I absolutely love the service. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed in such a warm and inviting way. Every single person there is incredibly kind and professional.

We truly love each coach; my daughters feel cared for and wonderfully received, and that means so much to us.

I am deeply grateful to be part of this place. Thank you to everyone for helping my daughters become better at swimming and for turning each practice into moments full of fun.

We have been coming for a little over 2 months and the progress we have seen in our 3 year old has been amazing! The coaches are wonderful with the children, very kind, nurturing, and patient. I also want to give a HUGE shout out to Aurora who works the desk, my wife became very emotional on our first day as this was the first time our daughter was doing any kind of class independently and Aurora was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make all of us feel comfortable. We highly recommend this establishment!

We have been going for about 2 years now, we have had several different instructors and they have all been great! Through the toddler/parent level to swimming on their own, the coaches and staff are always so helpful and kind. My toddler can be emotional and anxious and each of his coaches have done a wonderful job with him. The facility is always clean and warm. And my younger toddler always has toys/activities to keep him entertained while watching big brother swim.

I am so upset with the make up policy! 4 classes were canceled on behalf of Staffing and the holidays but yet it’s our fault and have to make it up to get our moneys worth instead of refunded or a month free. That was 8 classes added to our account not because of an issue on our end (2 kids signed up). In addition to this my son had an ongoing ear infection that lasted 2 months hence was unable to attend classes successfully and with it being a medical reason (which he ended up needing surgery), I still was given “make ups” so we are at total of 21 classes which is absurd!

My kids are making a lot of progress here. We tried community center swim lessons in the past and they make much more progress here because we go 2 times a week and the class size is always 4 kids or less. The teachers are really attentive and consistent. I'm glad we decided to bite the bullet and shell out for the lessons, because it is expensive but my kids really enjoy it.

I understand that it can be hard to find staffing. However we had 6 weeks in a row of different instructors. Initially, I didn't think this was a bad thing. Until one of the instructors said she couldn't give my daughter a star to advance her in her swim journey because she needs to have her three times. So please pay attention to which stars you kids should have or you will sit there and watch your little one do the same thing for 6 weeks with no progression. Besides that we really enjoyed it. Very Clean and everyone was very nice.

I took my son here when he was a baby and loved it but had to pull due to time restrictions. I just reenrolled him again at age 5 and he loves it. He was so nervous and didn’t want to come. After his first class he is so excited to come back. The instructor pushed him just enough that he felt comfortable. Very inviting atmosphere and family friendly! Definitely recommend to anyone with children! Swim class is a must! With Love! The Spicers

App easy to use. Just wish 1st lesson would be an evaluation for proper level placement instead of placing based on answering 3 questions upon registering online. Child was a level above ability for first 2 lessons prior to asking for evaluation by supervisor. Like the 4 to 1 ratio for class size.

We love Aqua Tots! The small class size is so nice, they don't do over 4 kids per class. If other kids are not present, it's almost like a private lesson! The instructors are so sweet and get the kids comfortable in the water. I like that they get them underwater too and teach safety. I have only been coming for a few months and have notice a huge difference in skills (really they couldn't do anything before lessons!). If I could change anything I wish that class time was at least 45 minutes instead of 30.

The facility is generally clean and everyone is nice which is of course important and appreciated. However, there are a lot of cons that seem to be getting worse since I committed this summer to a year of swim lessons for my infant son:

-Instructor turnover is beyond terrible. I’ve seen a new face almost every week. A lot of the experienced instructors from the summer went back to school apparently and left them with a huge staff shortage that they have not been able to overcome since.
-Classes have been canceled on us too many times, sometimes within 24 hours of the class.
-There are very few makeup class options (this past week there was only one class that had availability in the entire 10 day span surrounding our canceled class). The only classes we have missed were when my son was sick, we were out of town, or the school canceled the class. We have 10 makeup passes we are struggling to use.
-New instructors are not adequately trained so they are either getting help from other instructors in the water who are trying to focus on their own students or they are getting help from seasoned parents who are in the water with their babies in Level 1. This results in a lot of inconsistency in instruction and feedback. Most importantly, the biggest challenge with the new instructors is that they do not themselves know the proper cues for submerging infants which is a serious safety risk and makes me uncomfortable letting them submerge my son, which is the whole purpose of signing him up for swim lessons (to get comfortable with being under water). I shouldn’t be the most knowledgeable person in the class—the instructor should be able to put me at ease that they are well trained enough to know more than I do about safe submersion.

If things don’t improve I will either be looking elsewhere or canceling when the time comes in July if we can make it until then. If my son keeps being subjected to inconsistent instruction we might just cut our losses before then.

We love aqua tots! My Son really looks forward to his classes every week with Lilly! She makes learning to swim fun and safe. We have tried other places but nothing can beat the small classes with one on one coaching...well worth the money. I love how they tell me about my sons progress after every class and I can view it online on the app at anytime also. Scheduling and canceling is easy and they give you makeup sessions if you can't make a class. I always recommend aqua tots whenever I can.

This is the worst place you can take your special need kid to. My autistic son started swimming classes and it was an awful experience for him. They couldn't understand his needs and they treated him as neuro typical kid. They submerged him in water from the first class and did it again for many times which scare my son. My son hated water now and he can't go neither swimming nor to splash pad. We didn't expect unprofessional services like this. I wouldn't recommend this place at all especially if you have special need kids.

I think the school is great. A good balance of fun and instruction. The classes are fun enough to keep the kids engaged but still learn. The instructors are flexible enough if a kid is having a bad day, and they recognize it and let them take it easy. But if they are doing well, they try to push them to be better. You move through different challenges fast enough to match the attention span of an 18 month old. My daughter is always very happy to go to swim class on Friday mornings and I will also be signing up my second daughter when she gets a little older (only 2 weeks old now!).

Pros
- Clean
- Nice staff

Cons
- trainers change and that is not good
- expensive for actual training time. I did the math, if you child is in a group of 4, you will be paying close to 3-3.5 dollars per min for training. The class is 30 mins, subtract 2 mins at the beginning until they start any training and 2 mins at end because they always end earlier than 30 mins and divide 26 mins by 4, so essentially it is 8.5 mins of actual training. I was shocked when the trainer said my daughter would probably need 20 classes to pass level 3, after receiving 5 sessions already. That means for my daughter to finish level 3, it would cost 600 dollars ! Imagine if you want your kid to finish the whole thing, it would cost more than a fancy car…
- Private classes for one child is more cost effective, it would cost you 2.5-2.7 dollars per min. Moreover, your child is more likely to learn faster. This would save you all the visits, time and cost you have to make/ spend repeatedly

In summary, if you have many children who need to learn to swim, this is a very costly choice. If you have one child, it is smarter and more cost effective to book private class for your child…if you feel it is too much of a budget to get private class, then group class is not bad if you have one child…

For me, I won’t be coming back…

————- update———-

After month and half of having 2 training sessions per week, I barely noticed any improvement. My children came in knowing how to swim, independently but inefficiently, in deep water. They even did not complete one level, level three, which is like to teach how enter swimming pool, very primitive skills. They spent the time jumping in water and chit chatting !!!?!!! Based on their progress, I felt I would have to come for 2 years to see true improvement…

Group classes are a joke. If you are serious about teaching your child to swim, avoid the group lessons…

The hourly payment is extremely high, higher than most of professions that come to my mind…

I felt it was a complete waste of money and time, very disappointed…

We have been going for almost a year. Our family initially loved it in the beginning and our daughter made some great progress but after the summer occurred this place has gone down hill. They cannot keep instructors and the turn over rate is abysmal. Your child starts trusting an instructor and then 3 weeks later they are gone and all you get is an email saying you have a new instructor. When you call to switch classes there is none available that work with your schedule or they have a time slot for one of your kids but not the other so you are stuck with a brand new instructor who has zero confidence working with young kids. For the amount of money you pay the accessibility and service is subpar. All you are met with is I am sorry, you can stick with that instructor and hope another slot opens up. Their friendly and great with kids instructors are leaving at an alarming rate. The worst part is if you have make-up lessons on your account and you put your account on hold you can't use your make-up lessons. So I paid for lessons but can't use them unless I am continuously paying you? Great so no available lessons with my schedule, if I pause my account I can't use my make-up lessons.
