Our program focuses on building strength as well as developing cardiovascular endurance through high-intensity interval training. We also believe good nutrition is the foundation of fitness, and provide nutrition guidance and support along the way.

CrossFit Ironside has been a fantastic experience for me. The structure, programming, and coaching has pushed me to improve my physical performance in a challenging but safe way. I have had my share of previous injuries from weightlifting and CrossFit style workouts in the past, but I feel that this gym is operated in such a way that encourages people to move better and prevent injury.
Personally, I have seen improvements to my conditioning, mobility, and functional strength. I have recently outperformed my personal best physical fitness test required for work, and feel ready to meet any physical demands thrown my way.

Signing my 13 year old son up for CrossFit classes at Ironside was one of the best decisions we’ve made. As a parent, I wanted him to be ready and conditioned for fall football.
Daniel, Melissa, and the other coaches are phenomenal: knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly motivating. They taught him proper form, encouraged him every step of the way, and identified areas of weakness to work on. In just a few months, he lost 21 pounds of body fat and gained 8 pounds of muscle, which speaks volumes about the effectiveness of the program.

I’ve had such a great experience at Ironside. When joining I was new to weight lifting and didn’t know where to start.
They have a good on-ramp program which made me comfortable and confident in my fitness goals and needs.
The nutrition program was personalized, supportive, and easy to follow. One of the biggest reasons the nutrition program at Ironside worked so well for me was the accountability. I had regular check-ins that helped me stay on track, and knowing someone was following up with me kept me motivated to stick with my goals. I felt genuinely cared for and motivated every step of the way. On top of that, the community is amazing—encouraging, friendly, and fun. I highly recommend Ironside to anyone looking to improve their health and fitness goals.

Before joining I had recently hurt my knee on the Appalachian Trail after a 22mi backpacking trip. Was hurting for over 5-8mths. So I decided to join Ironside. I started out doing 1:1 training with Daniel back in Jan in hopes to get back out on the trail by late Spring. Found out I was in even worse shape than I'd thought. Primarily low cardio energy from sitting at a desk all day. So, we made a plan, set goals, and got to work. He and all of the Ironside staff/athletes know what they are doing and are great listeners, passionate about helping you achieve your goals and encouraging you to get you where you need to be. Happy to report that I recently got in another 22+ mi backpacking trip without any knee or other injury!!! My body feels stronger than ever. I still got a ways to go, but continuing to stick to our plan. Aiming for walking on my hands and the ability to do pistol squats!! Now I'm getting into the group classes. Such an amazing group of dedicated folks pushing one another. So glad to be apart of Ironside!!!

I can’t say enough about Ironside CrossFit! I feel like my own routine I had been using for 30 years was loosing momentum and I was just going through the motion's in my workout. My body is now stronger than ever and my back and knees are no longer weakness' like they have been in the past. I’m so thankful. What a blessing!

I've been just over 3 months into my CrossFit journey wanted to shout out Daniel Anguiz and Melissa Anguiz, along with their entire coaching staff on the experience so far. It has been an extremely welcoming environment with people of all ages, shapes, and athletic abilities and the team goes out of their way to be sure that everyone is educated and appropriately supported to get the best of themselves.
I really enjoy knowing that I'm working on being the strongest version of myself at this time and continually preparing to take on life as I get older. And that's one thing I was not expecting... a lot of the members are not too far off from my age and its incredible seeing everyone work hard, support each other, and celebrate the wins along the way

I joined Crossfit Ironside in November’24, went through the onboarding process, where I learned the proper and safe way to lift weights. In January, I have signed up for the nutrition challenge, and have lost 10lb in four weeks! I have reset my eating and exercise habits with the guidance from Melissa and Daniel - the owners of the gym.
My body and mind are stronger and healthier.

I took a 6 year hiatus from Crossfit, and researched a few boxes before I took a chance on Ironside when I was ready to come back. It has been such a positive experience that I could not have done on my own. Daniel and Melissa are great owners, and really strive to get members to be consistent in their attendance so they can see the positive results in their progressions. My 90 day check-in has been helpful, working on my particular deficiencies that I needed assistance with. Rope climbs have improved significantly with the last check-in with Daniel. Also, I'm generally a shy guy, but the coaches and community have been very friendly every time I attend class. Thanks Ironside!

As a new member of the CrossFit community, Ironside helped me to build confidence in my lifts all while having a fun time in the 6:00 am class. Even though I was only able to stay for a few months prior to my move, the community here welcomed me with open arms and I formed new friendships immediately. For me, the personal training sessions at Ironside were key to learning certain movements like the Olympic lifts, the overhead squat or even dialing in double unders. Having a coach fine tune proper set up position and overall technique was extremely beneficial!

I can’t say enough good things about Ironside and the coaches and community. The on ramp process really helped get me ready for group classes and gave me the confidence to do the exercises on my own. Daniel and Melissa gave a lot of specific 1:1 attention to prevent injury and make sure the correct technique was demonstrated before moving on. It was also well structured and thoughtfully planned out at a good pace, and stretched out over 4 weeks so I could adapt at a reasonable pace. The coaches still give me feedback in group classes which is always welcomed and helps the continual improvement process.
The other thing I didn’t expect was how welcoming and genuinely awesome the community is. People make you feel right at home and support each other hitting goals which just makes going to the gym fun. Thank you!!!

Before coming to Ironside, I was doing resistance training 4-5 times a week. I was having trouble staying consistent with cardio, and needed some direction. I've been with Ironside for 5 years, and as expected, my cardio fitness has improved greatly. Coming from a weightlifting background, I didn't expect much improvement in my strength. With Ironside's programming, my strength has increased in all traditional lifts. I've also been exposed to new strength movements that have improved my overall strength and size. I am grateful to Daniel and Melissa for providing a facility that accepts people at any stage of their fitness journey, and for helping me reach strength/conditioning milestones that did not know I was capable of.

My experience at Ironside has been phenomenal! Prior to joining Ironside, running was my primary source of exercise. However, I wasn’t doing much of it because it had become boring and repetitive. I liked the idea of CrossFit because it offered a more well rounded, complete workout and every day is different so it never became repetitive or boring. However, with the warmer weather moving in, I decided to pick up running again. I wasn’t sure where I’d be since I hadn’t focused on running in over 6 months. Much to my surprise, I was able to run a 30 minute 5K on my first time out. I’m currently prepping for a 10K and looking at potentially signing up for longer runs later in the summer. When I was running before, 10K was my peak. I fully credit my experience at Ironside with the progress I’ve made. It’s incredible to me that it helped me become a much better runner than I was ever able to when I was only running. The coaches at Ironside very much adhere to the philosophy that CrossFit is for everybody, regardless of current fitness level or experience. I would recommend Ironside to anybody!

My son and I had never done CrossFit before coming to Ironside a couple years ago. The members and trainers were extremely welcoming and the workouts are appropriate to any fitness level (first timers to someone training for competition). Since joining CrossFit Ironside 3 years ago with the help of Daniel and Melissa and their coaches, I have seen dramatic results not only to my weight lifting performance but to my overall physical conditioning and health. Melissa and Daniel has worked with me one on one to establish goals to reach in my conditioning and also my weight training. They make sure I am achieving the right form so I will not injure myself and teach me the right habits and consistency to my lifts. If I need to alter an exercise they do that too. I would highly recommend CrossFit Ironside and give them a 5 star rating!

Passionate and Professional What comes to mind mind to define Crossfit Ironside. Owners and also being coaches, Daniel and Mellissa Anquiz are caring about the right way of doing things and also providing constant coaching in group classes. I was initially intimidated and hesitant to walk into Crossfit Ironside for the first time. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find how welcoming and non-threatening the environment there is. I joined Ironside 9 months ago and it has changed my life. I’ve ran most of my life trying to achieve the body composition I’ve achieved in months at Ironside. It’s been a great experience that has been challenging, educational, fun, addictive and, most of all, rewarding. The programming is structured for all levels of fitness, the coaching is personal and engaging, and the members are friendly and supportive. It’s a perfect mix of competition, yet never feeling less than, as everyone is really only competing with themselves. As a PT who saw my fair share of patients come in with CrossFit injuries I swore I would never do CrossFit. However, when a friend convinced me to try it I found CrossFit Ironside. That was 2 years ago and I have been hooked ever since. Daniel and Melissa are fantastic and the community at Ironside is like none other. At Ironside, CrossFit is for all ages and all fitness levels. The coaches work with you to make sure you’re comfortable while pushing yourself at the same time. The nutrition plan from CrossFit Ironside has changed my whole perspective on dieting. I used to just be a weight watcher person and felt like it was the only diet for me, but once Daniel explained the nutrition piece and the app to use it has changed me. Great gym, great coaches! I’ve been dropping in CrossFit gyms all across the states and Crossfit Ironside is definitely top three in my book. Never felt out of placed and felt welcomed immediately. Coach Daniel and coach Amoury were very helpful and fantastic coaches. They are one of the only gyms to really concentrate on strength training as their agenda at the beginning of class. Not a lot of the CrossFit gyms do so I really appreciated that. Once again thanks for the hospitality and if you’re local or from out of town check out CrossFit Ironside

My wife has been working out here for a while and I've finally decided to join her. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I've had a couple of injuries that limit what I can do, and the coaches here have been awesome about helping me scale the movements to things I can do, while still getting in a good workout.
