Pool staff are going with no life experience, let alone how to talk to their elders !!! Got their friends running around the pools acting a fool cussing doing whatever they want .. them try to enforce rules on certain ppl ... I DO NOT pay a membership to be yelled at by children that don't follow rules of the YMCA as they should . One day I'm allowed to do certain things in the pool . But others I get yelled at by a child.... Get on the same page or leave me alone.. . .. there was a whole group of kids grabbing on each other hanging on each other's backs dunking each other under water cussing up a storm but as soon as my fiance gets on my back I got yelled at . And as I exit the pool a child " lifeguard" tells me to watch my mouth after the group of. Children still doing what they wanted nothing was said to them

My participation is mainly using the exercise room daily along with fellowship with the regulars. Really appreciate the staff that strives to make Clippard YMCA a great community resource by keeping it operational, clean, open, and safe. No small task. The fitness center here is nicer, compared to Y’s around this area.
But, my 2 stars is because I had to stop going to this one because the bathrooms grossed me out so bad. I thought it was maybe just a few bad times but unfortunately it was everytime.
Certain toilets would be stained and flooded, I would come back the next morning for my workout and the exact toilet would have the same stains same clog going on.
They do not maintenance the bathrooms here.
They are always wet beyond belief and disgusting. The smell of feces takes over as soon as you walk In. I have never felt clean or okay after coming out of these bathrooms.
I would rather get more creative in a smaller fitness area at another YMCA than ever have to go to these bathrooms again.

Seems like a nice place, good programs, but absurd "pool rules". My wife and I were with our 12 and 11 yr old kids who are excellent swimmers and we all got whistled at and told by the pool manager that we basically weren't allowed to go underwater as holding our breath at all was too dangerous I don't know whether this is because there are always a large number of unchaperoned minors who don't behave well, or what, but it's incredibly stupid. We will be looking for another swim club next year, and just pay for any programs we want to attend

I started up a gym membership at this location recently. I was pleasantly surprised that there is a full gym room with free weights as well as a multitude of machines for access as well. The pool was a bit difficult to swim in since it is heated and a bit too warm for my taste, but I will gladly go back again.

I like some of the perks a membership comes with but honestly it's just highway robbery! One parent and an adult is $90/month! Plus you'll have to pay a fee for a sport for the kids! It's just ridiculous! I canceled my membership the next day!

The staff is amazing and friendly and the pool and the weight room bring me to the Y. It is however not completely accessible for people with mobility issues, aged, and disabilities. Although it greatly serves this population. For instance, there are no handicap buttons to open doors to the pool areas and weight room. I asked a woman a few days ago how she gets through the doors with her wheeled device and she said she has to turn around backward and push open the door with her backside. This needs to change even if the building is excluded due to the "safe harbor" clause. Of which, I'm not sure it is. Thanks for having such a wonderful facility. I hope you will improve on it to make it an even better and independent experience for all of those who come to participate.

The outside pool is NOT an enjoyable experience. I would Not recommend it. Ugly cusswords words spoken. When I told the lifeguard. The lifeguards then told the teenagers that I requested they stopped cussing. Then I and my 11 year old son were targeted by the group of teenagers every time we return. Not enjoyable. Stay away.
