Eric is fantastic. He is knowledgeable, patient, and charismatic. He always comes prepared, but he’s also great at making on-the-fly adjustments to maximize progress and avoid injury. He makes your goals his own and celebrates your milestones. He does all of this with a great attitude and sense of humor. I had no previous experience with personal training, but now I can’t imagine working with anyone else. Highly recommend!

You can only give 5 stars here, but Eric is 10/10! I have been training with him since late 2023 and I could not be happier with my choice! Eric is incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to his profession and his clients. He has such a positive attitude (even at 5 AM!) and it is hard not to be motivated by it. He will certainly challenge you, but also provide unwavering support along the way. I have found Eric to be a really compassionate person who will meet you wherever you are on your fitness journey, ZERO judgment. I am incredibly grateful to have found Eric and look forward to continuing my fitness journey with him.

For me, the point of a trainer is to be able to show up, turn off your mind and trust that the trainer will supply the correct workout at the correct intensity for your goals. Eric, checks the boxes. He focuses on the goal of adding strength and maintains a flexible/personalized plan to get you there.

Eric is a great trainer. He always remembers my priorities 1) don't get hurt and 2) feel better/ get stronger. He strikes a good balance between pushing me/adjusting for illness, etc. He is always positive during workout sessions which helps with motivation.

I had aim person trainer at the gym for a year prior to working w Eric. The difference after switching was like going from playing checkers to chess. My bench and squat and overall fitness immediately took off after stalling out for the few years prior to starting to work w him. I had a motorcycle injury a few months ago and Eric was able to adapt the workout for me. Plus the level of communication he provides is surprising. He always reviews my workout within 24 hours w feedback and answers emails same day. Couldn’t be happier w the service and attention and competency he brings to our working relationship.

I’ve been training with Eric for the past year and it’s been the best part of my week! I am getting back into strength training and needed all the help with fundamentals and a training plan without the intimidation of what you get at a large gym or CrossFit studio. I found Eric online through Google search when I first moved to the area. I did not know what to expect and have been in in and out of personal training most of my life or some kind of work out program.
What I found was someone who is very knowledgeable on the body, fitness and how to get results. Someone who really wants to see you exceed. Eric has a passion for strength training, nutrition and his clients.
I definitely recommend Eric to anyone who wants to get stronger, meet physical fitness goals, learn about nutrition and overall better health.

Cannot say enough good things. I have a chronic illness that causes fatigue and joint pain and have had multiple joint replacement surgeries which make it challenging to find and maintain a workout routine that isn't debilitating. Eric designs personalized routines that he adjusts each session based on my limitations that day. His customized training sessions have allowed me to not only continue to work full time but to engage in outdoor activities that I love while growing stronger and having the energy to live life on my terms. A key thing that impresses me about Eric is he is constantly researching and learning new techniques to improve his craft which in turn improves the experience for his clients. I do not exaggerate when I say training with Eric has been life changing for me.

I've been active on my own in the gym most of my adult life. Machines, Dumbbells, and Cardio were all I knew how to use in the gym. Over time, nothing ever really changed in my body. I was basically maintaining. I decided I wanted to amp up my workouts by working smarter and not harder and the only way to do that was to find a personal Trainer. A few clicks later I found Eric and reached out to him. We started working together and after like 3 sessions, I could see and feel a difference in my body. I met Eric at Mission Five after he answered a question of mine on the website. He responded immediately and disclosed the information I needed to begin his program. I quickly learned that Eric had the knowledge and motivational support I needed to get to the next level. I have carpal tunnel surgery soon and Eric wanted to speak with the nurse to get as much info about post-op workouts. That is above and beyond in my opinion. I will always come back to Eric at Mission Five for my personal training and to get to whatever level I need next!

Eric is professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about his work. He takes a coach-like approach: gets to know your goals, pushes you a little further than you thought you'd go, and creates a climate of accountability (who wants to let Eric down?!). I've been training with Eric for over 4 years now. Over a year ago, I moved about an hour away from the gym. However, I still make the drive to work out with Eric 3 days a week because I believe he is a phenomenal trainer. From day 1, he understood my goals and he has continuously helped me to break through each one allowing me to set higher ones. Eric is not pushy but he is very positive and motivating. He has tremendous knowledge in health, diet and exercise and continues to educate himself so that he can translate into results for his clients. He never becomes stagnant in his programs which I like because it keeps me interested and also prevents me from hitting a plateau. Plus, he is an all-around super nice guy. Eric has trained me for four years. He also did my rehab after a serious bike accident. His routines are varied and always a good mix of the doable and the very challenging. He has tailored the workouts to get me ready for two long distance cycling tours down the west coast with exercises geared to cyclists. Eric was recommended to me by an old trainer and I'm very glad I called him. I am extremely overweight and need help with strengthening and also accountability. Eric has helped me with both. I am getting stronger and he is making sure I take small steps so I don't burn myself out. He helps me with my exercise and nutritional goals. He provides the accountability I need to stick with a plan. He knows exactly how far I can go in a workout. I came from physical therapy and he has continued the work I did in PT by making sure I continue my PT exercises while adding other exercises to further increase my strength. If you are overweight and very self-conscious about working out in front of someone like I am, then Eric is the trainer for you. I feel at ease when working with him and he is extremely personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone.

My passion is bicycle riding so aerobic health was solid when I began working with Eric but I wanted to improve tone and flexibility. He tailored my workouts to address both areas. Flexibility improved significantly and after a year of general tone, I shifted my focus to building muscle. I have seen a significant improvement in strength, flexibility and balance. Eric has a plan for every work-out and adjusts on the spot if I arrive with less time than scheduled or have an injury. He monitors me carefully during the workout to keep me safe, ensure my form is correct and that I'm being challenged but not overwhelmed. I found Eric while doing a web search for Kinesiology. I had a frozen shoulder and was told I would be in Physical Therapy referred by my Doctor for upto a year. One PT visit made me realize the approach was slow and inefficient. Only my should and R arm was considered. I wanted a whole body experience. After all, my L arm was doing more work while my R shoulder healed. Eric developed a specific approach to building strength on my L side and loosening my R shoulder. It was tough work yet within three (3) months I achieved 90% range of motion with my R shoulder. Eric did his homework for the exact exercises needed. He is a priceless find to get anyone moving.
