Amazing training experience.
I just had back surgery and Jeff Palsa was able to get me back to good health. I had difficulty walking and the improvements he has made in strength training is remarkable.
His training techniques and attention to individual growth with weight lifting and exercise has been wonderful.
Highly recommended, Jeff is the consummate professional.

FIVE Stars for Chagrin Fitness all across the board! This gym is meticulously cared for and consistently spotless. The equipment is top of the line. The Personal trainers are true professionals and combine the perfect of balance of a no-nonsense workout and respect for their client's needs and abilities. I cannot say enough about this gym and its personal trainers. After working out at other gyms and with other trainers, I can tell you, there's no need to look anywhere else.

Can’t say enough positive things about Chagrin Fitness. The gym has great equipment and is meticulously clean and very private. I have been working out with Jeff for over 15 years, and he has helped me become much stronger and fit through completely personalized workouts and motivational coaching.

My wife and I have been clients of Chagrin Fitness for 20 and 18 years respectively. We would give them five stars for that entire time. Here’s why. We get a spotless workout area, highly qualified trainers, up to the date equipment, trainers who all get along and have a great sense of humor.
It’s not unusual for me to accomplish a physical task that would be too difficult without Chagrin Fitness. I call those my Chagrin Fitness events because I’m physically so much better than I would be without Chagrin Fitness.

After my first session, I did have a little bit of sweat on my brow, but I don't know that I would go back if I hadn't already purchased a package. This could be wrong, but I expect the person teaching me fitness techniques to be at the very least physically fit, if not impressively fit. This particular trainer told me one of the floor exercises I was going to do was for my "Muffin top", to which I thought to myself, "Well sir, you certainly must not be doing this excercise, because I can see YOUR muffin top." The other male trainer there at the time was not in tip top shape either.
I guess I just had higher expectations for a personal training session. I expected to be pushed harder than I would push myself. (I did more repetitions than I was supposed to a few times, just to get a little burn going.) I also felt he should have done more to find out what I am currently doing fitness wise to get a feel for what I needed help on. I really feel like I was taken through a cookie cutter routine today.
That said, this is a fantastic person for someone who has no real knowledge of equipment and doesn't know where to start as far as a "strengthening" routine. Some of the equipment could use some updating, as most people will not find all of the equipment I used today at their local gym. The way the routine was presented today sounded more like a rehabilitation/flexibility/strength building approach. (ie, kind of geriatric in nature)
I will complete my package and probably not go back.
