Exactly what I needed. Reminds me of the size of one of the area gyms (not mainside gym) when I was a Marine in Camp Pendleton. Great mix of genders and ages. Overall a perfect gym for me.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, clean environment, and a lot of options for both equipment and classes. I highly recommend Bodi N Balance and appreciate that it is locally owned.

This is the cleanest gym Iβve ever been too. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. It is open 24 hours a day. Non commitment contracts and pay up front memberships. The equipment is in very good shape. You will find powerlifting and other equipment many gyms donβt have. There is a supplement store inside and they make fresh protein shakes. Iβve been going to this gym for about three years now and I will continue my membership for the foreseeable years to come.

Starting to show its age but overall a good gym. You'll find two bench presses as well as two squat racks, incline bench and a few movable bench presses for free weights. Additional Smith machine along with various other rowing and back machine to go along with the cable machine. With its limited space, you might have to wait for s treadmill or choose another cardio machine. Solid lil workout gym for me when I'm here at the lake on vacation but over the years I've seen it age. Overall still a nice place to get a quick workout in without compromising like I would at a hotel gym.

Pros:
I find this gym to be one of the best options in the area due to contract options (3,6,12 month packages,) hours of operation and location. They have many different options for strength training and the other patrons always seem friendly but not intrusive to your workout. Being a 24 hour gym, I consistently feel safe working out here, even during the more quiet hours.
Cons:
For the high amount of traffic this gym gets, there is very few cardio options. Specifically, there are only 5 treadmills - only 2 of which are considered "good." Because all members tend to work out on these same two treadmills, they are constantly in use and cause me a lot of pre-gym anxiety about trying to beat the rush in order to get one of the two "good machines." There are also only 3 ellipticals. While these are not the versions of ellipticals I have preferred at other gyms, they get the job done. Bodi n Balance also seems to draw a very young/high school crowd. This only becomes a 'con' to me as many of these younger patrons goof off, dance and even make out in the parking lot which is annoying to my workout. You also have to pay $4 per class (or a monthly fee for unlimited classes.) I understand why they do this but come from a larger gym where classes are included so bringing cash to the gym is a nuisance to me. Additionally, the class variance is not large and the times are not the very convenient for those who work a normal 8-5 work schedule. I also find this gym to be a bit overpriced in relation to my previous gym memberships. While there is not much to compare the prices to in the area, if you are moving here from a larger city, you will be disappointed to find that while the cost of your membership may be consistent with your previous gym, the services and options provided at that cost are much less.
In short, I will continue to use this gym as it is currently the best option available. However, I will continue to only purchase short contracts because the lack of equipment, class variety/schedule and small annoyances aren't worth me paying during the warmer months when I can take my workouts outdoors.

Unlimited group classes $20/mo for members is the best value I've found in the area. Plus, it's a 24 hr gym - what can your gym do?
(Wear shoes; the floors are usually too dirty for barefoot training - last week I took a glass splinter out of my foot between squats. I see them sweep daily, but this gym gets traffic for a reason.)
