We work with clients of all ages in achieving their distinct fitness goals, whether it's enhancing strength, mobility, overall fitness, or preparing for sports competitions. My friend and I started training with Coach Dan about six months ago and he is AWESOME! We found him through my daughter's cross country program (which he is also excellent at) but he has really been a game changer for me and my friend/workout partner (my daughter and husband have also been to coach dan and love it).

He pushes you and makes you work all with a smile on his face and a great attitude so you want to do the work and improve. Working out with him has been very rewarding physically but also fun and enjoyable, which are not often words associated with working out. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for significant positive change. He's the best.

Dan has been training me for about 6 months. Before that I haven’t work out for 3 year and was completely out of shape. He designed the program that I can use the most of strength and progress each time. He pays great attention to technique and form that helped me lift weights safely and effectively, reducing my risk of injury.

In addition to in person training he sends me short and efficient programs to work at home with equipment I already have, and I can also use them when I travel.

His motivation kept me pushing through tough sessions, and I saw real progress in just a few months. If you're serious about strength training or just getting in shape and want a knowledgeable trainer, I highly recommend Dan!

Dan is amazing at what he does! In preparation for a 50-mile backpacking trip in the mountains, my 13-year-old son spent months working out with Dan. I joined them as well. Dan was a wealth of information! He was able to meet both of us where we were physically and mentally, offering incredible encouragement, knowledge and support. My son was more than ready for his trip following his preparation with Dan! And, at 51, I never felt stronger or more fit! Incredible!

For the last two years Coach Dan has coached my children's youth cross country team, and I am SO impressed by how he manages to make practices super fun and engaging while still holding the kids accountable and motivating them to push themselves (in a healthy, age-appropriate way). Both my not-very-active 7-year-old and my ultra-competitive 10-year-old love going to practice and have gained valuable skills over the course of the season, and it's been so rewarding (both for them and for us) to see their race times improve each and every week. Coach Dan is great. I am a 54 year old female and he helped me build my strength back to beyond my expectations. I became stronger and could lift so many things with ease. Before going to Dan I couldn’t even open a jar of pickles. Now I carry kayaks and 50lb buckets with ease. I became stronger than my husband so he started to go to Dan and my adult daughter. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I like deadlifts now and feel such a sense of inner strength. After I hit me a pause I got weaker but Dan showed me you don’t have too! I highly encourage everyone to do strength training with Dan! The accent is entertaining as well ! 😊💪

I highly recommend Coach Dan Murray for strength training work and his expertise in assisting people to become their best selves. I love working out in his well designed studio. It is a highlight of the week because it feels so good to lift heavy! As a physician, I spend my days encouraging people to exercise with both cardio and strength as part of their regimen (as well as flexibility and balance work). It can be quite challenging to begin this work by yourself. Dan can get you on a path to improved fitness. As we age, those that exercise enjoy improved healthspan. So do what I do and get in to see Dan for a few sessions and begin that stronger you journey. You will be happy that you did.
Dan also works with my daughter who is a cross country runner. He has been excellent in tailoring the workouts to help her as well.

Working out on your own is always a short lived endeavor. You have good ambitions but reality sets in. Having Dan as a coach 2 times a week provides a good routine and goals are met and achieved. Ive been able to tone areas, improve my core and deadlift some impressive numbers. Not to mention after my acl surgery he really helped me mentally believe return to play was possible.

I'm 61 years old. I've been working with Daniel for 12 months. He helped me get ready for a winter trip to Iceland that involved hiking and lots of walking on ice and snow covered surfaces. He carefully evaluated my mobility/endurance (pretty low) and set up a plan. Daniel has been creative in developing an exercise routine for me. Due to substantial orthopedic issues he often has to invent safe and effective ways for me to perform strength exercises. Daniel always finds a way to make it work for me. He has also helped me improve my nutrition and understand what is important for an older adult.
