My daughter has been with EPIC for three years and she loves it.
The staff are so welcoming, helpful, nice and truly loving to every child (and parent) that comes through their doors.
They have become like a second family and it is truly the highlight of my daughter's week to go see her dance-family.

We have been with the studio about 3 years and it’s been the absolute best experience for our whole family. This is not your typical mean mom group or drill instructor tearing down your child’s self confidence. This studio has felt more like family than anything else. The director Rhenee has been above and beyond to help our daughter when she struggles and so have all of her teachers. Our daughter ended up joining the mini team this season and it’s been the best experience! All the girls on the entire team are so kind and fun and get along. Any drama gets stopped in its tracks and cleared up immediately. I cannot say enough good things about this studio. Thank you so much Epic, for an epic experience.

I love this dance studio! My daughter has so much fun here. We left our previous studio because we felt excluded due to racism, so I was looking for an inclusive environment, and this is definitely it. They make everyone feel included and always keep everyone informed and up-to-date. The staff is incredibly helpful and understanding of individual situations, and they do their best to assist whenever possible. It's also very kid-friendly—little ones will love it! Again, they are so understanding and caring. Overall, it's a very fun, positive, and inclusive studio.

My daughter has been going here for about 2 years now and we absolutely love them! The teachers are all amazingly patient with not only my four year old daughter, but her 2 year old brother as well when he tries to join in. They truly make you feel like family whenever you are there. Any time I’ve had a question or anything they are always so helpful and they are great at communicating what’s going on in not only the classes, but also any extras like fundraising and the recitals. 1000/10

I could never say enough good things about Epic. I have danced for 15 years, and experienced many different types of teams, and Epic has by far helped me grow the most not only as a dancer, but as a person too. The students and staff are so welcoming, my senior year was my first season with them, and they accepted me like I had been there for years. Rhenne truly has such an amazing studio. I would recommend this to any dancer looking for a new dance home.

My daughter has been a dancer for 15 years. She has danced recreational, competitive and helped with a special needs dance team. She’s danced many different styles from solos and small groups to very large productions. Her performances include numerous recitals, competitions, basketball games, festivals and parades. You could say we are VERY familiar with the dance community. Having experienced the good, the bad, and sometimes very ugly, I can confidently say EPIC Dance Academy is the BEST! From the professional studio space to the amazing teachers, I just can’t say enough good. It is the perfect balance of top tier dance education in a caring, loving and fun environment. The owners have put their everything into this studio and it shows. I would 1000% recommend EPIC to anyone from the tiniest new dancer to the experienced competitor looking for a new dance home.

Our daughter started at Epic dance academy when she was two years old. The programs for the younger children were engaging, active and fun all while learning dance styles. The teachers are attentive and caring to each child. Our daughter is now 10 and she has moved into the competition team and loves the excitement, challenge and friendships she has built. There is always fun things happening at the studio! Our daughter LOVES all the popcorn weeks!
At any age or level I highly recommend Epic!

Our daughter has been in dance for two years and this is her first with Epic. Her/our experience is so much better with Epic than with the other studio. The owner and staff at Epic are more organized, the communication is way better, the instruction is top notch, and the vibe is more fun overall. Our kid loves it.
My favorite thing about them is when they bring out the popcorn machine—FREE POPCORN WHILE YOUR KID IS IN CLASS.

My daughter has been dancing with Epic Dance since she was 2 1/2. She is now 4 and would go to dance every night if she could! I also love that there is a parent sitting area where we can observe our children, so there is never a concern of what's going on in class.
A bonus- the office staff, manager and owner are around daily and easy to talk to regarding class schedules, tuition, costumes- really anything! I love this dance school and we are excited to dance here for years to come!

Our daughters have been dancing at Epic for almost 10 years. We originally chose the studio because of it's laid back feel compared to some of the other more uptight dance studios, and that they allowed parents to watch every class (there are TVs in the waiting areas) instead of just once a month or quarter like some other studios. Possibly sounds silly, but it was also super helpful that the dress code and hair style were both more lax for the recreational classes than other places. We just wanted our girls to have FUN dancing, not worrying about making sure they 'looked right' to be a dancer. Fast forward several years, and my oldest was encouraged to join the competition team by a couple of teachers and the owner. It has been such a growing experience for her. Her confidence has increased, she has learned to take constructive criticism and do something positive with it, and she has formed special friendships with her teammates. She loves her teachers and has learned so much from them, and we appreciate the owner's care for her dance family. They have worked hard to make sure there is not the typical "dance mom" vibe there. If you're looking for a laid-back dance studio that will still challenge and love your dancer, I encourage you to check out Epic Dance Academy!

I genuinely cannot say enough positive things about Epic Dance Academy. I graduated last year and only danced competitively for 3 years. In those 3 years, I have grown more than I ever could have imagined due to the positive atmosphere, hard working teachers, and encouraging classes. The teachers push you to be better, and to be your genuine best self and dancer. Not only did I learn new dance skills, I learned valuable life lessons that have really impacted me. Dancing here helped my confidence and teachers made me feel like I was valued. They pushed me every practice to improve and learn new things. From having no experience jumping into a teen competition team to graduating feeling accomplished and proud of how far I have come, it is all thanks to the awesome teachers and owner of the studio Rhenee. Not only do they care, they make you feel like family.

My little girl started at Epic when she was 3 years old. Over the years, my daughter (A) has changed her interests from Scouts to swimming, gymnastics, dance, etc. We have been with Epic off and on for years. Funny thing is, when we come back, it always feels like we never left. The owner always remembers us and welcomes us back. My daughter just jumps right back into classes and Epic feels like home base. The staff have always been warm and kind to us. When A has had concerns or questions, Rhenee has taken time out of her schedule to address us personally. This has only happened at Epic. With all the activities A has been involved with, only Epic has made us feel like people, and not simply a number. I am so grateful that A is dancing again, and for us, Epic is the only place for dance.

We found Epic Dance Academy in 2016, and started into the dance world with no previous experience. 7 years later, my dancer has grown up within the studio, and they have learned many important lessons from their time spent there. What we have valued the most from our time there is the small personalized classroom sizes, the friendships made with other dancers, and an awareness of competition for the sake of self improvement, team building skills and most importantly, for fun. My dancer doesn’t want to dance anywhere else, and to know that their time here means that much to them, is the most important review I need.

Based on other reviews from 8 months ago it is obvious this place went through some changes and not for the better— It took one trial class for us to tell this wasn’t the place for us.
We had a trial class there with my young daughter after finding it on Facebook— in short, the entire experience was unorganized and unprofessional.
Arrived 10 min early as directed—Roamed around in the dark following the voices of the employees I could here speaking but not acknowledging me. Finally I took my daughter to the bathroom in the dark and finally someone found us 5 min before class started.
My daughters class had a “student teacher” which I was open to as my daughter is 4and it was her fist time in ballet… however the “student teacher” spent half the class twirking and watching herself in the mirror as she made up inappropriate dances. I totally get that’s part of dance however these were 4 year olds that she was supposed to be teaching ballet— not once did the teacher correct her. Frankly she was distracting rather than teaching.
Lastly- the director was obnoxious to say the least. She was very obviously sick with a head cold of sorts. We were there for a 40 minute class and on 3 separate occasion she felt compelled to come out and walk around the small room full of parents and young kids and announce that she had a double ear infection and pink eye. She reassured us repeatedly that she was on antibiotics— frankly that’s irrelevant. These are other people’s children and she in no way needed to be out around us other than to seek attention or get pity.
All around a horrible experience. Did not sign my daughter up for the

WOW! The NEW dance competition season is here and I just watched my 8 year old granddaughter perform her second solo performance in as many as four years. She was amazing and was awarded a Platinum and "Best Choreographed Dance. In the four years of watching her dance, she has done very well from the beginning and improved each year. I credit the EPIC Staff from the owner, all the way across the floor to the newest teachers. The discipline, dignity, and talent is just amazing. I'm so proud of all these young ladies and gentlemen. It's great to see so many young children getting involved with a skill trade.

My daughter has been dancing at Epic for almost 9 years and on the competitive dance team for 7.5. She absolutely loves dancing and this studio has helped her advance her dance and tumbling skills. The teachers are always there to help if she wants the help and push her if she needs a little nudge to accomplish her next “trick”. The studio definitely feels like a family and is very close knit. We, as a studio, have went through a very trying time for the past few months but I believe that has made us come out even stronger! We are so excited to rock this competition season ahead of us! I have been in the dance world with Epic’s owner since I was 11 so I was happy to share this with my daughter. Thank you Epic for all you have done for our family!

My daughter has taken private classes with the owner for three years. We were recommended to the studio through several other families that have had wonderful experiences over many years.
Throughout her time at Epic, my dancer’s teacher has worked with her to improve her flexibility and helped her through injuries and her recovery. My dancer’s main focus is in an art form not offered by the studio. Despite this not being Epic’s area of expertise, her teacher has researched and expanded her knowledge in order to better serve my dancer’s needs. We have been so happy with the support and knowledge that we have experienced at Epic.

This is not just a review but my very personal and guarded story of how my family joined Epic. My daughter is neurodivergent and diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) at the age of four, now seven. She has vestibular and proprioceptive disturbances with sensory seeking behaviors. In layman's, she can't stop moving, bumping, pushing, crashing, and spinning her little body and always had difficulty with emotional regulation which presents itself as explosive meltdowns, anxiety, and withdrawing. She also has sleep disturbances and requires little to no sleep, which makes these issues worse. In short, we are always exhausted.
Those who know us, know the struggles we've had since our daughter was one year old. My mother-in-law suggested putting her in dance at the age of 18 months in 2016 with a studio and owner, Rhenee whom she knew for several years and assured me she was trusted and reputable. I was hesitant because taking my daughter anywhere caused explosive outbursts and crying for hours, I mean ANYWHERE. She couldn't process transition, simple things like leaving the house and then getting put in the car, leaving the car and then into a store.
Upon our first meeting with Rhenee at her studio, I knew immediately my daughter would thrive in this environment. She was friendly and attentive, patient and kind and Rhenee knew to put my daughter in toddler tumbling as it could help her with what we later knew was SPD. Our daughter did very well with her class in the beginning. She had so much fun with the other kids and took to Rhenee immediately. My daughter never went to many adults except her parents and grandparents and it was wonderful to see her interact and enjoy her lessons.
And then we ran into some obstacles a few months in. My daughter was having several meltdowns in class and was so disruptive I had to take her home. I didn't take her back for two months, I was embarrassed and defeated and felt like no one or nothing understood or could help. It was a very lonely and isolating time, if you have kids like this, you know.
Rhenee reached out to me one day after months of absence. She said, we miss you guys and you should bring her in again. Just try, don't give up, it will get better. And she was so very right. It did get better! We continued with toddler tumbling her first year and she excelled. She did her very first recital on stage at two years old and it was the most amazing and emotional thing to witness. There were many tears because this was such a monumental milestone for our family and for a kid like mine. She thrives in dance!
Attending Epic for the last six years has been an integral part of helping my daughter manage her SPD, something she will always have to deal with. She has confidence because of it! Dancing here has given her a safe and creative outlet to be her wonderful self and all because Rhenee takes the time to understand my child's needs and knowing what it takes to help her grow in dance. Rhenee will always be family to us because it truly does take a tribe. We respect her greatly and are forever grateful and appreciative for what she and her studio has done for our family.

If you are looking for a dance studio for your child please do your research and stay clear from Epic. Over 20 dance families, including my own, have left Epic recently due to the behavior and hostility from the owner over this past season. The owner of this studio will not apologize or own up for her terrible behavior. Instead, the owner has deleted her facebook page reviews and has tried to get anyone and everyone she knows to give Epic 5 star reviews to try and save her reputation. All of the recent 5 star reviews from the past week have been from either people who are affiliated with Epic or people who have never been a client of Epic. It is really sad and despicable that these people are giving these fraudulent reviews to try and discredit many Epic families that have had terrible experiences with Epic and its owner. Also, I have been recently harassed by owner's relatives so the terrible behavior of this studio continues on. Please read all of their honest reviews for Epic for the truth. It would be irresponsible to not let everyone know what this studio and owner is all about when they can't control reviews on Google.

Half these reviews are cracking up😂 thank you all for the good laugh. I only have few things to say. One being y’all really upset that rhenee holds her grand baby durning class. Y’all really upset about that? Why didn’t Kirah (No hate I didn’t care or mind) hold her babies while she teached? And nobody said anything about her doing that but when rhenee holds a baby now it’s wrong?🤣 okay. Two the whole she punishes the kids when they make a mistake? Doesn’t every sport do that? And they do more then just pushes ups and wall sits. Look like if your kids cant do a little pushes to help them remember and work on their mistakes they probably shouldn’t do any other sport😂. Almost done two more things. Three hole in a wall? Did anyone take pictures I would loveee to see it I knew rhenee was strong but not that strong. Four playing favorites to selective students and family? Then I would like a refund 😂 I have been dancing with Renee since I was 4-18 and she did NOT play favorites, if you got a place up front or a solo part in a group dance it’s cause you worked your butt. Enough of me ranting but for real y’all are to sensitive😂. To Epic Dance Academy and their family keep your heads up and negative out of your lifes. I love you all and hope you have an amazing day🤍🤍🤍🤍 also unless you and your child personally went there only the parent should right a review stop having your whole family come and attack a small business. Do better and go do something with yalls lifes fr

My granddaughters have been on the competition team at Epic Dance Academy for 8 years, and they loved it for the most part for 7 of those years. They had fabulous teachers this year: Miss Jillian, Miss Daron, Miss Angel, Miss Kirah, Miss Gretchen, Miss Kayla and Miss Kendra. Five of those teachers are leaving this year for various reasons, but mainly due to the loss of respect the owner has for them and the way the owner treats the dancers. What used to bring such joy to my granddaughters became a dreaded chore this year. They used to love going to dance and everything about it. This year was completely different. Every time I brought up dancing to them, I could see their anxiety mount. The studio owner was verbally abusive and my younger granddaughter had multiple panic attacks this spring, all related to dance and the owner. This year, more than any other year, the owner was focused on a particular small group winning every competition, some of which she didn’t even bother to attend. There was so much pressure placed on these dancers that two of the dancers quit dancing all together, and the remaining three are leaving the studio. At one competition, she told a coach from another studio that she was done with this group since they didn’t win for a second competition in a row. The teen and senior competition team environment there is toxic.
What once used to be a family friendly environment is no longer.

I danced at this studio for 8 years, and I competed for the last time just the other day. I left because of the extremely toxic atmosphere, favoritism, and the childish behavior by the owner.
Half of my teachers gave their 2 weeks notice before nationals and were told not to come back not even a week later. They were not allowed to run routines with us, nor were they allowed to even help us get ready at the competition. Our classes were covered by students, and sometimes combined with other classes, so we did not get quality rehearsal time in the weeks leading up to the biggest competition of the season.
The owner is very unsupportive of us. She failed to show up at competitions on multiple occurrences because she was conveniently out camping on those weekends.
If you are looking for a studio with a family atmosphere and caring owner, I urge you to look somewhere else.

As an attendee of several recitals I can say I'm impressed with the skill displayed and the efforts of all the dancers from toddler through high school age. You can tell the students really enjoy what they're doing and are loved and encouraged through their teachers. The professional production of each event and the modesty of the outfits and song selections are also appreciated as a Christian. Many other academies are a turn off due to the image put off in the way the girls dance and dress way too suggestive or adult like. That is never the case with Epic. Keep doing what you're doing Rhenee and God will continue to bless you and Epic 🙏

Our daughter has been at epic for several years and I would argue for the most part our experience has been positive. She was able to succeed and thrive in something she loved, and as a father seeing your child smile and be passionate to something she truly loves was all worthwhile. However the last several years the environment has become very toxic. This comes down to the owners accountability, fairness and the simple way of just treating people right. Most of that has gone down the wayward side. And it's truly unfair to my daughter and other parents who were just there to see their own children just be kids. Shaming teenagers and making children do push-ups for simple slip ups, firing good quality teachers just before nationals? Even to the point of getting into my wifes face all because you had a problem with my daughters hair. Why? because the owners pride took a hit? No I'm sorry. the families that attend epic are good people and we have been blessed and very fortunate to have bonded with them. To the teachers and students that helped my daughter, thank you. To epic. Don't be epic. Be better.

I used to be extremely insecure and shy due to the things I went through at my old studio, and as the years have gone by at Epic I've grown more and more outside of my comfort zone thanks to Miss Rhenee and all the teachers! On top of that, Miss Rhenee has always been extremely understanding about whatever someone is going through and does all she can to help them in any way she can. We started at epic last summer after rave reviews of how amazing of a place it was for our 8 year old daughter to continue dancing. In the beginning it was as advertised fun and friendly place where the kids can learn and compete. However out of nowhere things just went off a cliff. The attitude of the owner had changed and began creating an environment that wasn’t good for kids to participate in. Then the money grabs really became noticeable our bill kept fluctuating even after paying our tuition and any competition fees that were on our account little random fees would start popping up on our account. Then the firing of staff just before nationals on top of the berating of dancers and general disrespect of parents and families are why we and many others are leaving and searching for a new place to land.

My daughter started at EPIC about 3 years ago. Walking to EPIC I felt like I was treated like family. It made my daughter feel so comfortable and was welcomed with open arms. We loved it. & my daughter made excellent strides in dancing. We immediately put her in the competitive team. We were happy. That was until COVID hit. That's when it started to become a money grabber. We had to pay for classes online being taught by zoom. I didn't think we should of had classes nor should we have to pay full price when my daughter couldn't even be taught properly, she was miserable online and it wasn't cheap. Rhenne changed her summer tuitions from register for 2 classes get the 3rd half off to full price for everything. We didn't know what exactly we were paying for as there is no clear price sheet or were we told we were going to paying for something. We were just surprised everytime we opened up our app to pay. My daughter would also feel like she wasn't good enough because some girls "family" moved up to a higher class than her even though she was just as good if not better. The girls schedule was ridiculous long in days from 5-830/9pm 3 days out of the week so my daughter was falling behind in school. Rhenee didn't seem to care, her quote "I don't think homework should be given." As months went by prices increased and the faith in kids went down, she now didn't care about kids feelings only money. Before nationals she FIRED half of her teachers & kicked parents out of the studio. My daughter was being taught by student teachers & still had to pay FULL price. If parents didn't pay you she would tag you and call you & your kid was NOT allowed to dance at NATIONALS. I used to recommend this studio to everyone, now it is just the opposite.

I can’t put into words how amazing Epic is for the self image of my child. Rhenee (the owner) supports each child and welcomes each child regardless of skill. Each child feels valued and confident and truly free to dance without judgement. There are amazing dancers and amazing teachers at this studio...but the kids that aren’t master dancers feel just as important. Walk through the doors....meet Rhenee....you will never want your child to dance anywhere else.

My ten year old son is in his schools lip sync/dance competition with a group of his friends. Myself & another mom started to work with this group of 5 boys, but let’s be honest I’m not a dancer or choreographer so I kept getting more frustrated than anything, so I contacted Rhenee who was my Cheerleading Coach & Dance Instructor when i was in grade school over 20 years ago & in just 1 session she had these boys going from looking a hot mess to actually looking like an organized group who is ready to perform for their school.

I never really was involved with dancing, until my sister started taking up classes at Epic. She started as a "hip hoppin' frog" which was the cutest thing ever. I always remembered Rhenee helping each and everyone of the kids at her studio. Watching her help them showed me that everyone has a starting point and that it is okay to mess up, it all takes time. So, I took my first class and I absolutely loved it, ever since then I have made great friends, and I have had so many amazing experiences that I will never forget. I highly recommend you bring your child to dance here and watch them grow, they will make great friends and have an amazing/safe learning environment.

What are incredible studio, what an awesome staff, what a caring owner. Seems too good to be true? nope...EPIC Dance Academy is all that. We would not send our daughter anywhere else, and I'll bet a lot of the other dance parents feels the same!

I can't say enough great things about Epic Dance Academy. I have two daughters, both are on the competitive dance team and Epic is our second home. It truly is a dance family. My girls have both grown so much as dancers because of the awesome instructors. Costumes, song choices and routines are always age appropriate. Rhenee and her staff teach so much more than dance moves. Being a part of the Epic's dance team has taught my girls important life skills such as perseverence, teamwork, responsibility/accountability, how to take criticism, sportsmanship, and confidence. And most importantly my daughters (and myself) have made friendships that will be lifelong.

My daughter came to Epic with only about one year dance experience. She has learned so much from Epic Dance not only about dance but also about compassion, life, responsibility. Rhenee cares about these girls not only as dancers but as people. She cares what is going on in their life outside of Dance and is there for them for whatever they need. I can't say enough about how Epic changed my daughters life. Thank you Rhenee from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for Madison. I highly recommend Epic Dance

Our daughters have danced at Epic for many yrs now and absolutely love it! The family atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The studio is colorful, kid-friendly, and clean. Our girls dance recital and on competition team which had allowed them to each to grow as dancers and young women. The prices are very reasonable (we have paid a lot more elsewhere) and the teaching staff is awesome!

My 3 1/2 year old daughter and I went to visit the studio. The lady at the desk was nice; gave us a tour and told us the next class for my daughter's age group was the next day. She also gave us a schedule indicating same.
We show up the next day and my daughter was so excited to dance. The same lady behind the desk escorted us to the class room, where Renee, the owner, was teaching the class. Renee told us that my daughter could not join the class, because that class isn't on the schedule anymore (yes it was).
She then told us that it would be best that my daughter just came back during the summer in four months. Renee said that my daughter could come to a class next Tuesday but she would be only be able to participate on the side of the room not with the rest of the class because they have a recital in 4 months.
I didn't want to make scene because my daughter was already crying at this point. I simply told the owner that my daughter is only 3 1/2 and it's OK if she can't be in the recital, she, just wants to learn. Renee didn't care that my daughter was crying and didn't offer to have an assistant at least let my daughter dance in one of the empty studios or anything; Renee just sent us packing.
I wouldn't go near this place again. I'd advise anyone to avoid this studio.
