I injured my knees in May of 2025. I was assessed by a wonderful orthopedic doctor, who is a proponent of using non invasive methods of treating joint and muscle injuries. She referred me to Carly for physical therapy. I’m so glad she did!
Carly was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and highly trained in physical therapy and Pilates. She provided me with exercises, information, techniques, and tools to not only rehabilitate my knees but to also gain overall better strength, stability, and mobility. This encouraged me to then incorporate Pilates sessions with her.
Her one on one Pilates sessions with me were personalized and tailored to what I needed. They were incredibly helpful in continuing to not only rehabilitate my knees but to also improve strength in other areas. Carly helped me learn about the benefits of Pilates and gain a new appreciation for this form of exercise.
Overall, I highly recommend Carly to anyone looking for physical therapy and/or Pilates instruction with a caring, mindful, individual who offers a holistic approach to rehabilitating and strengthening your body in a wonderful setting.
She was truly outstanding…and my knees feel so much better!

I’ve been seeing Carly for about four months for hypermobility-related injuries, fascia, tendon, and ligament pain, as well as private Pilates sessions. She was recommended by a relative who had great results, and I’m so glad I found her.
She is extremely knowledgeable—especially about hypermobility—and has helped me understand why my body is prone to certain injuries in ways no one else has been able to. She listens carefully, remembers every detail of my case, and tailors each session to my changing needs. Her approach is thoughtful, organized, and holistic—she always has helpful resources, follows up, and provides personalized exercises (complete with videos) for reference.
Since working with her, I’ve noticed significant improvements: less pain, more mobility, and more confidence in my body. I’m able to be more active in daily life because I’m less limited by chronic injuries. The Pilates work in particular has been incredibly restorative for both my body and my nervous system.
I always leave sessions feeling better—physically and mentally. She’s conscientious, kind, trustworthy, and truly an expert in her field. I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone dealing with chronic pain, hypermobility, or injury recovery.

I came to Carly for the first time last week! She is so passionate about what she does. You can tell that helping people learn how to use their body and feel strong is something she strives for! Carly is knowledgeable and patient. She is very thorough in her work and is able to explain the movements in ways that are easy to follow and understand. It was my first pilates experience and she was so informative about all of the equipment, and was also mindful not to make me feel overwhelmed. Her business model is one of a kind! She is a great resource for anyone looking to improve their physical strength, heal an injury, try something new, or build their foundation from the ground up!

This is a long story ! am 60 years old and very active. I have done dance step aerobics for more than 35 years, I hike, downhill ski and cross country ski. I had an issue two weeks ago and couldn’t walk without extreme pain. I never go to doctors but was able to see a podiatrist , because I thought I might have a fracture . I did not have a fracture and he told me I had cuboid syndrome and should wear a boot and stay off my foot for at least 3weeks. Obviously that was not happening , since I am very active and I I told him I would be back for the boot. I went to see Dr Carly, 2 days later, and she told me my foot was Locked Up. She worked on my foot for 2 hours and gave me special exercises with her special ball and told me to perform the exercises daily. I have not missed a day of her therapy and saw Her today. She told me my foot was much more Mobil and obviously I have not had the pain, since I have been following Dr Carly’s orders. I also hurt my back the last couple days, and she totally helped me with that issue .She is the best PT I ever saw! I would love to see her weekly. Good luck to all. She Rocks!

I was not sure what to expect when I made the appointment with CRC Pilates. I knew it was a studio with a Pilates machine (which I had never been on.) I knew the owner, Carly, had an extensive background in physical therapy. Everything about the experience was pleasant. The office waiting room is intimate and peaceful. There are books to look through. Carly's studio is unlike any type of "healthcare/therapy/personal training" setting I'd ever been to. Picture a super clean, simple space with her equipment and a wall of windows allowing the space to be bathed in light. Carly spent a good amount of time talking to me about my goals and expectations regarding my body. It helped that she sent me a fun and comprehensive questionaire ahead of the appointment so she already knew what she wanted to focus on. She observed my posture/stance/gait/balance/general body movements. There was never a feeling of insecurity as I knew she was looking through the lense of her extensive physiological knowledge only concerned with how she could help me improve. We talked about the alignment of my right leg and what is best for my feet. She hands-on explained to me the parts of my foot, did some pressure work (that's what I am calling it). The sensations on my foot with what she was doing revealed to me that I need to pay more attention to my feet- we all do! I learned some techniques to care for my high arches and toes traumatized from a "past life" wearing heels (aka my 30s). What really surprised me was what I learned about breathing. She could tell things about my breathing that could be improved and explained to me how and why. Once on the machine (which is quite comfy), she guided me through the movements and explained to me the benefits of what seemed like uneventful movements (not saying easy!) It's crazy to me how such slight, precise, slow movements can be so beneficial to a strong core. From hamstrings to all the muscles of the abs and back and shoulders and chest, she guided me through the movements all while reminding me how to breath properly for most benefit. Here's the bottom line: if you are looking to improve mobility at ANY level, there is nothing else out there like what Carly at CRC has to offer because nowhere else will you have a highly trained, medical professional working with you, one-on-one like your own personal trainer!

Carly is an exceptional Pilates instructor who really stands out for her approach to teaching. Before jumping into the workout, she takes the time to explain the anatomy of the body and how specific movements can benefit you. This helps me better understand the exercises and how to perform them safely and effectively. I really appreciate how she emphasizes the importance of form and body awareness, which not only improves the quality of the workout but also prevents injuries. Her deep knowledge of the body and Pilates principles makes every session feel like a personalized experience. I left feeling stronger, more informed, and with a deeper connection to my body. Highly recommend Carly for anyone looking to elevate their fitness routine with a thoughtful, educational approach!

Left our session feeling more connected in my body and integrated with my core. She gave me simple practices to incorporate into my day in a realistic way. She is very knowledgeable and is good about checking in and only doing what you are ready for. Will be back. Thank you Carly!

Carly is a wealth of knowledge and excited to share! As a bodyworker myself, I'm thankful for her careful working style, always checking in and providing helpful cues. I've already learned more about my alignment and am consciously utilizing that awareness in other activities. Thanks, Carly! 🤸‍♀️

I had the privilege of experiencing my first Pilates session on 12/17/24 at CRC Pilates.

I’m 61 years old & struggle w chronic pain due to multiple musculoskeletal issues. I stretch & exercise regularly. But have been noticing more pain & stiffness over the past several months. I know some of this is caused by aging but I wanted to incorporate something else to see if that gave me some hope or relief. Chronic pain is frustrating & depressing. It was suggested by a friend that I try Pilates.

At first I was reluctant. I couldn’t see what the benefit would be but I decided to give it a try.

I chose CRC Pilates because I have worked with Carly in the past following rotator cuff surgery. I knew her skill & work ethic were top notch.

Carly did NOT disappoint! Her studio is warm & welcoming. She has beautiful equipment ( I’m just learning how some of these machines work). She did a thorough assessment of me. She asked several questions about me. And answered my questions & concerns with kindness, patience, humor & genuine concern.

When it came time to start doing some exercises, she explained and was hands on helping me with breath & core work that she said will help with my overall wellbeing as well as relieving me of some of my pain issues.

Even with the few exercises she provided, I felt my body engage. I felt some fatigue in my abs. And learned that my breathing needed some work. I could feel the difference when she showed me some exercise to help with that.

I felt very hopeful upon completion of this session. I’m hoping with continued sessions & practice, I’ll have some relief from my pain as well as better overall physical & emotional strength & wellbeing.

I look forward to working with Carly in the future.

I highly recommend Carly’s expertise & facility to anyone looking for help with chronic pain, or an interest in learning how to experience Pilates & physical therapy. She’s the best!

Thanks Carly

The space was bright and inviting! Carly is very skilled at what she does and you can tell she’s passionate about working with people. You get much more out of it personally than you would a Pilates class because it’s one on one. Carly is able to focus on what your own body needs in the time scheduled. In my first appointment I learned so much about my posture, breath work and how it will apply to my Pilates practice moving forward. Can’t wait to go back!
