I absolutely loved my experience at Bickford Fitness! I took the Booty Bootcamp class and the vibe was incredible from the moment I walked in. The energy, the music, and the community made it feel welcoming and fun, but still super challenging in the best way.
I felt pushed, supported, and encouraged the entire time which is exactly the kind of workout environment I love. The trainers keep the classes upbeat and intentional, and I walk out feeling stronger and accomplished.
If you want a place where you can get an amazing workout and feel part of an empowering community, Bickford Fitness is it. Highly recommend!

I wanted to get back into fitness after significant time off of weight training. I didn’t know how to start or where to begin. I found Bickford fitness through social media, and I joined a 6-week challenge at Bickford Fitness. At the start of my program I was able to do a video call with Ryan, and he listened to my goals and he was understanding I had not worked out in a long time. He explains everything in detail and provides a notebook for tracking workouts & fitness goals, as well as also providing support with nutrition and guidance on the days I’m not at the gym. What I have found most helpful is the check-ins and I feel like Ryan and the other trainers really care about their clients. I am still early in my fitness journey, but am thankful for having the support system to keep me going. Plus there are morning and afternoon sessions available. In meeting different clients at the gym sessions it’s refreshing to see so many people that are at different places with their own goals. It is not intimidating like I was worried about. I recommend Bickford Fitness and feel fortunate to have found this great opportunity in the Polaris area.

I started training at Bickford for post-season conditioning for track. It was a lot of fun and the small group made it feel like one on one personal training. I have since joined with my mom and workout with her in the group sessions. Everyone is so nice, supportive and just fun to be around. I still feel like I’m working with a personal trainer!

I couldn't be happier with my decision to join Bickford Fitness. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable along with the rest of his staff. The program is very well organized and motivating. Even though you're working out in a small group it feels very personalized. They're also excellent at making sure you're using proper form which is something I desperately needed help with. I am not a “gym person” but decided to sign up for the 6 Week Shred Challenge because I knew it would help motivate me to work out with a personal trainer in a group setting. The workouts have been challenging but I have really liked them! I do feel like I am gaining strength and working towards my goal of losing body fat and becoming more toned. The trainers are great at showing me the proper way to use the equipment and don’t make me feel intimidated at all. I recommend!

I was looking for accountability, consistency, and a welcoming community and found all 3 at Bickford Fitness. I appreciate the small group atmosphere and the instructors always making sure that I’m completing the exercises with correct form. I worked with Ryan as part of his 6 Week Ultimate Shred Challenge and can't say enough good things about it. From the nutrition advice to the workout design to the continued coaching, support and follow up, it's the most complete program I have ever been a part of. I especially appreciated the way Ryan tailored his coaching style to meet me where I was and push me to get a little better each workout. I made the choice to join a gym back in June, as I had put on a fair bit of weight and was struggling with side effects (poor energy, always winded). I am so glad I made the decision to join Bickford Fitness and start working with Ryan and the team. Over the course of the two months I have been coming in, I already feel myself getting stronger, fitter, and leaner.
What really sets Bickford apart is the community there to support you. Ryan himself has been incredibly helpful with everything from diet/nutrition, to modifying exercises I couldn't do, to helping keep me accountable. The other gym goers are all great as well, personable and supportive. No judgement, just a great group of people working on bettering themselves.

After years of not exercising and eating like I was still a teenager. It all caught up with me at my last physical exam. The results were not good. I needed to make changes and I saw a 6 week challenge to change your body that coach Ryan had posted on Instagram. Two weeks into it and I have lost a few pounds, gaining muscle and feeling great! I have never been a gym type of person, I had lost a significant amount of weight and wanted to start working out to tone my body. Ryan offered a six week challenge that Really focused on the basics which I needed, and the accountability of showing up and the check-ins made me feel as if I had somebody in my corner rather than doing it all on my own. In six weeks, I was able to drop 15 pounds and 14 pounds of that was body fat. I would recommend

I only joined Bickford Fitness about 2 months ago, to gain strength and confidence for my upcoming college cheerleading tryouts. My mom first joined in the fall of 2025, and has seen great results, so I didn't look any further when deciding where to further my fitness. I have always been told that as you workout it gets easier, and while some of that is true at Bickford Fitness, it also gets harder, because Ryan and the rest of the team push you when things get easier. They know your potential better than you may sometimes, and that is what I love. Now that I am a D1 athlete Ryan is determined to get me strong enough to do a pull up. I have been a gymnast/cheerleader my whole life and have never been able to a pull up, but with the help of Ryan I am inching closer and closer every workout to be able to do a pull up. Without his help I would probably still be saying I can never do a pull up. When I workout I appreciate being told what to do, because it is easy to get lost in a workout and do the same things you always do. I have learned new exercises I didn't even know existed, that I am excited to take with me when I go to college and have to workout on my own. Being the youngest member at the gym, I was a little nervous, but everyone is so welcoming and fun to be around. There is a place for everyone at Bickford Fitness. Plus if you like dogs, get ready to see Ellie and Teddy! They make workouts the BEST!

As a nutrition coach, i travel and visit with many gyms. Just finished my 6 week training and can’t say enough great things about it. Before starting I really had no idea what I was doing in the gym and these classes have really helped my confidence with working out. It is small group classes which is great as everyone is really encouraging. Ryan and his team are great coaches and make sure to take time with everyone in the class. The workouts are challenging and Ryan will push you but it’s only to make you better. The class is only 1 hour and there are multiple sessions throughout the day so you can get in. I would highly recommend to anyone looking!

Began coming to Bickford Fitness a little over 2 months ago and I couldn’t recommend it enough! Ryan and the staff of trainers are excellent. I’ve been in and out of different gyms for years and have never felt more at home somewhere, it is a community of like minded individuals in all different phases of their fitness journeys. Real training with a purpose and not just random workouts and countless hours on the treadmill. Whether you’ve been training for years or have never stepped foot in a gym I promise this would be the place for you.

I am super happy with everything about Bickford Fitness! I love the setup of everything. The small group fitness model is great for a sense of community and motivation. The workouts are challenging and focus on a little bit of everything from mobility and heavier lifting to cardio. It was the exact switch up that I needed to my workout routine. I’m a night shift nurse so I needed something super flexible and there are tons of days and times available to be able to get all of my workouts in for the week. Ryan himself is great! He’s very knowledgeable, organized and communicates well. He has been super accommodating and supportive of my schedule. He makes sure to push you but is also very understanding when life happens. I'm near the end of the six-week shred challenge and I'm very glad I took it on. I've made a lot of progress in a short time - Ryan and his staff are great at teaching me how to approach the workouts, and at pushing me to keep putting in maximum effort.
I try to keep a consistent schedule, but when things come up, it's easy to be flexible: There are multiple sessions available during each two-day "set" (Mon/Tue, Wed/Thu, Fri/Sat). All of the other students/trainees are really friendly and supportive, too - it's a great atmosphere.
I'm looking forward to continuing through 2025!

Started trying to improve my diet and exercise and hit a plateau after a few months doing things on my own with a few minor injuries too. Ryan helped with his exercise program, attention to proper form, diet of healthy whole foods, and motivation! In the last seven weeks since starting the program I am down an additional 8 pounds and have gained about 2 lbs of muscle in the process thanks to the inbody scans offered here.

I have been working out my entire adult life. I've tried various bootcamps and worked with many trainers. My experience at Bickford Fitness has been uniquely positive and rewarding. Ryan brought a new new way of thinking and a fresh approach to my workouts. As a woman in my mid-50s, my experience has been that many male trainers do not understand our unique challenges, but Ryan was quite different. He was attentive, understanding and empathetic during both our goal-setting session and throughout the entire process. I dropped about 8 pounds and have really started to “lean up.” I learned so much from Ryan in such a short time — he was very diligent about showing me the proper form and technique for all my exercises, and his meal plan has been a real revelation. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how quickly I’ve been able to tweak small things in my routine AND completely overhaul massive self-sabotaging habits. I struggled with my training intensity and how to handle my workouts. Worst of all, I have tried with varying success to keep off the same 30-40 lbs that have accumulated over the last decade. Dietary habits of mine that have been hindering my progress for years. I’ve been successful in losing the weight multiple times. For the first time the changes I’ve made in my planning and nutrition are not only sustainable, but the results I want feel inevitable.

Before signing up with Ryan, we talked about my goals and I told him the bottom line was it had to be sustainable not a quick fix. Ryan Bickford ‘s training program has allowed me to progress the farthest in a short period of time. I love his lifting format. Ryan tracks the amount of weight you are lifting and programs the next workout to help you to keep progressing. No way I could have progressed like this on my own. He makes sure your form is correct. His nutritional guidance is not a fad diet. It is a way of life. He does not shame you for choices made in eating due to life or label food good or bad. Food is fuel. He holds you accountable but also cheers you on. He gives you the tools to be successful. You have to put the work in. Ryan Bickford has been great to work with. Prior to signing up with Ryan I had worked out with weights only a couple times in the last 20 years. I had tried a couple trainers previously, but they had a one size fits all approach and I burned out within a couple of weeks. Ryan has kept me engaged and showing up at the gym for over 8 months now, and I have no intention on quitting. My strength and physical condition have improved significantly over the last 8 months. I won't be a power lifter anytime soon, but I have gone from embarrassingly weak, to feeling much more confident with weights. Bench Press is up by about 75lbs. Ryan is also great about providing information and a plan for diet and other workouts outside of the gym. I have gotten in my own way and not followed his plan, but another great thing about Ryan is that he has not shamed me for that. I know he is ready to assist when I am ready to follow the plan. After 4 babies in 4 years, and an exercise history consisting of primarily Pilates, HIT-style workouts and cardio - weight-training was not something I thought I’d find myself doing. But here I am.
