I joined CrossFit Cleveland in July after years of being on and off with my fitness routine. Honestly, I was nervous to try CrossFit—I worried it might be intimidating, too intense to start, or overly competitive. But from day one, it’s been the total opposite.
The community here is incredibly welcoming, with people of all fitness levels supporting one another. Coach Staci and Coach Bill create a motivating environment that pushes me in the best way possible. I’ve found myself actually enjoying the challenge, which has helped me stay consistent like never before.
Since joining, I’ve seen real progress—both in and out of the gym. I’ve lost weight, dropped inches, and shaved over two minutes off my mile time. I even bought a pair of size small shorts for the first time since college. That’s the kind of motivation and momentum I never found at a regular gym.

I’ve been a member of CrossFit Cleveland in Rocky River, Ohio since August of last year. Most people get intimidated when they hear the words CrossFit gym. It’s not what you think! I can honestly say it’s been a game changer for my fitness journey! The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help me scale workouts to my level. Since joining, I have noticed a huge difference in my strength and overall fitness. The key take away for me has been the importance of consistency and taking baby steps towards my goals. Even when progress feels slow and I don’t see the difference right away, I’ve learned to trust the process and celebrate small victories along the way, especially when I hit a personal record! But the benefits haven’t stopped just in physical strength. My cholesterol levels have significantly dropped since I started working out every morning, Monday through Friday! It’s amazing to see the impact that regular exercise has had on my overall health. While I was very apprehensive at first, working with Staci as my Nutrition and Accountability Coach has been the best decision I have made this year! From the very first meeting, I felt understood, encouraged, challenged, and supported.
Working with Staci has helped me to improve my sleep, to return to making delicious meals, and to have strategies in place when my normal response to stress was to turn to food. In just 10 weeks, I lost 20 pounds, 2 inches around my waist, and 2 inches around my hips. But even more than the weight and inches, I feel so much better, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally!
Staci has helped me to be more aware of the little victories every day and to notice the changes that are happening from being consistent, not perfect . She has helped me to start changing my mindset, so that reaching my long-term goals are just a part of an overall transformation to a lifestyle of healthy eating, movement, and living!
I have done many programs before, but I can say that the difference in this program is the one-on-one support, expertise, patience, knowledge, authenticity, and encouragement that Staci constantly provides. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Staci!

Bill, Stacy and all of the trainers are fantastic, and the workouts are balanced and varied so you get stronger everyday but never bored.

I have been going to Cleveland CrossFit for a little over 3 months. I have been paired up with Coach Alex who has fixed my extremely poor diet of pizza all the time to a more sustainable lifestyle with realistic eating habits. As a result, I have gotten much leaner and stronger. This gym also has a family atmosphere, if you are looking for that, i find it supportive. I try to go 5 days a week in the mornings before work and I am able to get a 6am class and the gym is conveniently halfway to work. I enjoy CrossFit Cleveland as it is a good fit for me, would recommend.

I joined CrossFit cleveland in 2021 and have been hooked ever since. My favorite thing about this gym is the people! Everyone is so nice and encouraging! It is not competitive at all and nobody is judging you! That was my biggest fear of joining group workouts! Another thing I love is that they give you modifications for each movement if you can’t do it! All ages are at this gym which is another reason why I love it. If I am having a bad day, I know I need to go to the gym because everyone always makes me feel so good and happy. It is truly such a great place to be and I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

CrossFit Cleveland has been nothing short of welcoming since day 1. The community there is supportive and always kind to everyone! I’m an avid lifter, but have never done any sort of CrossFit training before. The coaches teach you every move incorporated in the workout (for the LITE Class, I can’t speak on the normal classes) and modify the movement if you’ve had a prior injury and are in need of that modification. I highly recommend trying the “LITE Class”, you will still get a great workout and the first one is free!

If you are looking for a gym, give CrossFit Cleveland a try! The workouts are always different and always challenging, but they can be scaled to any level, so you’ll never feel like you’re doing more than you can handle. The coaches here will teach you proper technique and encourage you to push yourself, but it’s never crazy competitive. The focus is on good overall health, with lots of talk about proper rest and nutrition. I’m over 60 years old and have been a member of the gym for 9 years, and I’ve never been in better shape, and I’ve never had as much fun working out in a friendly community.

Being new to Cleveland, working fully remote with failed attempts to work out on my own from home, I decided to try out CrossFit Cleveland. I was nervous about getting hurt in the gym since I haven’t done much with barbells before, so when they made it a point to have me learn the movements without weight before fully committing to a membership I felt so relieved and assured this would be a great new journey for me. I think it’s been around 5 months and I can safely say I feel a lot stronger, confident and have made some new friends and love the accountability. I recommend this place to anyone who isn’t comfortable working out on their own, there’s always adjustments if you have injuries and also early classes available so you can own the day! Also, there are members with all different fitness levels you don’t have to already be in shape to get started! Very welcoming and encouraging. Highly recommend!

I was adamant, not to join CrossFit due to stereotypes I’ve heard in the past. THIS GYM is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been too. The coaches care! They call you by name and know what’s going on in your life. My 4:30pm crew is always cracking jokes and supporting each other through the work out. My 6:30 crew (LITE class) was where I first found my home at this gym. There is no pressure, no crazy lifts, just community and a great work out. Staci and Bill have cracked the code for gym life and make it a fun and safe place to get an amazing work out.

I want to say I HATE CrossFit Cleveland - mostly owner Staci. I hate that she FORCED me to exercise and completely change my eating habits that has, quite literally, forever transformed my body, mind, and spirit!!
CrossFit Cleveland has saved my life!!! I am 58, overweight and have heart disease. I joined their Executive program almost 2!!! years ago. I could not do a sit-up, a step-up, or really much of anything. Staci, through her Nutritional Mentor program, and Bill through his tremendous coaching skills, grabbed me - kicking and screaming - and guided (pulled) me through my transformation. I was not (am not) easy and Staci and I have had many crying sessions along the way, however, with her 1:1 coaching, texts, "motherly" nudging, recipe exchanges, food tours, cooking demonstrations... I find myself looking forward (most of the time) to my classes AND meal prep is now just part of my life routine. If I can do this... ANYONE CAN!!! I have lost weight and inches, my legs look great and I genuinely feel good for the first time in my life.
So... I don't hate CrossFit Cleveland, I LOVE them and I love every member of that gym as we are all down to earth, welcoming people who come together to encourage each other.

I have been going to CrossFit Cleveland since June of 2021 I walked in at 241 pounds heaviest I’ve ever been, So I entered the gym world in fear of how everyone would see me, or judge me. The first few minutes of meeting Staci and Bill that fear quickly went away they opened the door with welcoming arms!! They have pushed me along with the coaches and all the members on a daily!! . Some people think the gym isn’t for them just because they have that fear of judgment? well I assure you CrossFit Cleveland and everyone that attends CrossFit Cleveland are there with a helping hand and nothing but good and positive advice. Worked out here for 4 weeks while visiting Cleveland. The trainers and members were all super friendly and engaging. The workouts were exactly what we needed and could be modified to be easier or more challenging. They have a wide range of class offerings each day and reserving a spot for class is super easy. Id definitely come back!

I LOVE CrossFit Cleveland! Bill, Staci, Courtney and the rest of the trainers are top notch. They meet you where you're at, help you learn proper form, encourage consistency and other factors to optimize your workout and life outside the gym (diet, sleep, community). And - they push you to stretch and grow outside of your comfort zone - in a good, good way! :) CrossFit isn't just for elite athletes - it's for virtually everyone. This 'box' has members of all levels and fitness/ability. Very friendly, not competitive, and very fun group. I can't recommend it enough!

Was in town to visit family and dropped in here a couple of times. The athletes were great, the coaches were great, and it's like less than a mile from my mom's house. What more could you ask for? I'll definitely be back around the holidays.

I was definitely intimated to try CrossFit and had tried numerous other gyms and personal trainers in the past, but nothing really stuck. CrossFit Cleveland offered a “CrossFit Lite” series that made me feel more comfortable about dipping my toe into this gym. After a few weeks of the Lite classes where I learned the basic workout moves & got my stamina up with other newbies, we joined the regular CrossFit workouts and I’m hooked! Every class is a challenge, as it should be so your workouts and results don’t get stale, but I never feel that I am in a situation where I don’t belong. The instructors are always there to help you with a modification if you’re new, like me, or just to encourage you. It’s a friendly group of people! Cannot recommend enough!

I remember when we moved to this location years ago. I originally started with Bill & Staci In 2012 when we were on Madison in Lakewood. Bill & Staci have done a great job of creating community. What makes this gym different is everyone is friendly and helpful. You will never find a gym with more great members who help and encourage each other. Whatever your fitness goals are Bill & Staci can help you get there. They are experts in exercise and nutrition and they are constantly adding to their knowledge.

I worked out here for close to 3 years until I bought a house and moved 40 minutes away. Bill, Staci and their team got me back into great shape, and both the comaraderie and the fun competition were my favorite parts. I sadly don't work out here anymore it's not in my budject right now stupid car...u but once I get my normal budject back you best believe I will be back here Staci and Bill are amazing really amazing kind down to earth people Shauna is great as well they all care about helping you improve your life I'll tell you I busted my lip wide on vacation and Staci called and checked on me every other day to make sure I was ok and that I was healing alright She is the reason why I will be back if your thinking about trying out CrossFit please go here you will not regret it I have made friends here just from working it this is a family oriented CrossFit not stab each other to get ahead this is the only CrossFit location you will ever want to go to once you meet Staci and Bill trust me

Amazing place! Would recommend to anyone! I came to CrossFit Cleveland looking for something to provide me with a workout that would help me to get a little stronger. I had been trying to get into shape on my own and seemed to be stuck. CrossFit Cleveland has not only helped me to improve my strength, they have surrounded me with support, encouragement, and the knowledge to improve myself all around. This is truly a community that only wants to see each person be the best version of themselves they can be. Bill has a knack for knowing exactly how much weight to lift, while maintaining good form and staying safe. I have even signed up my daughter for the lite classes and she loves it just as much as I do! Highly recommended to anyone!

Dropped in here mid-morning to do my programming for the day along with my girlfriend and I couldn't have picked a better gym to stop in at. My stop here was a big part of why my day in Cleveland was so great! The staff was very personable and welcoming, even though there were classes going on we felt at home with plenty of space to work with. Great atmosphere, tons of equipment, nice bathrooms with showers, and good people. Will definitely come back to drop-in when I'm back in Cleveland.

I am a newer member to CrossFit Cleveland (less than 3 months) but it sure doesn't feel that way. The group is welcoming and the owners involve every member, new and old, in all of the gym events and happenings. They are very dedicated to making sure their members have the tools to be successful. It's really about the people. The coaches are great and really care for the members. They provide great workouts and support, knowing how hard to push people without pushing too hard. And the other members are fun too...everyone is very supportive and willing to help each other. The space is big, with plenty of rigs for pull-ups, T2B, etc., and plenty of equipment for everyone. Overall a very positive experience!

CrossFit Cleveland is one of my very favorite places in the Cleveland area. As soon as you walk in the door, there is someone there to greet you with a warm smile and a happy hello. The workouts are designed so that everyone can complete them to their own abilities. The intimidation that CrossFit sometimes gives us completely goes away the second you walk in the door here. I highly recommend if you haven't stopped in to check this place out yet, you should make a trip in immediately. You won't be sorry!

Bill and the trainers at CrossFit Cleveland are truly awesome. I own a CrossFit affiliate myself in Metro Detroit (Motor City CrossFit), but my parents live in Cleveland. THIS is the affiliate I trust to train my parents, and anyone else I know who lives even close.
If you live in the area, get out here and train with these guys. Even if it's a 20+ minute drive for you, it's worth it, trust me.
