About the Club

Axon is built on the foundations of exercise science and consistency. We bring our members meticulously programmed and endlessly trackable fitness, to create a classroom environment that mimics the benefits of working with a personal trainer. Boutique fitness, where it’s not just about breaking a sweat, but progressing your body weekly to see the results you want. Our programming is precise and our community is strong.

The other half of our facility is a fully outfitted personal training studio with rentable hours. With options for career trainers and side-hustlers, Axon wants to set trainers up to build their own programs, brands, and communities.

I’ve been a member at Axon for more than 2 years now and I can’t imagine a week without going there now. It’s one of the best decisions I have taken for my health. Over two years I have grown so strong; never having lifted a 5lb dumbbell ever to now deadlifting more than my own weight!!
The instructors here are the friendliest people I’ve met and they are experts at fitness, great guides and motivators.

This is hands down the best gym in Columbus area and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to take a step towards getting fitter and stronger!

The community Jeff, Clint, and the team have nurtured is absolutely stellar. It’s inclusive, empowering, and welcoming people of all ages, genders, races, and fitness levels. Beyond group classes, Jeff has masterfully introduced unique collaborations that make this place so much more than a gym. From field days and Spartan training to run clubs and Nordic sauna experiences, always keeping things fresh and exciting. It's clear that they care about their members’ holistic health journeys, offering opportunities to grow, connect, and push limits in ways I never imagined.

MY ONLY REGRET -- I wish I started Axon earlier! If you’re looking for a space where you’ll not only transform physically but also find inspiration, community, and joy—look no further. Axon and its amazing team have created something truly special, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

I've been going here for over 6 months now and the experience has been absolutely great. The instructors and the community is totally awesome. After just a few classes into program, I found myself continuously pushing myself to my maximum each time. The facilities is also maintained extremely well. The scheduling experience was also pretty much seamless and was over an convenient app.

I've been training at Axon a little over a year and can't say enough wonderful things about this place and these people!

If you're looking for a gym that uses actual strength and conditioning principles and intentional workouts - Axon is the place. If you're looking for a gym with trainers that will push and motivate you when you need it but also let you do you when you're having a day - Axon is the place. If you're looking for a great group of trainers and classmates to energize you in the morning (or evening), then you already know Axon is your place!

I've made more strength progress in a few months at Axon than I ever did working out on my own. It's a special place with special people and you will never regret checking it out!

I joined Axon a year ago as a New Year’s resolution to exercise again. I liked the idea of group fitness, but it’s proven to be so much more than that! The classes and programming are intentional and carefully planned. I love that they offer INBOdY scans to measure progress along the way. I’ve been a member for about a year now and I can honestly say Axon is the best thing I have done for myself. It’s the perfect balance of challenging but sustainable workouts. I can go six days a week and not get burned out or bored (although they encourage you to take rest days). They are constantly changing things up to keep things interesting, but give you enough exposure to moves to allow you to master them. It’s great to get to class and put in an hour of work and know that someone else has ensured I’m working the right muscle groups throughout the week and that each week is laid out to progressively improve upon the last to truly make me stronger. I just have to show up and see/notice the progress. In addition, the instructors and owners are fantastic, genuine people that seem to truly care about your health and encourage feedback. They’re always investing in the gym and looking for ways to improve members’ experiences. In fact, everyone here is great. There are members from all age groups and backgrounds but everyone gets along like a family and laughs and has fun during class. No one is slamming anything or giving judgmental looks if you do something wrong. It’s truly a great environment. Come and join the Axon family! We’d love to have you!

I started going to Axon last fall on Saturdays as a drop-in. Then, in May of this year, I got my membership and haven’t been more satisfied with the variety and intensity of the group training, as well as the dedication, fervor, experience, and overall fun and energy that all the instructors bring day in and day out. And, as added, unexpected bonus, Axon has introduced me to a small but very friendly and genuine community of individuals from all ages and all walks of life who come together to support one another’s fitness goals and motivate each other to achieve beyond what they thought their boundaries were. In all sincerity, I would recommend this group training facility to anyone looking to reinvigorate their fitness. I say this not only because it’s clean and state-of-the-art, but because you will see results and will truly enjoy the journey that Axon will take you on.

They develop their own custom programming that helps you lift heavy and train hard while ensuring you’re doing it safely and with proper form. Whether you’re just getting started or are an experienced lifter, Axon’s coaches can help you consistently work toward your goals. As a woman, I love measuring progress by how strong I’m getting vs. the numbers on a scale.

Also, the people here are amazing. Whether it be the owners, the coaches, or the members, it truly feels like a community. I have been coming here consistently for past 4 months. The space is top notch, modern, clean and air conditioned in summer. There is a variety of trainers with very very very different styles. I like that they take a moment to show the exercises with lowered music volume,so that I can actually hear what they say. I like that for the most part they do the work out WITH.

This gym and the coaches are SPECTACULAR. As someone who has struggled with the health/fitness industry and unhealthy programs in the past, it is so refreshing to work out in a positive and supportive environment. Everything is at your own pace (with encouragement from the coaches of course) and you are really given the space to succeed.

I cannot recommend this gym enough and have had amazing results after only going for 4 months! You should really check it out, even if it's just for one class.

Axon is a super high-quality facility. The coaches are top notch, the equipment is fantastic, and most importantly, IT IS SO CLEAN. They offer a lot of time slots to accommodate busy schedules, I especially love the lunchtime class. The classes are thoughtfully planned and the coaches have options for every person of every skill level.

As far as price, don’t let it turn you off. You’re getting a truly top notch experience AND you’re supporting a local business. The owners are wonderful. If you join unlimited and really utilize it, your “per class” price can very well be in the single digits. I’m really enjoying being a member and I’m feeling good in my body thanks to the workouts 😇

All trainers really care and go above and beyond to help achieve our goals and give hands on feedback during the workouts for adjustments. Worth every dollar and time I spend here, I'm seeing already good progress since I joined 3 months ago. They are very professional and friendly. I love that they also offer custom nutrition coaching. Seriously love training here! Like they advertise, I feel like I get to do actual strength training in a small class format instead of going the 1 on 1 personal training route. I've bounced back and forth between big group classes, diy workouts, & personal trainers for years. By the third week of AXON classes, I'm hooked and getting great workouts. The pricing is fair, the trainers are fun/diverse, and the small class size gives just the right amount of personal attention without the cost of 1 on 1 training. It's also affordable to keep a Fitness Loft membership to fill in the gaps.
