healthy. Now I could have spoken up and engaged him but I was feeling out the water's so to speak on the personnel. Obviously this person didn't care why a large person such as myself in street clothes was doing just standing a few feet from the office. To them I must have been lost or just killing time. Either way I guess I'll have to look elsewhere for a place to get fit and healthy because I won't pay to come here after this disappointing first impression.

I really wish Planet Fitness would come to the Defiance/Bryan, Ohio area as their customer service when I was a member in Columbus,Ohio was exceptional !!

I seriously hope after seeing this post the management treats everyone walking into their facility much better regardless of fitness level or weight. Let's face it.....not everyone using a gym is already fit.
