As You Are Cycle + Lagree offers two unique boutique fitness studios, each providing FUN, high-intensity, low-impact movement experiences. Rhythm Cycling and Lagree are the "yin to the yang" giving you all you need under one roof. Whether you want a fully immersive heart-pumpin' cardio experience through beat-based training in our rhythm cycling studio, or want to slow things down with intentional movement and strength training embedded within our Lagree classes, one thing is for sure... you'll leave feeling stronger than when you walked in.

I took a class with Aubree. I am early in my pregnancy and let the team know in case I needed any modifications. Our lagree class had multiple different variations of the moves we typically see which was interesting. After class Aubree let me know she built that whole section of class centered around demonstrating and allowing me to be comfortable with the variations I will need later in my pregnancy. I thought that was so awesome that she wanted to get me comfortable with so many changes BEFORE I would need them!

I arrived on time, excited to try out the classes. It was a 35 minute drive to get here. She said that I could not attend class because I was not 15 minutes early. Said that I was sent an email and I was not sent one. I even gave her my phone so that she could see that I did not have an email sent to me with that information. I was on time, the class had not started yet and she still did not allow me to ride in class. I would only come back again had a gotten to ride and
Experience the class & loved it. Paid $10 and skipped my usual workout to be here. Huge bummer. I’ve been riding for years and teach cycle myself so I get it but when you fail to communicate the correct procedures and someone has their waiver signed and is on time you’d think you’d make accommodations. There’s already not a lot of cycle studios in this area of Ohio at all.
Major fail. They also have a no entry after 5 min of class starting sign on their door which she could have honored as well being that I was on time prior to it starting. So if you’re reading this and they haven’t corrected their email system. BE 15 MIN EARLY or they won’t let you in no matter if it’s on them or not.
Update/Response: I was refunded the $10 fee. Attached are the emails I did receive.
I indeed was not late the instructor came to the desk to ask if I was riding. The sign up process gave me a choice to opt out of email so I did. I also selected to receive text messages instead as I thought it would be better than emails to get it right to my phone. It did not state even on the sign up page to be there 15 minutes early. I did not go thru the website as I just thought to finally give it a try this morning & did not want to sign up too late so I went straight to the class schedule. I suggest that if ppl have that option to opt out of emails to send an auto text or for front desk to send a text stating the same thing this way first timers know for sure when to arrive. I’m sure it’s a great space. Looked cool from the front desk.

AYA is like no other studio I have ever been to. If you would’ve told me I would be working out everyday I would’ve laughed in your face, but AYA gave me a safe, encouraging place to start. Not only is the studio absolutely a vibe, but the people are incredibly supportive, welcoming, and genuine. I came for a workout and left with a family! AYA has truly changed my life and I would recommend it over and over again!

My top place to go using Class Pass for both cycle and Lagree!
I’ve been to all the cycle classes, and this place really does set a high bar! It’s so nice to not be “chasing a screen” worrying about what bike your neighbor is and finding it on the screen and just constantly comparing yourself to your neighbor.
Instead your truly immersed in a club like atmosphere, amazing music and super fun lights.
You immediately feel welcome, valued and encouraged, no matter if it’s your 1st class or 100th, they celebrate every single milestone. You really are family here❤️

Absolutely my favorite place! I stumbled upon AYA on a whim after trying Lagree at another studio, and I’m so glad I did. Finding AYA has been a game changer.

I worked with AYA to plan a private cycle ride for my best friend’s bachelorette weekend in Columbus last summer and we had the most lovely experience. Amber graciously agreed to allow us access to her space and equipment, as we had a guest instructor in our group. The studio is beautiful and intentionally designed, and they even extended a vendor that they were working with to cater to our group as well. If you’re looking for a fitness space routes in community and joyful movement you should definitely check them out!

I came to as you are a few months post-partum and post-chemotherapy. Before pregnancy I was an avid yoga practitioner, and due to some medication side effects from cancer treatment, my wrists aren’t strong enough for that type of movement. Lagree has been an AMAZING alternative for me. The slow movements and upbeat music help get my brain in the same mindset that yoga did and I’m loving it! I’ve never been a fan of cycling until trying it at this studio. It literally feels like you’re in a club and it’s a blast. I appreciate not having a scoreboard! All the coaches here are wonderful and so encouraging. I make a 25minute commute to the space because it’s truly that good. Highly recommend!

I am so excited to make this a part of my weekly routine. I have been looking for the perfect spin studio since moving to Columbus in 2020, and I can say that i have FINALLY found it!
From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The girl working the front desk was extremely helpful and walked me through everything. Amber, the owner and instructor for that class, immediately came and introduced herself. The other people in the class were so wonderful as well. Everyone was very encouraging and it just felt like we were all there with zero judgements, just ready to cheer everyone on.
I have never tried Lagree, but can say that I am absolutely going to try that out as well.
Overall, Amber has truly created a place that is welcoming, encouraging, and is building a community that truly is unlike anything else in Columbus when it comes to a spin studio.
The smallest of details like a card welcoming me for my first class truly went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced at a fitness studio. You can just feel the love that went into creating this safe space for so many people looking to further their fitness and overall life.

Hands down the best group fitness experience I have ever had! I took my first lagree class with Amber last week and I enjoyed it so much! She explained the machine so thoroughly to me before the class began, so even though it was my first time taking a lagree class, I wasn’t totally lost. (Definitely get there 15 minutes early if it’s your first class, like they recommend.) I work out regularly, but I’ve never experienced a workout that could make me shake so much, for so long. I personally need a gym that provides childcare in the mornings, so I won’t be able to come too often… but even just adding in a few classes to my regular gym routine has improved my core and mind-body connection quickly. This morning I was in a weightlifting/conditioning class at another gym, and I was able to hold a plank for much longer than I normally would… a minute seems like nothing after taking a lagree class.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! I was searching for years to find a studio/gym that would get me back to a workout routine after having two kids. As someone who was a gym rat and kick boxing instructor pre-kids, I found it difficult to find my new “home.” I was unmotivated, inconsistent and frankly bored with all workouts. I let myself go. Now, 7 years after my first son was born, my gf introduced to me to Lagree. To say I was nervous to try it is an understatement. But, as soon as I walked into AYA, there was an immediate sense of calmness, acceptance, encouragement and community! Every instructor has his/her own vibe, but each one is equally incredible! …and the music is 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼I love how every class is not like the last, keeping it entertaining! Bonus: studio is spotless! The low and neon lighting takes me back to my clubbing days. I am finally consistent with my workouts, found my new love of Lagree (and cycle), and found my home!

As a former collegiate athlete, workouts have always been a requirement or part of a mundane routine. Because of this, I have always struggled to find a workout that was effective, motivating, and fun. I can honestly say, with AYA, this is the first time I’ve been truly excited to connect with coaches, workout to amazing music, and push myself out of my comfort zone every class. There’s something for everyone here - whether you’re a beginner, or don’t think you’re flexible, strong or athletic enough, or you can only workout at 6am or 6pm because of family/work obligations… I’ve never found a studio more accessible to everyone. I’ve been to several Lagree classes at AYA now and have nothing but great things to say! At my first class, I was welcomed with a sweet personalized note. This is the best group fitness studio! I initially came for cycling. The idea of trying Lagree (something new to me) was largely intimidating. I’m not the most physically fit individual and have always struggled with body image issues. What I found on day one of attending is an environment that is supportive and safe - a place where there are individuals of all fitness levels, a place where you are encouraged to try new things (even if you may not get it right the first time), a place that is encouraging and motivating, and a space that made me feel comfortable to work and strive to be the best version of myself. I said I came for cycling but I now attend Lagree too! I have set some personal goals and each time I attend - I’m feeling stronger. I encourage everyone I know to give this studio a try!

I’m never sure how to go about explaining to everybody just how amazing this studio is. Amber has outdone herself by opening up such a welcoming, kind, well rounded and may I say- VERY aesthetic, gym. Getting the best of both worlds with being told to go slower in lagree and push myself in cycle is the exact balance I need. It’s hard to give myself a rest day or two during the week because it’s just FUN. I’ve never left this place unhappy or even thinking about the troubles from the day before or my to do list for the day. Seriously, every coach and staff member will make you smile and make you feel so loved and welcomed. If you’re reading this and you haven’t gone to AYA yet, at least go try it out with me hehehe

I’ve been taking lagree classes here with Amber and she is literally the sweetest person ever. She takes the time to remember everyone’s names and it so motivating throughout every single class. I started coming to AYA when they first opened and immediately fell in love. I only weight lifted and had never done lagree and only did a few cycling classes (which I didn’t like), but when I started coming to AYA every instructor was super motivating, and all the workout classes are high-energy and super fun. If there’s any studio I would suggest to anyone looking for an intense yet enjoyable workout, it would be As You Are!

I had never tried lagree before but i am sure glad i got out of my comfort zone and chose AYA. They celebrate all milestones- from your first class with yoir name on a welcome sign and a hand written note to praising us when we get to 10, 20, 30+ classes. Their vibe, the instructors, the layout - everything is so nice and comforting. The 30 minute drive is 100% worth it and I always look forward to the classes.

I wish I could give AYA more than 5 stars! This studio has completely changed my relationship with exercise in all the best ways. The studio itself is immaculate (with the cutest decor and motivation quotes everywhere you turn!), the instructors are so motivating and supportive, and the community is incredible. I started at AYA taking only Lagree classes because I swore off cycling after a bad experience years ago. This is my favorite Lagree place in Columbus! I was using Class Pass so I’ve been able to try a lot of different studios, but AYA is definitely above and beyond the others. Everyone that works here is so kind and helpful. The classes are amazing and it’s something different every time. I get cardio and strength training in at the same time. Since I’ve become pregnant, they have it noted in my profile and each instructor will go over modifications for me before the class starts and also during the class so that I don’t do anything that may be harmful during pregnancy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get into Lagree or if you’ve been doing Lagree for a while!

I love this group. I take several classes during the week including Lagree and one cycle class per week. It is the first time in my life where I have stuck with a workout regimen and I know it is because of the staff. They are so welcoming, motivating, and only encourage and not pressure one to do more! I can’t tell you how much I love this place! Everyone is super personable and celebrates all the big and little wins which is so fun. I love the microformer as opposed to the big reformer at most lagree places. Class is challenging in a good way, but they always tell you modifications you can do if you need it. As for cycling - I’m usually not a huge fan but I love that there is NO LEADER BOARD! I always feel bad about myself cycling at places and being in “last place” but here the lights are off majority of the time and they have neon lights which just makes you feel more confident trying new things and not worried about people watching you. Give them a try!! 🤩

My mom and I took our first class here! And we have been to quite a few lagree studios but we loved this one the MOST! We immediately felt so welcome by the staff with the sign upon entering, and on top of the cute cards at the machines we were assigned to🥹. Also, absolutely love the space and it is so cute inside! Great workout and amazing experience! I booked my first class (Shake and Spin Combo) as my birthday self care. Coach Amber made the first class experience really smooth and helped set me up for success on both the bike and in the Lagree studio. She offered modifications for all exercises, was encouraging, and gave corrections when needed. In the cycle class, she was energetic and the atmosphere was truly like a party. I love that there were not metrics to follow and I went with what felt good and challenging for my body. I'll definitely be back!

Get here now!! I travel all over the country for work and I try to find lagree everywhere. This studio is hands down the best studio I have ever been to. The team there is so encouraging and kind. The owner is the sweetest, most upbeat and involved business owner I have ever met. Everyone there truly wants to see you succeed. AYA Lagree AND Cycle classes have been such a fun way to switch up my routine. I would consider myself a beginner to lagree and in each class I get such great feedback and support to help me feel successful. Jess and Amber make classes fly by (I’m sure many more instructors do too but I’m newish) to make for such an enjoyable experience. If you are at any fitness level, give it a shot. My favorite class is the power hour that has 30 minutes of lagree and 30 minutes of cycle. It gives a taste of what both sides of the gym are like. Loving this studio! I was completely new to Lagree until I tried As You Are, and I have found it to be such a great workout that my body and mind truly enjoys. Amber and all of the coaches go out of their way to get to know you and make you feel welcome, which really goes a long way, because it can be super intimidating walking into a new gym/studio for the first time! Amber and all of the studio policies I find to be SUPER fair. I love being an Unlimited Member and getting first access to book classes. The cancellation policy is very fair to ensure people aren't taking up spots if they aren't there, but it also gives you enough flexibility if life happens and your schedule changes. I also appreciate how hard Amber is working to change up the schedule to find times that work best for everyone. I can't wait to continue my fitness journey at this studio!

I don’t enjoy exercise but I realized that I needed to do something to become stronger. I had never done a cycling class, have limited coordination skills, and truly thought I might be that person who fell off the bike. I knew that I like upbeat music and a class in low lights versus the usual bright “look at me” lights sounded as good as it would get. I tried it… at times I sat on that bike seat like I was out for a neighborhood ride while others seemed to easily ride standing. It was okay, I was there for me and no one was judging. The arm strengthening portion worked my upper body while my legs took a needed rest. I survived and the biggest shocker of all is that I have returned again and again. Amber brings a message to each class. She makes you think. She makes you believe in your try. She makes you want to continue without complaining. Most importantly, she makes you feel welcome and puts you at ease to give what you can, to make mistakes, and to grow. Try it once. I think you’ll like it, but if you don’t, it’s okay. Amber will be the first person to tell you to “do what serves you.”

I love AYA! Amber, the owner, is so welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. I had been doing Peloton rides for a while and didn’t think rhythm cycling would be for me. The idea of doing choreography and following a beat with no metrics didn’t appeal to me. And then I took my first class! I think I would come to class every day if I could. The 45 minutes fly by and the choreography is attainable and fun.
I have also taken a few Lagree classes and the instructors are awesome! They correct your form, to make sure you are safe, and give great cues to make you feel comfortable if you aren’t familiar with the machine.

I was VERY nervous coming to my first ride. I didn't know what to expect and I hadn't done anything like this before. My class was actually full of first timers who felt the same way. You see, I have a condition that makes my legs very weak, so a 45 minute workout on a bike was very intimidating. I didn't know what would be expected of me. To say that Amber made me feel welcome and comfortable is an understatement. She helped me set up my bike right away and I hopped on. We got started on the ride. About 10 minutes in, I was wondering what I had got myself into, but Amber kept coaching us along, inspiring us, and telling us it was ok if all we did was ride or we didn't know the choreography. I tried to "get out of the saddle" but realized my legs wouldn't hold me up, so I stayed saddled and peddling, but doing the choreography as well. I never got called out or felt judged (and I was in the front row!) Well, actually I did get called out, but it was because Amber noticed me trying and giving it my all. She does that throughout the class with many riders :-) By the end of the class I was whooped, but I was on an exercise high that I had not been on in a while. I left and immediately signed up for 3 more classes. I even bought cycling shoes! This was going to be a thing for me. A shakeup to my normal exercise routine. My second class was "easier" (not easy in the least, don't get me wrong.) I felt more comfortable, could set up the bike on my own, I was able to get out of the saddle for a little bit, and I knew what to expect. My goal each time is to get out of the saddle more and more. If you're thinking that you'd never be able to take a cycling class, I would strongly encourage it! It is unique to anything I have ever done before. The group is also so supportive that if you mess up or there is something you have to modify, there is no judgement, just encouragement.

It’s not only a physical workout but each ride has a message of the day which is great for my mental well being too. If you are nervous like I was don’t be scared to try new things. I’m so glad I tried rhythm cycling!! I absolutely love it!!!

Tried my first class last week and I am so excited for the official opening! Not only do you get a great workout, you are surrounded by amazing people who make you feel great and motivate you...you'll be smiling throughout the ride and having fun, 45 minutes went by so fast!

I was absolutely terrified to try something I have never done before, but Amber made me feel so comfortable with no pressure to be perfect, but to just try. I now look forward to pushing myself every week and can feel myself getting stronger with every workout!
