Incredible gym! This has to be the most well equipped gym in Ohio. They literally have every machine and piece of equipment you could imagine! Extremely clean, equipment is well taken care of, and Dean is a really nice guy. So excited that I found this gym!

The best gym I have ever been a member of. After moving to a new residence, my appreciation for the Caputo family, staff, and upkeep of the gym has only increased. No gym can compare with this.

The gym has a variety of high quality equipment always kept in working condition. I never worried if a machine or equipment piece was available as there are plenty to go around. Loved my time here!

Dean and his wife Monica and the rest of his family are amazing.The moment that you walk through the powerhouse gym doors is a great experience, it’s very upbeat and positive if your not in a good mood when you first get there you will be when you leave. powerhouse gym is the cleanest gym I’ve ever trained in.The wide variety of equipment is awesome.If your older and want to use hammer machine equipment it has plenty of those to offer the machines are joint friendly which helps me train hard without hurting my jointsI would recommend this gym to anyone young or old! The atmosphere is amazing thanks Dean and family for bringing back the powerhouse gym to Streetsboro!!!

I’ve been looking for a new gym to call “home” ever since coming out East…FINALLY, I found it! Like all the reviews say, I will echo that Dean and family are SUPER friendly, as is the rest of the staff. Gym is WELL-equipped, EXTREMELY clean, and laid out very nicely. I used to be a travel nurse, so have been to gyms all around the country. This one is top-notch!!! Also, fees are very fair and competitive!!!!!

Dean is one of the founding fathers of modern bodybuilding and has tailored this gym to meet the needs of everyone from beginners to powerlifters to sport-specific athletes to professional bodybuilders. It's not uncommon to see an octogenarian working out next to someone whose poster is on the wall.

Powerhouse is effectively two gyms in one, delineated by walls so that you can pick your comfort zone or float freely between the two areas as most do. There's also a turf zone which is nice for plio, agility, stretching, etc. This is also sequestered with a wall which keeps it quiet and private.

The ethos is purpose-driven but friendly, and the place is always kept spotless.

Oh and Dean takes vested interest in your success. Forthcoming would be an understatement--he wants you to win. Who better to learn from than one of the authors of the sport?

Just moved to Ohio a few weeks ago. This place has become my temple and 2nd home. It is a CLEAN gym, the staff and members are friendly and involved, and there is more than enough equipment to achieve your own fitness goals, no matter what they are.

Dean and his team are wonderful people. They run a great clean facility that attracts clients you want to be around. No attitude or judgement and some very average to very serious fitness and body building type folks. I have never not been greeted or bid farewell in my 3 years there. Probably one of the best gyms in the area. I've been going here for about a year and a half and I feel like I've never seen broken or horribly damaged equipment. This place gets packed at peak hours (4-6pm weekdays) and is really hard to use then. Otherwise, it's great.

This place is the real deal. It’s the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to, and has every piece of equipment you could ask for. You’ll find find plenty of serious lifters, but it seems welcoming to the average joe too. Signed up for their 18 month membership shortly after a free workout. Very fair prices for what is offered.

Visited from out of town to the holidays, needed a good workout, and definitely found what I was looking for here. Tony at the front desk was super friendly, helpful, and present. Facility/restrooms were clean. Equipment was well maintained. Large turf area, Hammer strength weight lifting area, lots of cardio options, and variety of machines. Good energy. Would definitely make this my home gym if I lived here. 10/0 recommend. 👍

This is LITERALLY the nicest, CLEANEST and best Gym I have ever been to (I have worked out at a number of gyms big and small). Also, everything is Hammer Strength!!!!! CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN-W/well spaced equipment (they have 3 'storefront spaces'). If you're a NOVICE or an EXPERT-you'll feel comfortable HERE. Everything from free weights, cable machines, racks, Smith machines, treadmills, & ellipticals, etc. EVEN A PRACTICE STAGE ROOM, complete with wooden floors-full length mirrors-stage lighting (to get ready for competitions). Super friendly front desk-they're the owners and their family (obviously they have a vested interest in keeping the space tidy, pleasant and members/visitors happy)! Day passes or memberships are available. Restrooms with lockers (& showers-HOWEVER the COVID situation put a kabash on OH gyms using showers currently). Cooler w/cold beverages/protein shakes, protein bars and a pretty good selection of hats/tanks/bags/etc-if you'd like something with the name on em' (or you forgot something@home like me 😋).

This gym is for anyone who wants the cleanliness of a planet fitness with the intensity of an 80's powerhouse gym. Staff is extremely friendly, prices are great, and they have a full range of equipment from treadmills, to pulleys, to deadlifting stations. Equipment layout is spacious and you always feel you have enough room. Staff and patrons are good about cleaning and sanitization.

This is the best gym I have ever joined! I have been going since they opened! I love the three gyms and especially the posing room. As a bikini competitor I really appreciate the posing room! They have all the equipment I need. The gym is incredibly clean. It is the best part of my day, and I cannot wait to be back soon! I am very thankful for all the staff and everything they do for their members. I would recommend this gym to anyone:)
