I’ve been working with Cole for the last 4 months. I enjoy every session. He’s very detailed and thorough while explaining new exercises and specifying muscle groups and activating them correctly. He doesn’t mind demonstrating the movement to ensure I don’t injure myself. He pushes his trainees and provides encouragement. He’s also patient when I forget which side is left/right.

I started working at CFF five months ago. I had just finished PT sessions post full knee replacement surgery. I was wanting to continue to build up strength after years of reduced activity due to uneven gait due to my knee. My trainer Megan has been great at tailoring the exercise sessions to increase my strength while ensure I am fully functional the next day and not hindered in any way due to painful muscles. She has been amazing at ensuring I have full body workout to gain overall mobility and strength.
CCF is a great place for people of all fitness levels and goals. Megan and all the trainers create a warm and welcoming training environment whether you are an athlete looking to train to make a national competition cut or just a person wanting to enjoy a nice pain free family hike.

Working out at CFF was a truly wonderful opportunity that I was given in the past 4 years of my life. I would not trade my experience with them for the world. I had the best trainer I could ever ask for. From day one Megan was kind compassionate and showed true care for me inside and outside the gym. Wether it was coming to my swim meets, asking me how my week has been or the countless stories that she’d listen to me tell, she was always there for me and I cannot even express how much she means to me. I will miss being able to spend as much time as I previously have been able to these past 4 years. But I know that they have set me up for college life and given me a head start on many things physical and non physical in my life. To me, I would not consider them trainers. I've been coaching wrestling at our local high school and decided to send a few of our wrestlers to Scott at CFF during the offseason and preseason. Not only did they gain significant strength and improved fitness, but Scott also played a pivotal role in shaping their mindsets to align perfectly with the demands of wrestling. The results have been phenomenal, and it's evident in their performance on the mat.

I’ve been working with my trainer Megan at CFF for over a year now and it has changed my life in so many ways. I have rheumatoid arthritis and was seeking a trainer who could help me exercise and gain strength in my joints in a way that was challenging but gentle/prevented injury. Megan is just that trainer! She tailors exercises to my specific needs and goals, constantly checks in on me to assess how I’m feeling and if I need more or less weight that day, and is always there to cheer me on! Before I met Megan and the CFF family, I was struggling with painful flare ups in my knees and shoulders and didn’t feel very positive in my future fitness abilities. This last year that I have worked with them once a week, I have been flare up free, can now get up off the floor without using my hands (major for me!!), and even ran a 5k which has previously seemed so impossible to me. Megan has been there every step of the way and has greatly encouraged me. Her and the CFF team have become close friends and family to me! I am so thankful for this group of people. You could not choose a better gym to train at for your strength training and functional fitness goals!

I truly cannot say enough good things about the Goodpasters and their team at CFF. I was referred here by someone close to me when I was 300 lbs and looking to change my life. CFF did exactly that for me. I was welcomed without judgement and have felt so much love and support from everyone. Workouts are customized to fit your needs and goals and from working out here for about a year i’ve noticed everyone’s workout is a bit (or very) different which I love! Fitness isn’t a one size fits all activity and they know this. I am now 143 lbs down and I can say that CFF helped save my life. My workouts have changed since the time I started training with Allison and trying new things that I couldn’t do before is so rewarding. Allison has been an extremely influential person in my life and to think i’ve only been training with her for a year is wild! Paul has been my trainer, and I have had a great experience. He pushes you to improve in an encouraging manner and adapts workouts to your strengths and weaknesses. I have been training with Lynda at CFF for a while now and it has been awesome. Her classes are challenging but she always gives you options if you just aren't feeling it that day. Classes at CFF are the perfect size so you get great personalized attention to make sure you are doing exercises correctly. All of the trainers at CFF are so friendly and welcoming. I joined CFF’s strength class for runners in 2016 & it has been the best addition to my training. I love this class because it’s designed to strengthen, but to also keep you injury free. I used to have knee pain during & after running. After one year of the class, I noticed my knees are stronger & pain free. As for the gym, I absolutely love all of the trainers! So knowledgeable & always looking out for their clients. I admire the owners, Scott & Allison! Great couple & always putting extra attention to their trainers & clients. And they have put in place safe procedures & disinfect all equipment during Covid.

I have been training at CFF for a few years, and it is always the highlight of my week. I started training at cff to gain strength in swimming, but I have gained more than just that. I have gained a lot more confidence in myself as a swimmer and a person. I have learned mental toughness and how to be more positive both in and out of the gym and pool. If you want to work out in a gym with a trainer that cares about your fitness journey, this is the gym for you. If you have goals and need the help to achieve them, this is where you need to be. Need accountability, this is the gym for you. They truly do care about your workout and also you as a client. They also have excellent group fit classes. You will know you worked hard when you're finished no matter if it's personal training or fit class. I live 20 miles from this gym and pass plenty on my way.

The strength training for runners program has made a big difference in my enjoyment of distance running. The trainers work very hard to adjust to the needs of their clients, regardless of experience level. Personally I've been able to run my marathons with better posture and efficiency. I started training at CFF last summer to help get stronger for my High School Wrestling season and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Scott and the staff make fantastic workouts specific to your goals and what you want to achieve. I wanted to make my grip strength better and every week we do a grip circuit that has made such a difference in my wrestling. The staff is not only some of the nicest and driven people you will ever meet, but they care about their clients immensely. I can't tell you how many times Scott, Ryan or Josh has texted me asking about how my wrestling season is going or asking how they can help me anyway they can. My 3 daughters went to CFF through high school and college - 32 seasons, 0 non-contact injuries. And when I hugged them, I could feel the core strength. Since they graduated, I have been going for ~6 years. I've gotten stronger AND, at nearly 49 years old, still run with no pain due to the leg component of the program (hips, glutes, hamstrings, and functional exercises). Overall I'm stronger with less pain than in my early 40s. The philosophy and execution are both top-notch.

They have a fit class taught by trainer Lynda, so if you don’t want to work out 1 on 1 definitely check out those classes. Lynda creates those classes so they are fun and also a fantastic work out there is no way you will leave without dripping sweat. Scott is so knowledgable in using proper functional exercises to keep my son healthy and strong for his sport as well as increasing his sport specific strength, range of motion, flexibility, etc. And besides all the benefits my son receives through CFF's physical training, he also gets great mentoring for mental toughness, positive thinking, building character, and achieving success, which is just as important. As a very average wrestler in grade school, I started going to CFF as a seventh grader. To say that CFF made me who I am today is an understatement. Not only did CFF and the trainers there help me become a 2x state qualifier and a state placer, but they also trained me in being a better version of myself. CFF was something I looked forward too twice a week. There would not be another place I would go too as CFF is a great environment all around. World-class!

I have been training weekly at CFF for the past 7 years. I'm also participating in the group FIT classes, and now do 2 classes/week. The variety of cardio options in the gym, as well as options for strength and core training keep my sessions interesting and challenging. Lynda Spurling is my trainer and the leader of the FIT classes. She is exceptional in her knowledge of her profession and has modified methods when needed for medical reasons. I have bought into and left more gym memberships than I can count. I very rarely miss a workout now. What stands out with CFF is how they care for me and all their clients. Lynda wanted to know my goals, my challenges and what I was committed to. That's what we work towards, MY goals. She holds me accountable! And it's not just Lynda, it is the entire team at CFF! They know you at CFF; they care about you; you become family there. You are known by your name. You have an entire team of people who are cheering you on to reach your goals, whatever they are. Don't get me wrong, it's work, but Lynda makes it fun, they all do. It's their culture. They're not just people sitting at some desk punching your 'hall pass' so you can get in. They all drink their own koolaide. They work too! There isn't a day that goes by that you don't see one of the trainers working out just as hard as they expect me to work. I've been going to CFF for several years and highly recommend them. Their personal trainers design a workout plan that fits your level and desire. The training encompasses weights, machines, resistance, core and cardio so you get a well-round work-out. I especially like the one-on-one training that I get from my trainer. She watches me the entire time to make sure my form is correct so I maximize my workout and don't hurt myself. Their business model is one-on-one training so social distancing is not a problem.

You won’t find a place that cares more about getting to know you and wants to help you reach your goals. I came in with low back pain and a high level of frustration because I couldn’t do the things that I love.
