Limited equipment and not a single person cleans the machines after using them

Would give 0 stars. Horrible gym, essentially fake. Never open, has no machines, The LC acts like it’s luxury but then really fakes it and never even tries. This gym is a façade.

Why are the hours so limited? 8-10AM on Saturday and only til 4pm on Friday? People usually get off work at 5pm and that’s not including night shift, 2nd shift etc. ridiculous hours completely unreasonable, have to go to the local planet fitness simply because you’re always closed

What kind of a gym doesn't have a cable machine?

Tough workouts that will always challenge you, caring coaches who will push you but always root you on, and a great atmosphere with fellow gym goers!

I agree with other reviews that this facility does not provide adequate gym equipment. It is essentially some ellipticals, some treadmills, and weights. No real gym machinery so it is hard to get a good workout. And the hours are less than ideal as well.

I was so thrilled for Code to open and have been going to the Open Community workouts on Saturdays every week I can. Coaches Andrew and Eunice bring the community together and are there to support us, both during and outside of workouts. It doesn’t matter your skill level, everyone is there to uplift one another and push each other to be better. I’ve found a core group of people who are always up to spend time together outside the gym, which is more than you could ever ask for and one of the characteristics that set Code a part from any other experience. Everyone is always welcome!

I was skeptical to start working out at Code to be honest. But after a few personal training sessions with coach Andrew, I fell in love with it. I then started going to the Code classes. I now go 4-6 times a week. These people have become my family. Its not only a GREAT workout, but it is a fun, no judgement zone where the coaches look out for your well being and make sure you using the correct posture, right weight, etc. Coaches Eunice and Andrew go way beyond your typical work out coaches... We push each other to be better, to go harder. That one hour of the day really makes the other 23 so much better! We have become so close that we celebrate holidays together, do white claw birthdays and tailgate at OSU.

I HIGHLY recommend this gym. Saying it's worth it doesn't even cover it.

This gym is supposedly a partner of the LC apartment complex. We used to have a 24/7 two level fitness facility that had cardio and weight machines, in addition to an open room for free classes and free weights. For some odd reason they closed this, and opened up this small place instead. It is so small, and they recently changed it so that those of us who don't do crossfit or want to pay extra for the group classes have little to no room. It's obvious they do not want us there unless we're paying even more in an already overpriced apartment. The hours are severely limited to 5am - 10pm, with group classes taking up half the space 530-630 am and pm. It is absurd. Yeah, everything is new, but it so obvious they do not want regular gym goers there it's ridiculous.

CODE New Albany has been such a great experience so far! The workouts are always challenging and changing, the trainers are enthusiastic and knowledgeable (plus awesome people) and the sense of community is unreal. We hangout on the weekends, do outings and fun things together and have had a blast getting to know one another! I would highly recommend joining this gym/family!

I love this gym. All of the equipment works, huge selection of free weights, rowers, jump ropes, kettle bells etc. I love the managers at this gym, they are so nice and welcoming. The facility is extremely clean and they have showers in the bathrooms.

Very limited equipment, not a lot of space and very inconvenient hours. The gym is all free weights and resembles a CrossFit gym in my opinion so it is not very user friendly for the average gym goer. The upside is the little equipment they have is nice and new.

The hours are not accommodating, the space isn’t enough since the hours are short. At LC New Albany we are use to having 24 access. Sad to say I am very disappointed. The gym is an overrated gym space. There’s only one bathroom stall and one sink no changing room in the ladies room. And random cubbies like pre school. I miss our old gym. Now I have to get a gym membership at some other gym farther away because the hours I work and the cramped gym.
